He lied to Haley. He never kissed Mindy. Nothing happened to that party.

It was dark. The music had been cranked up another notch and he swore he was losing his brain cells by the minute. But he found himself enjoying Mindy and her friends.

Harry and Freddie were currently now discussing the history of Jellybeans. Very informational.

" Okay but all I'm saying is that if you hand me a coffee jelly bean, you also gotta hand me a milk jelly bean."

" It comes with milk." Harry expressed.

" No, it doesn't. If it did. It would be called coffee plus milk."

Mindy sighed, " Trust me, we should escape now before they start asking for our opinion." She grabbed his hand and quickly weaved a path through the crowd of people into the kitchen.

" And those are my friends."

" I like them," Jupiter said.

" You're the first. So tell me about this nice girl back home." She grinned.

" Her name's Haley. And she was the first girl I met when my family moved from Seattle. We've been dating for two years and she's my brother's best friend."

" Wow, I know so much about her. I could write a book. Now is that Haley with one I or two. Because that's all I know about her. Come on I wanna hear about your love story."

He opened his mouth to say something, perhaps about the night of the roof or their anniversaries. But he couldn't. Their love story? Their love story was predicted in the stars from the moment they met. Both their parents adored each other even before they dated. Everything had come easy to them. If anything their love story if it could be described in a flavor, it would be vanilla.

And Jupiter was tired of vanilla. He had always been more of a rocky road type of guy.

" We don't have a love story. We just kinda decided to date."

Mindy frowned, " Booooo!" She gave him a thumbs down.

He laughed, " It's true. Our relationship is kinda, to be honestly boring."

" Than why are you in it?"

" I don't know. I like her, I really do but sometimes I wonder if things will work out between us. You know? Everyone is always expecting us to be this golden couple and it's hard sometimes." He broke off, his fingers combing his hair when he noticed that Mindy was staring at him.

Jupiter chuckled, " Are you sure you just gave me a soda?"

She suddenly looked down and ran her finger around the rim of her cup, " What if you deserve someone more?"
