Layla's PoV:

We were all freaking out when we saw the kid that was bit, Cody even screamed like a little girl, it was so hilarious when he screamed. Anyways, A KID HAS BEEN BIT! I asked all the boys in the group who they were, and if they ran out of the the school. They told me there name quickly and said they are in 5th grade. Wow, that's rough, just getting into middle school, then this happens, there only 10-11, they're so young. So, the kid with the bit on his arm was screaming, so to calm him down, I told him we could either cut of his arm or shoot him, it totally calmed him down. Yeah, no it didn't, it made him scream and cry. Oooooops, sorry not sorry. Annnyyywwwaaayyysss, he picked to get his arm cut off, so I used Harley's belt and put it around the top of the kids arm, he was freaking out, but his friends calmed he down and said "You'll be fine, she knows what she's doing". I honestly didn't know, I watch a lot of the walking dead, that's where I got my information... So, this is where it gets gross, I have to take my machete, and you know, cut his arm off. I didn't want to so I tried to make Cody do it but he said "Ew no, you're the expert", I was gonna ask Harley, but the kids life was in danger, so I did it... Blood went everywhere, it was so nasty, but I had bandages, and I wrapped what was left of his arm. I'm hoping this helped, he didn't even cry, he was so shocked. The kids asked if they could stay with us because we knew what to do and they didn't have any weapons except a kitchen knife. Me, Harely, and Cody talked about what to do, we agreed that we could take them, but if they slow us down or get us caught, they're gonna have to hide in an empty house or leave. We told the kids, they agreed and we were off. As we were walking, the kids saw zombies and ran, we had to kill the zombies, when we were done we couldn't find the kids. We looked for 10 minutes and we couldn't find the, we decided to leave because they were gone.

Harley's PoV:

I felt bad for the kids because they were so young and now they won't be able to live life to its fullest and get married, have children, get old and die a peaceful death, not being eaten. Obviously it could possibly happen but the chances are very slim. We head back into town and I know this place like the back of my hand and it just so happens that there is a gun shop next to a gas station and none have been taken because everyone was still at school or work. When I was younger I shot guns all the time and I shoot a compound bow and I go hunting all the time. Once we got a bunch of guns we headed over to my house to get my bow and gas cans to get extra gas. Once we reach there, I see both my mom's and my step-dads truck. We walk in and talk about what happened and what's going on. I was pretty upset when I heard Luke Bryan got bit because I was a huge fan but we ain't gonna get into that. Anyway, we had two cars and a truck with the motorcycle at Layla's house so we filled the back of the truck up with gas can and my tools because I have been working on cars since I was little and my dad got me them for Christmas. We filled our highlander up with food because we used to can all the time and we like to get non-perishable foods and filled our Nissan up with a bunch of water from water bottles to 5 gallon jugs of water. I was taught how to drive last year so I drive the highlander with Layla and Cody went with my step-dad in his truck. We got everything we needed out of our house and headed for Layla's house after a gas stop. When we get there we unload half of the stuff and kept the other half of the stuff in the vehicles in case of an emergency and we have to leave fast.

Layla's PoV:

When we left, Cody was freaking out about his best friend Craig. We decided, no we were forced, to walk to Craigs house so Cody could save him. But, Harley didn't know who's house we were going to, she has had a big crush on Craig since last year. When we got there, Cody knocked on the door and Craig answered holding some random piece of metal that was sharpened. Cody asked Craig if he wanted to come with.

Harley: "WHY YOU DO DIS TO ME LAYLA!"
Layla: "Cause it's funny."

Layla's PoV:
Craig was so confused, but then he yelled and said watch out, I turned around and a zombie was behind Cody. No one else was gonna do anything so I lunged and stabbed the zombie in the head. It fell on top of Cody, again, he screamed like a little girl....

Sorry for the short chapter, I'm going away for a week. Buuuuut, Mntnbabee is going to be writing, she is my best friend. So yeah, bai, me personally will write again Saturday!
