"We need to find out what's wrong with Jess and Zane" Katlyn cried standing up "Won't work" Jin spoke "Why not?!" she cried. "I've known Jess most of my life and the one thing you should know about her is that she will not tell you anything when it comes to secrets" Jin explained.

"Why don't we just spy on her?" Ivy requested "That sounds like fun" Garroth smiled. soon they were following Jess around the school, they sat outside the classroom waiting for her to come out so they could keep following her.

"Guys?" Emmalyn spoke "Yeah?" Adam responded, "Where did she go?" Emmalyn said, they peeked their heads in the window and saw only the teacher left in the classroom.

~With Jess~

"Bye miss!" she called as she walked out the room, she had her bag over her shoulder as she skipped to the music room. she walked through greeting Mr Reatano the music teacher.

She took her guitar out of the case and lightly strummed the strings with her fingertips. suddenly the door opened and in rushed Zane. Zane went to a bag which was left in the corner of the room. he looked up and blushed.

"Oh hi, Zane!" Jess popped as she waved "J-Jess! What are you doing here?" he questioned, "jamming on my guitar" she smiled strumming the guitar.

"Do you mind if I play something?" Zane asked. "Go ahead" Jess exclaimed as she handed him the guitar. he placed a sheet of paper on the floor next to him as he sat against the wall looking at it and looking back at the guitar strings.

"Oh! I know this song, mind if I sing it?" Jess asked, "Sure" Zane blushed. he strummed his fingers on the guitar and started.

Zane looked up to the girl and they both looked away with a blush on their cheeks, "Y-Your a good singer" Zane complimented "You are to" Jess smiled.

~The others~

"Where could they be?!" Laurence cried, "Do you guys hear that?" Ivy questioned, they all looked through a window to find Zane and Jess both singing a love song together.

"That's it, my chances of being with her are over" Laurence cried sliding down the wall. "Get up man we can't give up now!" Garroth yelled pulling him back.

~Back with Jess~

"They're watching us," Jess said not looking at the window "I know" Zane sighed "We're gonna have to explain won't we?" Zane asked, "Yep" Jess sighed.

jess stood up and turned to the window "I know you're there" she hissed. "We've been caught! Go! Go! Go!" Ross yelled as the guys ran away leaving the girls and Max standing at the window.

"Jess why are you hanging out with ZANE?!" Katlyn questioned, "Yeah he's a shadow night and he tried to kill you" Lucinda pointed out "Plus he's kinda scary," Kiki said. "I'm right here" Zane waved.

"He's a nice guy!" Jess protested, "Name one nice thing he's done" Lucinda smirked as she crossed her arms. "Zane helped me carry my shopping even though he didn't have to" Jess smirked back as she crossed her arms.

"I'm gonna go" Zane mumbled as he shifted his bag strap over his shoulder as he walked out the door, shutting it behind him as he left. As Jess started to pack her guitar back into her purple guitar case she spoke "He's kinder than he seems" she mumbled before leaving.

The boy went to Jess to talk to her "Why are you hanging out with him?" Max asked, "yeah isn't he supposed to be evil?" Jin clarified Jess looked at her feet.

Soon the girls started to harass her but she still didn't respond "Guys stop" Ivy spoke, "Why?" Laurence questioned, "Jess forgave me because she saw something in ME," Ivy said, "Why can't you respect her decision" Ivy questioned as she hugged Jess around the shoulders and walked away.

"Don't let them bother you, I'm sure Zane is kinder than he looks and I'm sure I can get used to him" She smiled. "Thanks, Ivy" Jess exclaimed.

~With Zane~

Zane walked up the hill with his hands in his pockets, "Yo Zane!" called a voice "Where were you?" Lilian asked, "Yeah you were just getting your bag right ~Nya~" Michi questioned "I got a little preoccupied" Zane blushed slightly but they couldn't see that because he had his mask on.

"Ok let's go" Sasha spoke, "Where are we going?" Zane asked, "Were skipping and going to the court yard" Lilian explained. and so they all snuck through the school to skip class in the courtyards.
