Aphmau's pov

I was so scared I wanted to hold Levin and Malachi in my arms again. I remembered there happy faces as I walked into the house. I wanted to go home. I then heard a door creak open and I saw an O'kasas guard, he walked in and I could see a smirk form on his face through his helmet.

I trembled and he unlocked the door and stepped inside, I tried to get my hands and feet free but all the chains did was create a rash on my skin. I screamed "Help! Somebody please!"

He covered my mouth and unlocked the chains and grabbed my arm and said "Just shut up and come with me!" He sounded angry and I shook. He gagged my mouth and threw me over his shoulder.

Garroth's pov

It was five days since we last saw Lady Aphmau. We searched and searched but couldn't find any trace. Dante was searching the waters with Lady Katelyn. We had teams divided up in five different groups searching each town every inch but she was nowhere.

I could walk now but I could only do so much I could patrol for about half an hour but then need to rest. Today, as I was walking around where Zane took Aphmau I saw something sticking out of the sand.

I picked it up and it was a piece of armor. "I swear I've seen this armor before?" It wasn't mine and I stumbled to walk back to the guard tower. When I got inside Dale told me that Laurence was at Aphmau's house.

I went there and Zoey let me in. I walked upstairs and heard Laurence talking. I opened the door and he looked behind him. "Laurence...." I said and held out the chunk of armor. Laurence turned pale and said "No, no not, not Aphmau.

Laurence' pov

When I saw Malachi looking upset that it was me I leaned over and asked "Malachi do you know what is happening?"Yes I do, I just wish I was a ghost again I could've showed Zane his fear and.......and mom would be safe.

"Malachi none of this is your fault."I know but it feels like it was." He started to cry and I hugged him. "Brober why you cry, where mama?" Levin looked upset but he wasn't old enough to know what was happening yet.

I then heard the door to the room open and I saw Garroth. I looked at him and he held out a piece of armor that looked way too familiar. I felt the blood drain from my face and I took the armor piece in my hand.

"No, no not, not Aphmau?" I didn't want it to be true but this was serious we needed to find Zane now!

The armor was the worst creature ever the thing that tried to take me and kill Aphmau..........it was shadow knight armor.
