Felix and I look to the doorway hearing people scream, I turn off the shower as he runs out of here. As I leave, I put on the robe and see the kids running into the RV while I look around leaving to see walkers all around. I warned Shane that this would happen but no, he didn't want to listen or have anyone else listen. So he convinced people that moving was a bad idea and to trust him, the only people who listened were Dale, Carol, Andrea and her sister Amy, Glenn, T-Dog and Rick but his wife Lori didn't want to listen so it was split with the kids and Rick listening to us while Lori was staying with her lover. 

Creating balls of fire, I incinerate the few walkers that came near me. When all the walkers here are gone it's silence mixed with the tears of people. "Why the fuck" Shane storms up to me with a gun, Felix got between us "didn't your damn barrier keep them out?!"

"I told you" Glaring at him "the magic, my energy needed to be replenished and that meant resting. I told you that magic isn't a permanent fix" and I was using a good amount of my magic helping Rick make a skoolie, turning these RV's into safe moveable homes and using my magic making sure they work off of the energy of the sun.

"We also warned that something like this could happen" looking around at the multiple people who are dead, half of the camp it looks like or more "do not blame Phoenix for something that could have been prevented if you had listened to us earlier"

"Daddy" Felix's daughter Kitty runs out and towards us, Felix knelt down picking her up and holding her close while she cries. 

"I now" Jim looks around the camp "know why I was digging the holes, what my dream was about. It was this" 

After many hours, we move the bodies and make sure those  infected don't come back "Phoenix? Felix?" Amy comes over towards us "What do we do now?"

"What do you mean?" I ask

She looks from us to the others, from what Nessie showed me a walker almost bit her but Jack used his fork and stabbed it through his eye and into the brain "It was because of you both that IP'm even alive"

"Jack"

"Jack killed the walker" she cut me off "but if we didn't set up our camp the way we did, he wouldn't have been close enough to save me and...I trust you both. So what do we do?"

Felix and I share a look "Carrington Mansion" Felix tells her "I know the way and I've been there before, most likely the Carringtons and everyone there just left to the compound in Alabama. It should be empty, there are more than enough rooms there and there's a gate keeping those out..."

"How far is it from here?" she asks

Felix rubs his jaw thinking "About thirty minutes, maybe one hour. But you need to take into account if we will have any problems getting there or something else...if anyone stayed then I'm going to have to do the talking since those who stayed know me"

"I'll let Andrea know" she goes over to her sister, I wrap my arms around Felix holding him close and he held me close.

"What about the prison?" I ask

Rubbing my back "One thing at a time"

"No! No! No!" we look over to Glenn who is crying, T-Dog and Daryl were about to throw a body into the fire until Glenn snapped "he is one of us, one of our people! We don't throw them away like they are nothing!"

I go over towards Glenn, placing my hand on his shoulder "No one here is nothing, they are someone. They may not be alive but they are in us, our memories of them keep them alive" he nods his head "come here" he cries in my shoulder when I pull him down for a hug, looking over to the guys "lets have a pile for our people and one for the walkers"

"You all reap what you sow!" Daryl comments

"Shut up man!" Morales orders

Daryl motions to us all "You all left my brother for dead! You deserve this!"

"A walker bit Jim!" Jacqui stood up pointing to Jim who is sweating and we see on his shirt how there's some blood on it "A walker got him"

"Show it to us" Daryl orders

T-Dog ran up behind Jim and held him as Daryl pulled up his shirt showing us the bite, while Jim is a ways away we are in a circle. Amy, Carol and Morales wife are keeping an eye on the children as we talk about what to do with Jim "We put a pick axe through his brain" Daryl says "and be done with it"

"Would you want that?" Shane demands

"Yeah" he nods his head "and I'd thank you while you did it"

"When hunting an animal" Felis says "You never show yourself, you kill them from a distance"

"Jim may say he's fine now" looking over at him and how he's sweating "but this infection will kill him and before any of you say anything, no amount of magic will be able to help him. That is delving into the dark arts and it's a life for a life. A living life, not a walker life since they are already considered dead"

"I agree with them" Dale says "no matter how much I detest the idea of killing another human being, it's more humane to end Jim right now instead of prolonging the event"

"Jim's not some monster or some rabid dog" Rick argues "he's still talking and awake, he is sick man. A sick sick man, where do we cross the line?"

"No walkers" Daryl reminds him "or walkers to be"

"What if we can get them help?" Rick looks at Felix "what if the CDC is still working? I heard they were working on a cure and Felix? You have a degree in medicine and Phoenix? you have a degree in biochemistry"

"Depends" Felix says 

"If they are working on a cure" Shane argues "it'll be in Fort Benning"

Felix and I share a look as Lori complains "That's a hundred miles away"

"Exactly" he insists "but it'll be safe. Military protection and"

"It's a fools errand and more people would be alive if you hadn't convinced people that Phoenix['s barrier would last forever" Felix cuts off Shane "and no one here has food and last I checked you humans need food, like right now. We hear the stomachs growling"

"Amy" Andrea looks to us "told us how you're planning on going to Carrington Mansion"

"A mansion?" Lori asks

"Oh yeah" Glenn nods his head "I once catered there and it has a large gate, next to a lake"

"It'll be a temporary fix" not wanting Shane to know too much about the plan "Look if we go to the CDC, we need to make sure it's not going to blow up"

"Blow up?" Morales asks

We nod our heads "The CDC holds the world's deadliest diseases, something they won't want exposed to the public no matter what is going on"

"Stay here" Felix orders the huamns

"Don't" 

"Shut up Shane" Rick snapped, I think the pent up anger and aggression that Rick has been holding onto for Shane and Lori is now starting to show "Felix and Phoenix have done nothing but help when they didn't need to, you need to shut up and listen. You didn't need to come with, you and Lori could have left but decided to stay. So shut the fuck up"

Looking around the group "You all stay here"

We go to the CDC and here we see the gates are closed, Felix goes to the keypad and presses in a key code causing the doors to open. We go into the building and look around "Felix?"

Shaking his head no "No one's here" 

We go outside after checking the place and I wave for them to come in, they all run into here with their things "The energy needs to be spared" I tell them as we head down to the cafeteria "only a week left of energy before the place goes kaboom"

"So they're at Fort Benning" Shane nods his head

Rolling my eyes, he can go to Fort Benning, "You can go to Fort Benning" Nessie tells him "we are not following you"

"Good" he comments
