Camp

Hey guys, would it be a good idea to continue this fanfic into four other books? I'm thinking about doing two more crossovers between this and Harry Potter, Avengers, Eragon and even How To Train Your Dragon. Tell me what you think!!

Enjoy

With nothing else to do, Ariston flashed back to Apollo's palace where his hunters were waiting. As he walked in, Ariston realized that the place they had been staying in for the last century still did not feel like home. Despite the many times he had acted like it was. They had never had the time to go out and find the perfect area for their base. They could not make it in the north because that is where Khione was based and Ariston did not want to meet her, considering the stories that Leo told of her. He could not make it in the south because it was too close to the Sea of Monsters for his liking. The areas in New York and California were off limits because of the demigod camps.

Many times Ariston wondered why they needed a base since the hunters of Artemis did not, they just moved around the country. Then he remembered the sheer number of the hunt, if they did what Artemis' group did then the discovery would have been much sooner than it was and it would not leave Ariston with the upper hand.

"We have to got to find our own place," he muttered.

It was just loud enough for Shizzle and Dove to hear.

"Maybe you can call in a favor from Chaos," Dove suggested.

That stopped Ariston short. He had not thought of that.

Dove, Ariston started, You are a genius. I am doing that the second we finish this.

Since everyone's hood was down except for Ariston's, he could see the smug look that Dove gave to Shizzle. Leo pouted and crossed his arms across his chest. Ariston smirked to himself; Leo had probably brought that up once or twice while talking to Dove instead of telling Ariston himself. Sam being Sam, he stole the idea and the opportunity to tell Ariston.

Alright, everyone, Airiston said, clapping his hands together for attention, There has been a change of plans, who ever was the team that was watching the area around Camp Half-Blood, he paused to calm his sudden beating heart, will switch with the elite team. The Olympians have asked for our help so our team will be going to that camp to train the demigods. The team that chose Camp Jupiter area is training them. Dismissed.

With that, Ariston spun on his heel and strode back inside the palace.

Phoenix caught up with Ariston just inside the doors. "You alright?" He asked.

All he got in response was a curt nod and a grunt.

"Hoods?" He asked next.

I could care less, Ariston answered. You all do what you want. I will be wearing one for when we first go there at least. I want to find out what they think of the great Percy Jackson now that he is dead.

"What are you doing now?" Luke asked, changing the subject.

Ariston glanced at his friend. He noticed that Luke does not like to talk of the death of the former Percy Jackson. It made him uncomfortable. To talk to Chaos about a base, he answered.

"Okay, I am going to pack, see you later," he patted his shoulder and moved down the hall.

Ariston made his way to his own room. Contacting Chaos will not work unless he is in absolute privacy. Not many people know about him and Chaos. Only his elite team and the gods present when he was brought back know about it.

Once in his room, Ariston closed and locked the door and stood in front of a full length mirror. The mirror was gold and had engravings of musical instruments and birds around it. It was not really Ariston's style and he had almost thrown it out the window when Apollo brought it in. However, before he could, Apollo explained that it was a better way to communicate with Chaos than the alternative.

The alternative...if Ariston were to describe it in one word, he'd say barbaric. Apollo knew he would rather have the girly mirror than do the ritual so he brought one in from his own rooms.

Tapping on the glass, Ariston called out for the cosmic being. "Chaos! Chaos! Come out, come out where ever you are!" Ariston kept tapping, not stopping until the annoyed face of the creator of the universe showed up on the glass. He spoke here with his real voice because his telepathy would not work through the mirror. He did the same with the Olympians because he thought it would make Zeus even more freaked out and paranoid than he already was if he had a voice in his head.

"Ariston, how many times did I tell you to not tap on the glass?" Chaos demanded, folding his arms across his chest. "It gives me a headache."

Ariston smirked. "You sound like the fish at the aquariums," he commented.

Chaos had reinstated his water powers and his ability to talk to sea creatures and equine animals when he blessed him. Since Poseidon had disowned him, his powered over the sea had been no more. That is, until Chaos fixed it.

"Pfft," Chaos scoffed, faking offense. "I am nothing like those silly little creatures."

Ariston raised a disbelieving eyebrow. "Sure," he drawled.

"Anyway, why did you want to see me?" Chaos asked, getting to the point.

"I want to ask if you can do anything about the Hunt's lack of base," Ariston said.

"Ah, yes," Chaos said, steepling his fingers as he reclined in his chair, "I was wondering when you were going to come to me about this." Chaos eyed Ariston for a quick second before standing up and moving off screen. "I have one of these for every potential hunter and they all lead to the same pocket dimension." His voice sounded distant and loud noises came from off to the left as though someone was rummaging through a chest.

When he came back, he was holding what looked like a golden tent roll.

"When you walk in, you enter a mansion big enough for the entire Hunt," Chaos explained. "It is also a great way to escape if you are cornered, you can escape to someone else's room because only those of the Hunt and those invited in are allowed inside."

"That is perfect," Ariston said, "How are you getting them to me?"

"There will be an entire room full of them inside the mansion," Chaos said, dismissing the problem with a wave of his hand. "This one is going to appear on your bed in a minute or two."

Ariston nodded in understanding. "Cool, thanks Chaos," he said, "Is there anything you think you could tell us that will help?"

Chaos shrugged. "When you get to camp, Tigress, the new Oracle of Delphi will spout a new prophesy," he started, "And there are some immortal campers you might want to look out for. The praetors are visiting too."

"That is not what I meant," Ariston growled, clenching his jaw.

"No, but it helped did it not?" Chaos looked at him as if worried it really did not help.

"A little," Ariston grudgingly admitted. At least now he has time to mentally prepare for when he arrives at the camp.

"Bye Ariston," Chaos told the god.

Ariston didn't bother to say anything. He just tapped the glass, turning off the mirror and moving to the bed. He planned on staring at it blankly until the tent roll appeared.

Once it did, he popped it up and strode inside. Inside was much like Apollo's palace, excluding the extra big infirmary he had. Their infirmary was less than half the size of Apollo's. The entire mansion was the size of a hotel and the first floor held the common rooms like the kitchen and the living rooms. The armory was almost as big as the infirmary and there were racks of weapons that lined the walls and filled the middle of the room.

He eventually found the room that held all the other tents. Curious, he opened one inside the room in a clear spot. On the outside, the tent did not look that big, maybe only two and a half feet by three. Yet on the inside was a mansion, it was much bigger and it was quite strange to get used to. Each tent opened up to their own rooms and there was another door that led to the rest of the mansion.

Ariston nodded in approval before grabbing five tents from the rooms and walking out of his own tent. Luke, tell each leader to come to the living room, he told his second in command.

In the next second, Ariston was in the living room, beating everyone there. In the second after that, Luke strode in with the four other leaders right behind him.

"What's up boss?" Casper asked. His real name was JT and he was an unknown son of Hades from the Greek era. "Finally here to give me a demotion?" He also hated his job as the Delta team's leader. Ariston had promised that if he found someone he trusted enough then he could get them to be leader in his place. So far he hasn't found anyone yet.

Ariston sighed. JT brought this up every chance he got. "No, I've called you here for out new base," he told them.

"Really?" Luke asked with a raised eyebrow.

Ariston shrugged and brought out the five tent rolls he had brought with him. Tossing them to the leaders he carefully watched their expressions. He was not sure what to expect.

"Sir, these are tents," Beta leader, Daniel pointed out, despite the fact that he was a son of Demeter, his code name was Perseus. He had grown up in the camp around the time that Percy was there. Percy had quickly become his idol and did not believe a word spoken against his hero. He is now around sixteen and still idolizes Percy Jackson, even though he is now Ariston.

Ariston put him in the position of leader for multiple reasons. One of them being for the fact that he needed a person around that didn't know him well but still saw him in a positive light.

Ariston smirked slightly. Really? I thought they were pizza boxes, he said.

After he had explained how they worked and basically told them everything that Chaos had told him, he sent them to give the tents to their teams and pack for the next day.

"We are heading out by tomorrow morning so be ready to leave when I wake you up," He told them. They were all used to his habits of trying to get them unprepared, once he woke them up, they had ten minutes to be down stairs for a quick break fast and then out the door for the road. The times he wakes them will never be the same.

The next day, Ariston led the way to Camp Half-Blood, driving the bus that Apollo had gotten for them. Once they had gotten to the hill in front of the camp, he stopped the bus and stood up before his passengers could get up.

Use the hoods if you want, I don't care but just so you know, no one is to know my identity until I say, Ariston told them. Chaos told me that there are some immortal campers from the last time I was here and that there will be a new prophesy. We may not get it right away but be prepared for when it comes.

Once he saw that they all understood him, he opened the doors and climbed out of the bus.

Deciding to make a dramatic entrance, Ariston unfolded his hidden wings and leapt into the air.

He flew over the camp a couple of times, drawing the attention of the campers and looking for differences that were made after he left. There weren't many; the lava wall was moved to the other side of the camp. He saw Connor and Travis down by the sword arena and decided to have a little fun.

How you doing boys? He asked them from the air. He saw them give each other nervous looks before realization crossed their faces. They then did their best to hide their excited expressions which did not fool Ariston. The jig is up, you will be joining some time with in the time period that I and the elite team will be here. You both will be taking over the Delta team for Casper.

The Stolls both knew about Casper's loathing for his job in the Hunt and had both thought it was funny. Ariston decided last minute to see how they like being in charge. It will be very different than being a camp counselor and being the only contacts besides Chiron between Camp Half-Blood and Ariston. They sometimes recruited for him and sent girls over to him so he could sent them to Artemis.

The second he finished telling them that, the horn blew to tell everyone of the newcomers at the boarder.

Let's see how this goes, Ariston thought to himself as he landed on the top of Half-Blood Hill in between the campers and his hunt. He folded his wings in. Hello, my name is Ariston, god of the Hunt, Demigods and Loyalty, we are here to train you and help in the upcoming war against Tartarus, he told the campers in front of him.
