Aphmau's pov

Zane raised the sword and pushed the potion on Garroths back. Before I knew it I saw the sharpest part of the sword sticking out of Garroth's chest. The potion turned out to be a potion of poison and it leaked into the wound.

Zane pulled back his sword and swiped it down flinging the lingering blood on the sand. I pushed forward and the guards hand slipped from my mouth and I screamed at the top of my lungs "GARROTH!?"

The guard quickly covered my mouth again and I heard Laurence' voice yell "Lady Aphmau?!"Let's go!" Zane ran inside of the boat and I was dragged inside.

Garroth's pov

I felt the sharpness of the blade and I looked down to see the blade went through the middle of my chest. I felt the rush of poison go through my blood. After the sword left my body I couldn't stand so I let myself fall to the ground.

I lay on the ground and I heard Aphmau scream my name, I reached my arm trying to help her but the poison was making the sword wound worst. Poison burned through my blood.

I saw the boat start to leave "No, no, Lady Aph....mau" my voice trailed off and I slowly started to lose cautiousness the only thing I heard before I blanked out was the sound of metal footsteps.

Laurence' pov

I was walking around the village thinking of a way to apologize to Lady Aphmau. I decided to go to her house, I walked to the door and knocked......no answer, "She always answers?"

I didn't get it was she not home? I knocked again, nothing. Is she not home? I turned around to leave when I saw a sight I would never forget Zane........stabbed Garroth and I heard Aphmau scream his name.

She was being kidnapped by Zane. My legs were shaking so much I couldn't watch. "No, this isn't happening Aph-Aphmau!" I ran to the docks but it was too late Zane's boat was already on its way to O'kasas.

I looked to Garroth and saw he was hurt. I saw a potion bottle smashed on his back, I could tell from the smell it was a strong poison. I grabbed Garroth's arm and put it around my shoulder.

I knew it was too late to run after Aphmau but I promised myself I would protect her. I drug Garroth to the plaza and when everybody saw me they froze looking shocked. "Help!"

Dale snapped out of his drunkenness and him and Brian ran to my aid. They helped Garroth off my shoulder and Dale said "You explain, we take Garroth to the guard tower."

I nodded quickly and Dale and Brian took Garroth to the tower. Donna ran up to me in a panic and said "Laurence what happened." I was too mad to answer and she saw that I clenched my fist so tight that it was shaking.
