That night at the party. God she wished things had turned out differently. As horrible as it sounded, she hoped that Jupiter would have kissed her. But he wasn't a cheater, no matter the things he and Haley went through. He loved her and would continued to love her until he drew his last breath.

Jupiter laughed awkwardly, " Damn you're a year older than me and you get to drink. That's totally fair. Deserve more?"

Her cup was filled with lemonade.

" What if Haley isn't the right choice for you? What if there's someone more compatible?" She asked softly, she hated herself for asking. What was she pushing so hard? This crush needed to die yesterday.

For the first time since she had met him, she saw anger. His eyes darken and his voice became steel.

" Haley has always been the right choice Mindy." The coldness shocked her and she found herself taking a small step back.

" Sorry. Please excuse me." He placed his cup down and darted away. He sounded almost guilty.

That when Harry decided to walk in, he opened the fridge, grabbed two cans of unmarked sodas and looked at her.

" Still think that he's the one uncomfortable? Admit it, you really like him."

" He has a girlfriend back home Harry." She said tiredly, she was so tired of Jupiter Pluto and how he could put stars to shame when he smiled.

" That doesn't matter. Whatever you feel, that is what does. You can't control his feelings or his girlfriend's or even yours. But the more you continue to lie to yourself, the more your feelings are going to grow."

" So you want me to break up a relationship?"

Harry sipped from one of the cans, " Do you think he'll be happier with you?"

" You can't answer a question with a questions."

" Answer it."

She hesitated, " It's selfish to say yes. But it hurts too much to think that he's happier with someone else." Mindy closed her eyes and hoped the girl back home was a horrible person because if she wasn't. She would feel even more terrible than she did now.

" There's your answer. Don't do it. If you had answered no, I would have been like it's okay, it's just a crush. But you said yes. You're so in love with him, you're willing to ruin his relationship."

Mindy opened her eyes, " I need some air."

" Yeah and a good smack over the head." He called after her.

The stars were aligning and Mindy was utterly hopeless because no matter what. The stars had a plan for her.
