Amelia's POV:
"Help me!" "Help us!" "Please!"
My eyes are drawn wide by the amount of cries echoing off the walls. I try to adjust to the dungeon-like lighting, only becoming more scared by the hands reaching out to touch me.
"Let's put these two in there for know," Keegan directs his little minions.
Before I know it, I being thrown into a cell alongside Jimin. I quickly bounce back up, sprinting to the door as they close it on my face. Hoseok and I's eyes meet, his wet with fear.
"Where are you taking him?" I grab the man holding him by the arm.
Keegan rips him away from my grasp, "don't worry, we won't be eating him,"
"HOSEOK!" I scream while they pull him away.
I vigorously shake the metal door, following him along the length of my cell when I fail. Once I reach the end of my cell I desperately try to grab him again. Although, I'm not sure what help that would do.
"HOSEOK!" I cry again, "LET HIM GO!"
I can barely hear their footsteps now, my hopes of protecting Hoseok slowly disappearing with them. My breaths are long and ragged, it feels as if there is a huge block of concrete strapped to my chest.
"Hi there,"
"AHH!" I scream, falling backwards to the ground.
I stare at the figure in the cell next to me, their face practically scratched off but they are still alive. Drool drips from their mouth and onto the floor, a small gasp escaping my lips when they start gnawing at the metal bars.
At the other side of my cell, someone grabs my wrist wrist, pulling it out from under me so that I fall straight on my back. I draw in a quick breath when a figure just as scary studies my wrist.
"HOLY FÜCK!" I scream a second time, desperately crawling to the middle of my cell.
At this point I can't even get my breaths under control. My vision is even going spotted, a sign that I may have to deal with a panic attack soon.
"YAH! AMELIA!" Jimin's shout meets my ears, "I've been calling your name for like 10 minutes now! Are you deaf,"
I maneuver my body around to look at him. My hands are tightly cupped over my ears while my knees are drawn to my chest. I stare at him, sitting against the back wall of our cell, completely calm.
"Jimin," I cry, acting like he's the only thing I have in this world.
I crawl over to him and he automatically wraps his arms around me. My fingers clutch at the fabric of his clothing, trying to find safety in their folds. Wet tears now stain my cheeks, and all I can hear is the whispers of those creatures surrounding us.
"Hey, Amelia, listen to me," Jimin drawing my face away from his chest. He slowly interlaces his fingers with my and brings them down towards my lap. I sniffle a bit, stopping my sobs the best I can.
"If we want to get out of here, you can't be like this," He tells me. Suddenly all I can focus on is his voice.
"Hoseok Hyung is okay, they'll bring him back," he nods and I believe him, "but here is what you really need to listen to,"
I stare into his eyes to tell him that I'm listening.
"They're bound to take you away from me, or Hoseok at some point," he starts.
Immediately after the words leave his mouth I shake my head rapidly.
"Stop," He says, placing his palms on my cheeks.
"You need to be prepared for that. Where is the stubborn girl who absolutely hated all of us? Can't you channel some of that energy into these bästards?" He asks me sincerely.
"Jimin," I breath out shakily, "I want to be strong but I honestly don't see us making it out of here,"
"Yoongi Hyung did," He replies, "It's going to be hard, but it's possible,"
"But how do we find the medallion?" My bottom lips begins to quiver at each coming obstacle.
"We'll find it," Jimin nods, "but we must make a plan before we take it,"
"Jimin," I sniffle, "I'm scared,"
He laughs slightly at my obvious and sudden statement, "I am too,"
Suddenly I hear footsteps and laughter, my eyes widen and Jimin notices. He quickly shushes me, wiping my tears away and giving me a small smile.
"Amelia~" a voice calls out in a teasing manner.
"Be strong," Jimin whispers, he taps my hidden knife to remind me that I've at least got that.
"Are you going to come out or are you going to make us drag you out?" The voice calls out.
I take in one last sniffle to collect myself, pushing myself up on shaky legs. I worry about leaving Jimin alone, but at least I know he can take care of myself. My biggest fear is that fact that they're splitting us all up.
"Where are we going?" I ask in a low voice, glaring at the man opening my cell.
"Just wait and see," he smirks.
He grabs my wrist, pulling me out forcefully and locking the cell. I take one last look at Jimin who is able to give me another smile before I can't seem him anymore.
"Who are you?" I say as the man drags me down the hallway.
"Polick," he answers pushing me in different directions. I do my best do memorize our path, but honestly this place is like a maze.
Suddenly we come up on an open room, the lighting is red, with various hints of blue here and there and I can't help be notice the resemblance to a club. My eyes wander, looking at all the girls dressed in revealing outfits.
"What is this?" I manage to ask Pollick.
"The best place on Earth," He chuckles.
I can only turn a blind eye to what's going on here, even though I know all too well what it is. I can only hope that I can avoid becoming what they are.
We stop at a smaller room in the back, Pollick shutting the door behind us. I almost reach for my knife but decide that it's too early to become a threat to these people.
"Put these on," He throws some clothes at me and I realize it's what the other girls were wearing.
"No," I scoff, dropping them to the floor.
"I wouldn't do that,"
"I could say the same to you," I reply.
"But you don't have this,"
I yelp, Pollick lodging a needle into my neck and dispensing the liquid into my blood stream. A gasp escapes my lips, attempting a struggle but my vision is already becoming extremely weird.
I fall to my knees once he removes it, feeling the sore area with my fingers. My senses are completely off, but I try to stand anyway.
"You could've just done what I told you to do," He laughs, watching me struggle to stand up.
My entire body feels like bricks. I look up at him before collapsing onto my back, unable to move or think clearly.
"Now I'm going to have to change your clothes for you," he smiles, kneeling down.
