Aphmau's pov

I told Laurence I was fine but deep down I didn't want to live. After Laurence left I mumbled to myself "I don't need love." I stood up from the bench and my foot had a light stinging pain but not bad.

I felt depressed but I couldn't let that get in my way of being lord. I decided not to acknowledge Garroth anymore unless necessary. I waled into my house and found Malachi looking at me and he looked upset.

"Mom? Why did Garroth say that?"It doesn't matter Malachi lets just ignore what he said." I patted his head and went upstairs. I wanted to know why he said that. What did I do wrong?"

Garroth's pov

'Laurence kissed Aphmau?' These words surrounded my mind and I wondered 'He kissed her and she didn't kiss him back?' I gasped and thought it could be true. "No! Why?!"

I started to yell and I grabbed chunks of my hair in my fist and looked to the ground in frustration. I needed to tell her how I really felt but......what will she say? Even though she practically confessed I couldn't do that.

I was pacing the sidewalk trying to choose between going to Aphmau's house or hiding. I couldn't take it. I ran to her house and frantically knocked on the door.

Laurence' pov

I saw Garroth at Aphmau's door I knew it. She did tell him. I smiled sadly but I'm happy. Hopefully they will work out together. I saw Dante stroll up and I walked over to him and said "Hey Dante? Wanna go train?"Sure!"

We trained for a little and as we where training he said "Why did Garroth say that?"To hide his feelings kya!" I jumped forward and Dante dodged. We shared jokes and out of know where he said "Laurence I need advice."

"Hmm?" I looked at him and he lowered his sword. "Um, can you help me out?"With what?" I asked him and his face was bright red like a tomato. "I-I think I like-"Heeyy Laurence~kun and Dante~kun!"

Dante stopped talking and Kawaii~chan came strolling up. She looked really happy and Dante was blushing. 'Ohh I get it.' I looked at Dante and smirked and let out a little laugh and when he saw me he looked away.

"U-um I'm going to go train now." Dante tried to leave but I grabbed his arm and made him stop.
