Terran's P.O.V.~~

We searched the Wastelands looking for any signs of where the last troop went before they went missing. Platinum held a map in his talons. Our map just have a few place listed, those places were where the Warriors went to place it onto our map. We don't have a lot of places listed though, but luckily, the last troop went somewhere that was.

"Do you see anything?" Fury asked. Platinum shook his head, "No, but we're close to where they were last heard from. So keep an eye out for them." He called.

"What do you mean 'heard from'?" Rose asked. "A dragon with the ability to use telepathy went with them. So he gave Lazarus information on where they were. And Lazarus placed their location on this map." He answered with his eyes locked onto the map.

"You stole that map!!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, and relax. Its just a map." He looked at me.

"Well, yeah. That's a map. From our leader. The one who kept us safe during the war. And you stole his map. What if he needed that map!!" Platinum sighed "We have other maps back at the tribe. He can use those." He said looking back at the map.

"Well what if you starts stealing things, first the map, then you steal treasure!!"

"Why would I steal treasure, it's worthless during this war. So it will useless. No one cares about it. In fact you can rarely find them." He said. "All I'm saying is that you shouldn't steal." I replied.

"Right, thanks for the life lesson mom."

I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"Hey!!"

I looked over at my side seeing Fury take off. Platinum looked at her and growled "We don't have time for this, go get her!!"

I nodded and flew after her. My wings weren't big enough to keep up with her, and I often have trouble flying.

I saw Fury flew onto a mountain like figure. It wasn't as big as the mountains that used to be here, this was just a few feet.

Fury landed and kept running. Doesn't she ever slow down?

I landed and ran after her. I felt the cold hard stone under my talons. That's all this small mountain is, cold stone.

I saw Fury slow down and stopped. I finally catched up with here and walked to her side. "Fury, what are you doing? We have to go back!!" I said.

"I saw someone, a dragon. I saw him yesterday, in the distance. He has white scales I believe, and I think blue horns. Oh, and his eyes glowed purple a bit." I looked around seeing no body. "I don't see anybody."

"That's either because he hid himself or flew away."

I looked up seeing no dragon in the distance. "He couldn't fly away that fast, could he?"

Fury shrugged "I don't know. But I want to know if he was following us." She said looking around.

I sighed "But we have to go. Platinum and Rose are waiting for us." I walked to a ledge and spread my wings. Fury sighed. "Alright." She said following. We both flew into the sky, flying back to Platinum and Rose.

Rose's P.O.V.~~

I watched Platinum pace back and forth. "This is why I didn't want to bring anybody. You'll just slow me down!!" He hisses. He looked up at the sky.

"Maybe she had a reason." I suggested. Platinum huffed, he blew smoke from his nostrils "What reason would you have to fly off. That's the most idiotic thing to do if you ask me." He growled.

I laid down resting my head on my talons.

Platinum looked up at the sky again. I looked up there "What are you looking at, or looking for?" I asked.

"Air Mechanics, also Terran and Fury." I nodded, I thought about the Mechanics for awhile. "Platinum, do you know where the Mechanics came from?" I asked.

Platinum nodded "Yes." I tilted my head "You do, how come you never told anyone."

"I'd perfer not to speak about my past. But if you want to know, I can tell you."

"You don't have to if you don't want to." I said. "It's alright, it's about time I told someone." He said.

"Few years ago a dragon named Sylan created these machines. She created them for power. She used her ability of electricity to give them life. And she made a liquid with the mixture of few chemicals. She used some of it to power one Mechanic, that was the start of the Surface Mechanics. She tested it out on a dragon's family. The Mechanic killed the whole family, except one dragon remained. He fought the Mechanic, he didn't gave up until he won. After that, Sylan created more Mechanics. She used them for power. Dragons who didn't listen, perish, dragons who did, suffered. She wasn't reasonable, she used to be. She used to be a dragon with a kind heart and caring soul. But that was before she became greedy and searched for power. That's why the dragon who lost his family killed her. He wanted to stop the nightmare she was creating. Now, with the Mechanics with no leader, they soon seemed for power. They now are wanting all dragons banish from existence. And that's how the war started. And that dragon named Sylan was my mate, and I was the one that killed her."

I looked at Platinum with my eyes widen. "She was your mate!!" He nodded "Like I said before, I'd prefer not to speak about my past. And she wasn't cruel before. We were mates before she was. I'd loved her, but that was in the past. Now, I hate her, and I wish I can hear her scream in agony again." He growled.

I heard wings beats and saw Terran and Fury land. Platinum got up "Its about time, you wasted our time, the sun is setting." He said looking off to the distance at the sunset.

"Sorry, I thought I saw a dragon. And I thought he was following us." Fury apologized. Platinum sighed "Then where is he?" He asked. "We couldn't fund him." Terran answered.

Platinum nodded "Alright, we'll sleep here for the night." He said.

Platinum's P.O.V.~~

I've watched the stars come out for the night. Everyone else were already asleep, the moon shined onto us in the sky.

I felt my eyes droop. I forced myself to stay awake, but failed. My head collapsed onto the floor, my eyes closed. I soon drifted to sleep...

I looked around, all I see was black, pitch black. My scales gave off some light, but I saw nothing else. I heard laughter. I growled recognizing the laugh. "Sylan" I hissed. She laughed and soon her figure faded in. She had dark blue scales with neon blue marking. Her horns and spikes were black, her wings faded from blue to black. There was a red glow around her. "What are you doing here, I don't want to see you." I hissed.

She laughed "Oh, Platinum. I've missed you, don't you miss me." She said stepping forward. I hissed at her "Why would I miss you. And you haven't answered my question."

She smiled and walked to me. I stepped back "Stay away from me. I don't want you near me." I roared. She ignored me and kept walking forward. I hissed at her "I said stay away!!" I snapped.

"I can do whatever I wish. And to answer your question I came here because I've heard someone talk about me. The story of how this war was created." She said. She smiled like she was proud of it. I rolled my eyes.

"But I could've done SO much more, if SOMEONE haven't killed me!!" She said glaring at me. "I had to, I couldn't let you make dragons suffer more then you already did."

"And did that made a difference."

I sighed "no." She laughed "Ha, look what we have here, Platinum, the wannabe hero!!"

I growled at her "I don't want to be a hero, and I'm not a wannabe. I just couldn't handle all of the sorrow you caused so I tried to put an end to it!!" I roared at her. "And yet you weren't successfull. And your out here looking for a trio of dragonets that are most likely dead. Listen up Platinum, your going to kill yourself out here. I wouldn't risk it. Your just risking your life with a useless crew who are slowing you down. And your looking for a useless couple of dragons. Either go back to your tribe or meet your terrible fate here, I could care less. All I'm saying is, your wasting your time." She glared at me "I thought you were smarter than this." She said.

I roared at her "They aren't useless!! And Venom and her friend aren't dead!! And I'm out here risking my life for the ones I love!! Venom is like my daughter!! And her friends are special to me too!! And the useless couple of dragons you refer to are my friends as well!!! At least I'm out here risking my life with the ones I love. Unlike you, no one won't even care about you!! You don't care about any other dragon, or any life form at all!! Your a disgrace to the dragon race Sylan." I glared at her. She just glared at me with slit irises. "Goodbye Platinum."

I smiled "Its about time."
