based off a fic i read on tumblr 🤭

spider-man au (or a different hero is fine too)

person a and person b have been dating for a few months now. the time together had been wonderful so far, with lots of flowers, quality time, and trust. with everything seeming too good to be true, these happy moments come to a suspicious halt as person a continues to cancel or leave early from person b. getting suspicious, person b thinks that their significant other is cheating on them.

the assumption was far from the truth. after another short date, person b was walking home alone when a couple of hoodlums chased them into an alley. scared and alone, person b didn't know what to do as they became cornered. as the hoodlums crept closer, another shadow came down from behind them.

"why don't you pick on somebody your own size?" the voice spoke. everyone turned, and there stood a masked person in red and blue, black designs shaped like a web all over the costume. the same mask that was all over the news, saving people from threats similar to what person b was stuck in at the moment.
