Aphmau pov

I followed steven to a building that looked very cheerfull we both walked in and he started talking to a lady. She looked at steven than me than back at steven. He left I was standing there confused on what just happened.

"So Aphmau was it? Well come your gonna stay here until someone adopts you,okay?"

"O-okay."

"Well come lets introduce you to everyone." She said grabing my hand.

We walked into a room with talking,and giggles from other kids.

"Hello everyone I want to introduce someone to all of you!"

"Her name is Aphmau she has been through some pretty tough times so if ahe is having trouble adjusting please help her."

"Okay!"

I was nervous cause I knew non of these people. Than one girl came up to me.

"Hello A-aph-aphmoo!" I giggle at how she said my name.

"Sorry she can't say very hard names." Said a boy

"It's okay I know it's hard to say."

"Actually it isn't....well for me."

"So what are both of your names?" I asked

"Well my name is Joe and this girl who can't say your name is-"

"Sam!" Said the girl

"Actually it's Samantha but she thought is was too hard to say so she asked everyone to call her Sam." Said Joe

Sam then got angery and told Joe that she didn't want people to think she's dumb. When she was done yelling she was in tears my instincts kicked in and tried tried to comfort her.

"Don't be sad he never ment to hurt your feelings,right Joe?" I asked

"Yes I never ment to make you cry." He said looking down

"Also your not dumb I say names wrong sometimes..........okay I want to tell you both a secret." I said

"What is it." They both asked.

"Well when I was 4 I could NEVER say anything that had an S it was hard for a little while I thought I was the most dumb kid in the world till over time I was able to say the letter S. So Sam may kids think there dumb but there not to please stop being sad?"

"I'm not anymore thank you Aphy." Said Sam

"Wait Aphy?" Asked Joe

"Yeah,if it's okay to call you that?" She asked me

"I don't mind." I said

"Thank you Aphy!!" Sam said as she tackled me with a hug.
