When Lizzy left her apartment to go eat pizza with her friends, she accidentally left her Duel Monster cards. But that was just fine because it allows the monsters to converse with each other, in their spirit forms of course. Then can only appear in the real world if Lizzy was with them. As soon as the girl locked the door, Northwemko came out of her card as a spirit and sighed softly. "Why must the people of this world torment our poor child?" she asked herself, starting to walk around the living room. "She has suffered long enough!" Suddenly, another card spirit came forth, clad with blonde hair, dark armor, a sword on his back, and a blue cape.

"Her power is supposedly feared by most of mankind," the Duel Monster said with his arms crossed. "You are already aware of that, Northwemko."

"Neo, please be more sensible than that!" Northwemko scolded. "Not everyone knows of the Mistress' great gifts."

"That is good, and we are going to keep it that way for the time being." Northewmko groaned and went over to the other Duel Monster, looking at him straight in the eye.

"Have you ever considered the amount of pain she's had to endure to keep this secret?" Northwemko said boldly. "You may have been from her father's deck but I've known this girl ever since she was a little child!"

"I've known of her ever since she was born," Neo stated. He then put both of his arms on her shoulders and spoke gently. "It also pains me to see Lizzy in this current state. But they will not let Lizzy reveal herself to anyone in this city, including her closest friends. For now, we must stay dormant within our cards until they play the card game, just like everyone else."

"But when?" a third Duel Monster asked as she came out of her card. Her appearance was almost exact to Dark Magician Girl's except she looked older, with longer hair, more flashy clothing, and a set of wings on the sides of her headgear. She was called Magician's Valkyria. "When can we roam free in this world with Mistress Lizzy without restrain?" Valkyria added. "We've waited long enough and they won't suspect that Lizzy would use her powers because she is far away from them."

"We do not know how long this will be, Valkyria," Neo replied. "All we can do is wait and hope that everything will be all right. Although we are far from home, Lizzy is still experiencing some paranoia. She fears that they will find out and take everything from her once again." Valkyria frowned at what he said but nodded in agreement. The only thing that they can do is wait. "Oh and by the way, Northwemko?" Neo said.

"Yes?" Northwemko questioned. "What is it?" In turn, Neo punched her arm after letting go of her shoulders.

"That is for earlier!" he proclaimed. "How did she know that we were competing on appearance?"

"Presentation, Neo," Northwemko corrected with a smile. "Mistress Lizzy knew of it the moment I came out of my card. I did my best to convince her otherwise, but she's too smart now."

"I'd have to agree!" Valkyria exclaimed with a grin. "She's all grown up now." Neo laughed at the comment but he knew that was true.

"That's our girl," Neo stated with a smile.
