Yoongi glanced at the empty water cup in front of him. "Questioning life?" Taeyong asked with a chuckle.
"Sort of. I've got a lot going on."
"Clearly you do because for the first time in forever you ask me for water and not an alcohol beverage. Some serious shit must be going on."
"I need to drink more water. I think it's like necessary for life or some shit like that."
"So, what's going on?"
"My father is putting so much pressure on me me to take over the family business. I think I like a sociopath who has no emotions. Oh, and on top of that I'm clearly still a loser that isn't enjoying life like everyone else."
"Well," Taeyong said scratching the back of his head. "My father isn't pressuring me to take over his business, I clearly don't like a sociopath and umm,"
Yoongi laughed, "It's okay. I know my problems aren't necessarily relatable."
"How about a free shot? It's on me."
"I think I will pass. I will take another water."
"Okay. I can do that." He said taking the empty cup and filling it back up with water. While Yoongi waited for his water he turned to the right only to see a familiar person walking by.
It was the rich old man that was here with Jimin a few weeks ago. "Want something else?" Taeyong asked interrupting his thoughts.
"Huh? No thanks." He said as he kept staring at the bathroom door.
Minutes later he saw the same old guy walk out the bathroom towards, Taeyong. "Can I pay for the bill?"
"Sure. You're also paying for—"
"Yes. Everything Jimin ordered is on me."
Yoongi's eyes widen when he heard Jimin's name. He instantly turned around to see where he was but didn't see him.
After paying the bill he walked away and Yoongi casually got up to follow him to the next room.
He often just sat at the bar with Taeyong and never really sat at a table. That's when he saw Jimin sitting in the corner.
He got up to hug the guy who said something in his ear. Then he walked away with his coat at hand.
Yoongi kept staring at Jimin who then sat back down at the table. There were three full glasses of liquor in front of him.
He had his phone out and was typing something. That's when Yoongi got the courage to walk up to him.
It was either that or stay in the corner like a creep staring. He walked up to him, but Jimin didn't even glance up.
His phone was apparently more entertaining than him. Yoongi nervously cleared his throat to get some attention.
Jimin looked up slowly and when their eyes met he didn't seem impressed at all. In fact, he kept his phone at his hand ready to get back to the typing he was doing.
"Aren't you going to say something?" Yoongi asked a bit offended.
"Mingyu?" Jimin asked.
"Yoongi. I'm Yoongi." He responded a bit annoyed.
"Oop, I confused you. I was close though. So what's up? Jungkook here?"
"No, no, I'm here to talk about what happened." He said sitting down in front of him.
"What?" Jimin laughed while finally setting his phone down. He wore a black choker around his pretty neck and there was a hint of dark eyeshadow on the corner of his eyes making them appear darker than usual.
Two buttons from his shirt were undone exposing his perfect collarbones. It wasn't too much chest showing just enough to have everyone else fantasize about what was underneath.
And the vibe that he gave, fuck.
It could shake the entire world.
His presence, the way he talked, the way he walked, the way he carried himself was to die for.
Yoongi had to remind himself to breathe and keep calm. "You know—" before he could finish Jimin spoke up.
"Wait, if Jungkook is not here why're you here? Are you following me?"
"What? No! I-I always-"
"Have you seen that Netflix show called You? Are you secretly Joe?" He smirked raising an eyebrow.
"Who the fuck is Joe? I'm just here to discuss what happened a few days ago at my party. In the morning when you were eating pickles and-and you said some things—"
"Ugh," Jimin replied annoyed.
"What?"
"And what exactly happened? Nothing happened."
"But you said-you-"
"I was feeling it then so I just went with it. It's no big deal."
Yoongi shook his head confused, "I don't understand you."
"I didn't tell you to."
"You're sending all these mixed signals and-"
"What mixed signals? You're hot and I'm single so I wanted to just fuck around with you. Is that so complicated?"
Yoongi felt himself get flustered, "It is when you don't tell me you're just fucking with me."
"Well, I just did. Plus, don't you have a girlfriend? Why're you making such a huge deal out of this?"
Yoongi blinked several times. He wanted to say so much, but he was tongue tied. He was both humiliated and scared to even speak up because everything he said Jimin turned it against him.
Was he really just overthinking what happened?
Was he honestly such a fool to believe that Jimin even felt the slightest thing for him?
"She's..."
"What?" Jimin shrugged.
Not my girlfriend.
"Forget it."
"Alright, so are you going to keep talking to me or what?"
"Huh?" He asked with a bit of hoped.
"Yeah, are you going to keep talking to me because in that case I'm going to have to charge you. I'm an escort and I don't have time to sit here and not get paid. I've got expensive bills to pay."
Yoongi's heart sunk. Once again he completely misunderstood what Jimin had said. He was so double sided.
Fuck, he really needed to stop being a romantic fool.
He looked at Jimin who like always had no expression painted on his face. He could never tell if he was feeling happy, sad, or angry. Not even when he was smiling.
Because he just had a blank stare. All he could see was how much he had guarded his walls to not let no one in.
Yoongi couldn't help to wonder what had made him so cold and brutal. There was no way he had always been this way.
The only time he genially saw him smile was that night with Jungkook when he was beyond wasted.
"Hello?" He asked interrupting his thoughts.
"You're so cold," Yoongi responded.
"You think so?" He chuckled amused.
"Yes, I do. What's so amusing about that?" He asked in disbelief. How could someone just be so...cold-blooded?
Jimin shrugged with a smile. "Oh, so you just think it's a great quality huh?" Yoongi replied sarcastically.
"Of course, it's a great quality. It makes you strong. Being strong is good in a fucked up world like this. If you're not people take advantage of you and step over you to get where they want to."
"Oh,"
"So? Are you paying me or what?"
Yoongi gulped down the small knot on his throat. He felt like a loser yet again. Paying someone for their company. Was he honestly that desperate?
"Okay then," he told getting you from the table. He walked behind Yoongi and lowered himself down to whisper in his ear.
He was so close Yoongi could feel his body heat and smell his cologne. "Rent my services when you're over your feelings." He softly said pressing his lips against his earlobe.
Yoongi kept looking down at the messy table. His heart was racing at the moment. When Jimin finally walked away he felt like he could breathe.
He never thought he'd rather talk to a drunk Jimin instead of a sober one. It wasn't Jimin's fault that Yoongi felt this way.
It was Yoongi's own fault because even though he knew how Jimin was he still wanted to force them two together.
How pitiful.
Maybe Jimin was right. He needed to get over his feelings.
