Aphmau's pov

I yawned and lied down in bed but as soon as I closed my eyelids I was awake I couldn't sleep. I got out of bed and changed into my normal purple uniform. Zoey wasn't back with the kids yet and I couldn't go back to the plaza because I was way too embarrassed.

I walked sluggishly down the stairs and went outside. I could see the plaza from the hill my house is on and I saw Dale dancing on one of the tables with "rootbeer" in his hand. I smiled, I was happy everyone was having a good time.

I was looking at Phoenix Drop and then saw a small boat arrive at the docks. I looked to the docks and was in a panic I never got word that someone was visiting. I wondered if it was Katelyn but she didn't need to use a small boat.

Curiosity got the better of me and I walked cautiously to the docks. I reached the beach and someone I never thought would ever show their face again after what happened with Scaleswind.

It was Zane, he got out of the boat and gave me a wicked grin. I took a step back startled and he laughed evilly and said "There is no running Lord Aphmau." He took a step forward and I turned to run but before I knew it I felt a presence behind me and I saw Zane's devilish grin. 

"H-hemph!!" I went to scream but Zane's large hands covered my mouth and his other hand grabbed my arm and I was forcefully pulled up against Zane.

Garroth's pov

I was walking around the first guard tower and I heard a muffled scream near the docks, I was already at the top of the tower and I looked out and saw Aphmau.......and Zane.

My expression turned grim and I pulled out my sword. I yelled as I ran to Aphmau "Zane! Let go of her!" When he saw me he smiled and pushed Aphmau aside and an O'kasas guard caught her.

"Let her go!" I stood there with my sword drawn and Zane laughed "Just try and make me." I ran to Zane and slashed my sword through the air and it glistened in the moonlight.

Zane dodged like it was natural and I kept trying to hit him with the mighty diamond blade. I was at this for awhile now and I was running out of breath but Zane didn't look tired at all.

This was all the power I had left I looked at Aphmau and she looked terrified and tears were in the corner of her eyes. I couldn't let this happen I ran towards Zane and barley grazed his shoulder as he dodged.

Aphmau's pov

Garroth and Zane where fighting and I wanted to help but the guards strength was too overpowering. I then saw as Garroth missed his last move that Zane polled something out of his pocket, it was a potion.

Zane took a step foreword and put the potion on Garroth's back and then I saw something black raise up in Zane's hand, it was a sword. It happened so fast that if you blinked you would miss it.
