Jess walked down stairs and started to eat breakfast with the guys, "Jin you may want to open the portal" Jess sighed as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

"No need today Jess!" Max smiled, Jess looked at Adam and Max who were both cheery and happy, "Why are you guys getting along?" Jess questioned.

"We don't want to fight today" Adam smiled as he wrapped his arm around Max's shoulder, Max doing the same thing to Adam. "Ok," Jess smiled confusingly.

After breakfast, Jess went back upstairs and got dressed into a cook cat sweater, galaxy shirt, blue jeans and her American flag converse. she brushed her hair and went downstairs to see the guys gathered around the door in a circle whispering to each other.

"What are you guys doing?" she asked as she stepped down the last step. The guys bolted their heads up and looked at her "Nothing!" they cried. "Ok then" she mumbled.

She pushed past them and opened the door showing a startled Garroth, "H-Hey Jess" he laughed, "Oh Hey Garroth" Jess smiled, the guys peered over her shoulder to see who it was.

"Here these are for you" He smiled, he pulled out a bokay of purple and blue flowers wrapped in a lightly yellow plastic at the bottom.

"Oh, Garroth there beautiful" Jess cried holding the flowers in her hands.

The guys grumbled as she smelt the scent of the flowers Garroth gave her."Hey Jess" someone else said, she looked up and saw Laurence shoving past Garroth, "Have these" he smiled handing her a box full of chocolates, "Oh! Thanks, Laurence" she giggled.

"Laurence?!" garroth cried, "That's my name" he smirked, "I was wondering if you wanted me to walk you to school," Laurence asked Jess, "I was going to ask her that!!" Garroth cried, Laurence and Garroth soon started to fight with each other.

"Common Jess!!" the guys said grabbing her by the arms and dragging her away, "Wait! What about Garroth and Laurence?" she asked looking back to them, "They'll be fine" Adam said.

Soon they made it to school and they walked through the gates, Jess didn't notice but all the boys around were watching her holding gifts but ran away when they saw Jin and Max death glaring them.

"Bye, guys! I'm gonna go sit with the girls!" Jess smiled as she ran to the table leaving the guys. She slid to the table and at next to Lucinda who was eating some cookies.

"I see your popular huh Jess" Lucinda smirked looking at the bokay and chocolate she had in her hands. "What do you mean?" Jess questioned, "Lucinda means this" Emmalyn said sliding a slip of paper over to their side of the table.

She looked at the slip of paper and read it out loud, "Get a date and come to the yearly dance of the phoenix?" she said in a confused tone.

"It's the annual dance of the phoenix! people ask their crush to the dance and you get a chance to be the king and queen of the dance!" Lucinda exclaimed.

"Why does this explain things for me, though?" jess questioned, "Is she really that dance?" Ivy questioned, "All the guys have a crush on you, Jess! and that's why all the guys are trying to give you things! so you will pick them" Lucinda explained.

~earlier~

As Jess went upstairs the guys gathered around, "Ok Men we need a battle plan" Jin exclaimed, "Today is the 2nd last day before the dance, meaning all the boys in the school will be asking out the girls" Jin explained, "And as our information shows more than 63% of the school has a crush on Jess" he said pulling out a pie chart.

"We need to protect Jess!" Adam said, "But how?" Ross questioned, "Death glare everyone" Max smirked, "What are you guys doing?" Jess questioned as she came down the stairs.

Adam kicked over the pie chart which tumbled over the coach before they headed to school.

"this explains why the guys acted so weird this morning, and why Garroth and Laurence both came to my door" she sighed, "You got both Garroth and Laurence to give you gifts!?" Lucinda cried falling off the chair.

"Yes why?" she questioned, "Garroth and Laurence are THE MOST popular boys in the school!" Lucinda cried, "are you jealous Lucinda?" Ivy asked, "Pfft! No!" she said crossing her arms.

"Why would she be jealous?" Jess asked naively "Lucinda is always the queen of the Dance and seaming as your new at this school this is your first dance. Pick your partner wisely" Emmalyn smirked as she looked down to her book about Irene.

"Im here!" cried a voice, they turned to the side and saw Kiki carrying a basket of cookies and holding a teddy bear in her arms. "Morning Kiki" Jess smiled, "What are those?" Ivy asked, "Oh! Gifts" she smiled, "From who?" Lucinda smirked.

"um... Boldolf" she blushed, "You mean that werewolf in the senior year?" Emmalyn asked. "Yeah! He comes to the farm and helps out with the ducklings sometimes" Kiki Smiled. "Aww, gentle giant" Jess giggled "More like beauty and the beast" Lucinda laughed.

"Anyways, Lucinda do you have a date?" Jess asked, "In a matter of fact I do!" she cried "Who then?" Ivy asked, "Travis" she mumbled. "You mean the pervert who's on the swim team?" Jess questioned, "Yes!" she cried.

"Couldn't get anyone else huh Lucy?" asked as a voice coming up from behind "Oh shut up Katlyn, I'm sure you couldn't get anyone better" Lucinda cried.

"Actually I did" she smirked waving a blue card in the air, "OH My Irene! Who asked you?" Ivy asked, "Max" Katlyn blushed, "Ahh! Our Ship!" Kiki and Jess exclaimed. "Ugh! Why does everyone have the best dates!" Lucinda mumbled.

"I don't have a date yet" Emmalyn pointed out, "That's right! Yay!" Lucinda cried, "No offence" she giggled. "H-Hey Emmalyn?" Asked a voice. they looked at the male figure next to the table.

"Oh, Greetings Kenmur" Emmalyn smiled, "E-Emmalyn I would L-Like to ask you if you would accompany me to the dance of the phoenix as my d-date" he stuttered, "Why should I?" she asked bluntly, "Here" he said shoving a book next to her with a card saying "For Emmalyn" on it.

It was about the history of Irene and it was a very rare addition. "Where did you get this?!" she cried, "I asked Jin and the guys about their life and how Irene was" he laughed as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Emmalyn stood up and hugged him "I agree to your terms" she giggled. A hard blush appeared on his face, "T-Thank you!" he cried as he ran away.

"Aww Cuties" Kiki Giggled, "Common!" Lucinda cried smashing her head on the table "I don't plan on having anyone going with me and even if I did i wouldn't expect" Ivy laughed, "Why?" Jess questioned, "Relationships end, they get in the way and they give me less time to hang with the best best friends I could ever have" She smiled as she slung her arm over Katlyn and Kiki's shoulders.

And so it happened, the ball went but what Jess didn't know is that the next day is going to be hell and heaven wrapped in a weird borito wrap.
