Backstory: He used to live in Tu'la,  until he was banned and thrown out to sea.  He and his best friend.  They drifted out to a island 50 miles or so away from Tu'la.  They found other Meif'wa outlaws their and soon started their kingdom.  When Ruby and Ryu immigrated to their island,  Shawn instantly fell in love.
