Yusei parked his motorcycle on the side of an old, faded building. Thankfully, there wasn't any cracks on the wall or any wooden planks on the windows. The building just looked abandoned. "This is it," he said to Jaden. "What do you think?"

"It looks awesome!" Jaden exclaimed with a sparkle in his eyes. "How did you get this place?"

"I was looking around the city for places that I could do work when I moved here," Yusei explained. "When I went to check for places here, I found this building. No one wanted it because it was close to a bad part of town."

"And you were okay with getting this place anyway?"

"Yup. It was the closest place I could find to the apartment complex, and at a young age I've learned to fend for myself. So, I was fine with this place. But I'm more worried about anyone else that visits here, especially you."

"Why me?" Yusei turned to Jaden to answer the question, and saw the latter person's innocent-looking face. Yusei didn't think that Jaden knew any self-defense, but he didn't want to say it.

"Just because," Yusei said, walking towards his work place. He got the building's key from his pocket and unlocked the door, opening it and leaving it open for Jaden to walk in. Jaden soon followed Yusei inside and saw how big the workplace was. It was considerably big and empty, with only a few desks and a computer, a table with an engine on top of it, and another motorcycle close to the desks.

"Wow," Jaden said in shock. "There's stuff in here but it looks kind of empty."

"I have to keep up with the rent over at the apartment," Yusei reminded while he went over to one of the desks that has a computer. "I already put some money into this place. The windows, another desk, and that big table was what I bought since I got the place."

"Oh, so you're building up the place slowly....that's pretty awesome!" Jaden went over to the small motorcycle near the set of desks, curious as to what it was doing there. "Is this the motorcycle that you've been testing out its speed?" Jaden asked.

"That's one of them," Yusei answered, getting the computer started up. "I've had a few other ones in the past that I've been testing out the engines and speed chips for fun."

"For fun? You mean this isn't part of your work?"

"No, but I get done with my work first before testing out anything else."

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense...have you considered getting a mini fridge for this place."

"That's actually the next thing I'm going to get because I can't afford to go out to eat all the time."

"Sweet!!" Yusei had to chuckle at Jaden's enthusiasm for a mini fridge in this place. It was then that Yusei had an idea for what his roommate can help him with after the customer comes by for the fixed engine. To him, it would be a good idea but he wasn't sure how Jaden would feel about it.
