Aphmau's pov

That laugh was way to familiar but I couldn't move my head to were it was coming from. I tried to move but the tree squeezed harder. I wasn't able to breath and I felt myself growing dizzy.

My vision blurred and I started to cough but because the roots were covering my mouth it came out as a cough out my nose and it hurt. I started choking on my cough and it made me cough even more.

I felt like I was suffocating and it hurt. Then I heard Garroth yell my name "Aphmau!?"Heheheh" 'That laugh!?' I thought that and looked through my blurred vision and saw the man I hated most. He laughed and walked closer.

Garroth's pov

"A High Priest?!" I looked at Laurence and he looked mad. "Aphmau!?" I yelled her name but she didn't yell back, I knew she was in trouble. "I shouldn't have let her go!" I was getting frustrated and I ran off into the woods.

"Garroth wait?!" Laurence chased after me and the tree's kept throwing branches our way and we dodged. I pulled my sword down cutting through the branches and the Ents let out a sound of pain.

I knew Ents were legendary creatures but I couldn't let them give my Lady to Zane. That's when I saw it, Zane was right there standing in front of Aphmau. I felt anger bubble up inside me.

Laurence' pov

'Not Zane again!' I yelled this in my head and Garroth looked upset. He looked at me and I said "Yeah, lets do it." He nodded and Garroth yelled "Zane!?"Can't you just die!?" Zane had shouted and he glared at me.

His glare made a chill run down my spine and I readied my sword. Zane sighed and Garroth and I ran towards Zane. He moved his hand in the air and the ground started to rumble, I started to lose my balance but kept my footing.

Then a loud crashing noise came from the ground and roots shot up and wrapped around Garroth and I. "No! L-let go!" I had dropped my sword and Zane scoffed. "You two are very stupid. You fell for my trap."

His devilish smile was all I saw before the branch squeezed so tight it took all my breath away. I felt dizzy and my mind became blank. My vision grew dark and I my head dropped down.
