Aphmau pov

"MOM PLEASE WAKE UP I NEED YOU I NEED YOU PLEASE!"

I was to late she passed away from bloodloss I started to cry. I was old enough to understand death I was 6. This happened when we were walking through the woods someone shot her with an arrow in the stomach. I had knw one left my father left us when I was 2 and I didn't know why. I was an only child my mother was the lord of the village so someone would have to take her place since i'm too young.

"Aphmau it's okay everyone loved her and now since that happened we have to prepare a barrial.....i'm sorry aphmau."

I staid silent I didn't want to talk I lost the only family I had left it didn't help that i'm gonna be taken care of by a stranger.

"Come you need a care taker to watch you okay so come."

Everyone wanted to take care of me which was really surprising I don't know why. When I walked though the village I felt people staring at me and I didn't like it. All the way to the care takers house I felt so many stares and heard many wispers like.

'Why is she walking with a maid?'

'Did her family disown her?'

'Is she sad?'

'Did something happen to her mom?'

When we finally reached the care taker's house I walked in and I slammed the door everybody jumpedand looked at me.

"Aphmau why are you here shouldn't you be at lord--"

"She died we were in the forest walking.....then out of nowhere an....arrow was shot it hit.......my mom in the stomach............she died of bloodloss."

My voice was craking and I was crying know one has ever seen my cry that wasn't the staff or my mom everyone has only seen me happy and smiling NEVER sad.......until today.

"....Look i'm sorry but why are you here?"

"One of the maids walked me here since you have more experience with kids than the staff I told them I was fine but they didn't listen....."

I trailed off in my thoughts thinking about so many questions that I didn't know the answer to till someone stopped them.

"Um who are you? I never saw you before are you new here?"

He kept asking questions and more questions till he finally asked what my name was.

"My name is Aphmau."

His eyes widded in shock when he relized he was staring at me he apologized.

"I-i'm so sorry I didn't meen to stare I was...I didn't......please-"

"Okay okay I get it your sorry you didn't relize it's okay. What did you think I would do send you to prison?!"

"M-mabye I-i don't know I never knew somebody from your status would talk to someone like me......a nobody."

"I wasn't raised like that i'm not spoiled or anything to be honest......I never had a friend before."

His eyes were filled with absolute shock.

"WHAT REALLY YOU NEVER HAD A FRIEND BEFORE?!"

"Yes."

"Well id ir's okay can I be your first friend?"he fliched as id I was gonna say 'no'

"OF COURSE YOU CAN!!"

"REALLY YES!!"
