"Where are we going again?" Jewel asked Lizzy as they walked down the street. Summer and Keiza followed close behind them.

"We're going to meet my co-worker at the restaurant I work at!" Lizzy exclaimed happily. "I think she's pretty cool and she should be working right now."

"Oh!"

"Is she the only co-worker you work with?" Summer asked too.

"No, but I talk to her more than I do with the others. I'm trying to give her more confidence when talking to people."

"By talking to you?"

"Exactly! She's comfortable with talking to me." As soon as they approached their destination, Lizzy opened the door for her friends and everyone went in. "Hello!" Lizzy said, waving at a few co-workers as she went in. "How are you guys?"

"Good, I guess," one of the co-workers replied with a slight sigh. "You're here as a customer?"

"Yup! We'll go on and take a seat then." The co-worker and nodded as the group of girls went over to a table.

"Where's this waitress?" Keiza questioned, looking around the restaurant.

"Wait for it..." Lizzy said quietly. "She will come with time." After she and the others looked through their menus for a bit, Akane showed up to take their orders, like Lizzy predicted.

"Hello," Akane smiled. "My name is Akane and I will be your server this afternoon. Can I start off with getting your drinks?"

"Lemonade, buddy!" Lizzy smiled, putting her menu down on the table. "But no ice, please." The waitress jolted a bit from seeing Lizzy's face. Akane couldn't see her at first because Lizzy had covered her face with the menu.

"W-What are you doing here, Lizzy?" Akane said with a slight stutter. "Don't you have a day off?"

"I do! But I want to introduce you to some of my buddies that have come to visit." Lizzy turned to Summer, Jewel, and Keiza. "Guys, this is my co-worker Akane. Akane, this is Keiza, Jewel, and Summer. They're my friends from my home outside of the city."

"It's nice to meet you," Akane said, slow enough so that she wouldn't stutter to Lizzy's friends.

"Nice to meet you too!" Jewel said happily with a wave.

"I love your hair," Keiza complimented to Akane.

"Thank y-you," the waitress replied, twirling her red hair a little. "I really like your hair too."

"Thank you!"

"I love all of your hair," Summer said loudly. "Now can we please order our drinks and possibly our food too?" Akane looked at the girl, very confused as to why she was so blunt on wanting food. Keiza and Summer were confused too.

"She's hungry," Lizzy announced to the group. "She is very hungry. I can tell from the look in her eyes."

"Hang on, let me check for a second," Keiza said. She then stared intensely into Summer's eyes, trying to detect what was there and if the girl truly was hungry. After a few minutes of staring, Keiza concluded, "Yeah, she's definitely hungry. She needs food."

"Foooooooooood...." Summer said softly to everyone.

"Oh dear," Lizzy spoke with some concern. "Get this girl a drink and food quick!"

"I'm all for it," Akane added.
