Aphmau's pov

I ran as fast as I could to the guard tower my heart was racing and I felt nervous just barging in on Garroth why he was hurt but I couldn't stop myself now. I was inside and I stopped at the ladder.

I looked up and reached my hand out and grabbed one of the bars of the ladder. I climbed and climbed and when I reached the top I saw Garroth sitting on a bed looking out the window.

I smiled to see he was okay. "Garroth?" He turned around and had a weak smile on his face. He looked tired and pained. "Garroth are you okay?"Yeah I think." He let out a small laugh and then clutched his chest in pain.

"Garroth I'm so sorry it's all my fault." I started to cry and I hugged him. "Lady Aphmau it's not your fault you didn't know this would happen." He stroked my hair gently and I felt something warm touch my head.

"D-did you just kiss me?"No, but I will if you want me too?" My face burned red and I didn't want him to see so I just hugged him and placed my head gently on his heart. "I-I'm fine thank you.

Garroth's pov

When Lady Aphmau hugged me my heart started to race and I tried to act as calm as possible and hugged her back. Then she started blaming herself for what happened and none of it was true.

I stroked her hair and planted a small kiss on her head. I saw her blush "Does that mean she likes me?" I thought, but that would be to good to be true. I lied about me kissing her and I don't know why I asked her if she wanted me to.

She laid her had gently on my heart and I blushed at my words and how close she was. But I continued to stroke her hair. I wanted this moment to last forever but like always good dream it has to end.

I knew if Lady Aphmau stayed near me she would be in danger. I had decided to leave as soon as I was able to walk. I wanted her to stay in my arms but soon I would never feel her warmth again.

Laurence' pov

I left Aphmau's house and Zoey gave me pancakes 'again' it seams like everytime I see Zoey she has pancakes. I shrugged my shoulders and walked down the path and came across the guard tower.

I got there at the wrong time, I looked up at the window and saw Garroth kiss Aphmau's head. I felt my heart break a little but Aphmau looked happy. I didn't want to take that away from her but it still hurt.

I continued down the path and looked to the Lady Irene statue at the top of the hill. "Maybe I'll make a stop?" I walked up the stairs and the Lady Irene statue shined as the sun set.
