The hardest thing he had ever done to leave Haley and Matt behind.

Now no matter what anyone said. Jupiter absolutely hated driving alone. It was so boring. The silence, the same constant looks of middle age mothers glaring through their designer sunglasses, their lips curled in disdain as he cut into a lane. He already missed everyone.

He was almost tempted to call Haley when he pulled into a rundown gas station but decided against it.

She wouldn't pick up. Especially now.

He leaned against his window as the gas began to flow.

" I love you, Jupiter Pluto." She said lowly, almost like it was a shameful secret.

He touched her cheek, " I- I-." He couldn't say it. The words were stuck in his throat and when she looked up and met his eyes, the words sunk down to his stomach.

She pulled away and smiled, the joy not reaching her eyes. She giggled and pretended to fix her skirt. " Well let's help Matt."

He arrived at Beachview University three hours later. He was one of the last to pull in. Incoming freshman was already in the process of moving all their things inside the dorms.

" Hiya!" A pretty girl with dark violet hair and shining eyes greeted him.

He eyed her warily. All he wanted to do was collapse on the nearest bed and right now it was that air mattress that three men were struggling to bring inside.

" Hi my name's Mindy and you are?"

" Jupiter." He smiled tiredly.

Her eyes brighten and for a moment he couldn't help but notice she radiated the same innocent energy that Haley had years earlier.

" Like the planet?"

" The color and all."

She gasps, " Suddenly you're my favorite newbie. Come on Mr. Solar system I'll show you your room. And good news you only got one roommate."
