Thunderstorms - [2P NiChu]
A loud rumbling noise was heard outside the 2P Asian family's house. Hearing the sound caused the Japanese man to jump, sitting up quickly. This was then followed a few seconds later by a bright light flashing across and lighting the sky. A shiver ran down his spine as he curled into a ball, wrapping multiple blankets around him for protection. Another loud roar of thunder was heard, again followed by the flashing light in the sky. The small male let out a quiet sound, crawling back further into a corner. Memories flooded his mind, his red eyes widened with fear as he watched the storm from outside the window.
Rain was pounding off the windows, the thunder and lightning continued. The male still curled in a corner, mumbling quietly to himself. A door slowly opened, a shadowy figure entered the room.
"Kuro, are you in here?" A voice asked. The figure continued to walk through the dark room, obviously searching for a light switch. The one named Kuro was still hidden in the corner of the room, to afraid to speak up. After finally finding and turning on the light switch the room was lit up by a bright light. Kuro then looked up from his curled up position to see a male standing by his door.
"X-Xiao...?" Kuro asked in a quiet and shaky voice. Suddenly the sound sky outside was again lit by what seemed to be a white curtain of lightning, which was of course followed by the thunder. Kuro jumped slightly at the sight and sound, tightly curling into a ball again, he hated that the thunder storm scared him but it wasn't his fault. Xiao of course knew why Kuro hated thunderstorms which is why he came to check on him as soon as he heard the thunder.
The Chinese man calmly walked over to his little brother who was still shaking in fear. He gently placed a hand on his shoulder, causing the younger to quickly look up.
"Come on Kuro, stand up."
Xiao said then held out a hand to help his brother to stand. Kuro took his brother's hand and stood up quickly clinging onto Xiao. The older brother smiled gently and hugged back, trying to calm his younger brother.
"The storm is apparently going to last all night Kuro. Will you be okay here or do you want to stay with me?"
Xiao's room was only down the hall but he knew Kuro wasn't going to want to be alone during a thunderstorm. Kuro then quietly mumbled the words,
"Stay with you..."
"Alright, come on."
Xiao pulled away from the hug, Kuro still fearing the thunderstorm decided to cling onto Xiao's arm, following him to his room. Xiao opened the door to his room, walking towards the bed Kuro had let go of his brother's arm after entering the room. Xiao flipped on a small light and shifted across to the right side of his bed. He then patted the part beside him telling Kuro to lie down, Xiao wasn't actually tired and wanted to make sure his little brother got enough sleep so he was planning to stay awake most of the night. Kuro slowly lay down beside Xiao, who was now sitting up. Another flash of lightning appeared in the sky, Kuro again began to cling to Xiao, wrapping his arms around his waist hugging him tightly. Xiao placed a hand on Kuro's back and began to try and calm him down again. After about an hour had past Kuro was sleeping peacefully, still clinging onto Xiao's arm. Xiao smiled seeing his brother had finally calmed down. The older brother fell asleep seconds later.
Once morning came Kuro's eyes slowly opened and he sat up.
"Where...am I?"
"Morning Kuro, you're up early today."
Xiao said with a smile, walking into the room. Kuro gave him a confused look, after a few seconds the younger brother suddenly remembered what happened yesterday. He huffed quietly and crossed his arms.
"You tell NO ONE about this, Xiao."
Kuro said causing Xiao to chuckle. Kuro was not one who liked people knowing his fears or weaknesses.
"Hey! Don't laugh, I'm being serious!"
Kuro complained with a glare, Xiao rolled his eyes, chuckling again while turning around about to leave.
"I know I know, now come on you're sister has breakfast ready."
Kuro rolled his eyes, got up and dusted himself off then followed Xiao out of the room continuing with his day like he usually would, acting as if the whole thunderstorm incident never happened.
