People who are nearby watch shocked, while I get into my jeep after putting my surf board away. Bella came here with one of the others so no point in trying to find her.

Staring at Phoenix then to the vampire snarling, the vampire just leans against the jeep with his arms crossed. As the others arrive, Phoenix screams "STAY AWAY FROM MY GRANDFATHER!"

I yelp in pain as a gunshot is heard, looking over seeing Phoenix holding a gun. She has it pointed at me then to Sam and Jared who stare at her then to the vampire "Stay" she orders us "away from my grandfather"

I try to get closer but the two get into the jeep, a loud yelp is heard from me as the jeep drives over my bones and sickening cracks are heard. I watch, tears running down my face as this brewing rage fills me when that vampire drives off with my imprint.

Shifting back into my human form, Jared and Sam appear next to me "He took her..."

"Don't worry Paul" Sam assures me "we'll prove to her how vampires are not to be trusted"
