Aphmau's pov

I walked away from Laurence feeling bad that I couldn't tell him what happened. I walked through the forest and sighed. "What if what Garroth said was true?" I asked myself this in search for an answer.

'Does he really............love.........me?' I thought and looked at my hands. I shook my head trying to get rid of the thought and kept walking. I decided to walk outside the walls and into the forest.

The forest floor was covered in roots and I tripped a few times. I didn't know where I was going but as long as I was alone I would be fine till dark. I continued to dodge the roots until all of a sudden when I jumped in the air to get over the root an actual root shot up from the ground and wrapped around my ankle.

Garroth's pov

I started to wobble and I started to fall. I was ready for impact from the ground so I closed my eyes but I felt myself leaning. I opened my eyes and saw Laurence and Logan were holding me up.

My mind felt fuzzy and I couldn't think straight. "Hick."You know what hick, hurts?"Garroth you need to take it easy, Logan Go get Donna."Sure" Logan ran off and Laurence helped me onto the bed Donna uses for healing.

Everything was blurry and I got mad at myself. "Why did I do that to Aphmau!? It was so stupid!"Garroth calm down." I could barely hear Laurence speak. "I just deserve to die!" I pulled out my sword and before Laurence could grab it I was about to stab myself when I heard a loud scream.

It was Lady Aphmau.

Laurence' pov

I watched Garroth start to fall and I quickly grabbed him helping him back up. 'He drank to much' I thought in my head. I ordered Logan to get Donna and he ran off fast. I dragged Garroth to the table and laid him on it.

I sighed and shook my head. Garroth started yelling at himself and then he said he deserves to die?! Before I had time to react his sword was already out but we both froze when we heard a scream from outside of the walls.

It looked like Garroth had snapped out of his drunkenness and he looked pale. "Lady Aphmau!" He jumped off the bed and ran to the gates. I ran after him with my sword drawn. 'Why is Aphmau outside of the gates?' I thought to myself.
