"I can't believe you all did a get well note on a piece of notebook paper," Lizzy stated to Jaden, chuckling. "Did you guys have time to get a legit card?"

"Nope!" Jaden laughed. "Will forgot to get one the other day and we had to come up with something on the spot. Thank goodness we thought of using a piece of paper."

"Yeah, but I bet Ali or Mel didn't want to use that, am I right?"

"Totally! They wanted to send you a cute card, but we didn't have time to get some."

"Well, it's a good thing I got cards from them too." Lizzy reached back into the box and took out two small cards, one in a pink envelope and another in a white one with flowers on it. "Somehow they got this type of stationary."

"Oh wow, they gave you cards after all! They didn't tell me that."

"Of course not! It's a girl thing so you don't have to worry about it." The two laughed at Lizzy's comment for a bit.

"Do you still play it?" Jaden asked curiously.

"Play what?" Lizzy repeated, kind of confused as to what he was talking about.

"Your violin! Do you still play your violin?"

"I played it a lot in high school, but I haven't played too much while here in the complex...but I still have it in my room. You wanna see it?"

"Sure!"

Lizzy smiled at his response and ran over to her bedroom. She turned on the light and found the black violin case leaning on a small bookshelf opposite of her bed. "It's been a long time since I got ahold of you," she spoke softly, grabbing the case. "Let's see if you still play as well as I remembered." She walked out of the room with it and went back to the living room. "I got it!" she announced to Jaden. "I'm gonna check if it still plays good." She then began to open the case.

"It sure has been awhile since I've seen you play it," Jaden noted as he watched her take out the dark brown instrument. "Are you sure that it still plays well?"

"Who knows?" Lizzy admitted with a shrug. "It's probably out of tune. But the violin strings look fine. I'll give it a little test." She carefully put the violin on her left shoulder and placed the bow on its strings, moving it back and forth. She cringed at some of the sounds she made on it. It was definitely out of tune. "Ouch, that hurt my ears!"

"It wasn't that bad..." her friend said with a sweatdrop. "You can always tune it."

"That is true. I'll have to look for my tuner to do that, but let's see if I can do it by ear." Lizzy listened closely to her violin as she gently moved the bow across the strings, making adjustments as she went along. While she did this, Jaden took his focus to the box again to see if he can find anything else that's interesting. After a few minutes of tuning, Lizzy announced, "Okay, I'm ready!"
