Bitten
This question is from tomoskibay: If you're bitten, can you cut off the place that is bitten, or do you just kill yourslef?
Great question! It all depends where you were bit and how long ago you were bitten.
Say you were bitten on the arm and have a sharp, clean object around you. If it's below your elbow, then you can cleanly cut off your arm by yourself. Not saying it won't hurt though. If you can, you will want someone else to do it for you so you don't pass out halfway through. If not then you'll have to stay awake in order to make sure it's a clean cut and not bleeding out.
That's another thing. If it hits a major artery, you're probably doomed and will bleed out quickly. You also want to make sure you don't cut into a major artery and quickly seal off the ends of nerves and arteries. You can singe them off, but this may lead to infection, so your best bet is to cut it off at a 45° angle to leave some skin to fold over and stop the bleeding by applying a heavy cloth and quickly sew up your wound.
But if you go half an hour or even twenty minutes without cutting it off, then you're probably already infected. You can cut it off and try to survive because it also depends on how long it takes for the virus to travel through you.
Now there are some parts that are absolutely impossible to cut off, like your stomach or cheek for instance. These are times you will probably just want to end it.
Don't forget to vote and ask as many questions you want!
