"Hurry and open the door, my lady," Northwemko said softly. "I will quickly go back into the card for a while."

"But it might just be a random person complaining about another guy across the hall," Lizzy protested, still sitting on the couch as the loud knocking continued. "Then you can just hide."

"My lady, it might be Jaden, who would open the door any any opportune time after you taught him to picklock doors."

"...You're right. Get back in your card, Northy!" Northwemko quickly transported back into her card as Lizzy went to the door.

"Coming!" she exclaimed. She opened the door and there stood another girl. This girl was a bit shorter than Lizzy, with ginger red hair that went only to the middle of her neck. (I made a little drawing of her above if you want to see. It's just how I imagined what she would look like.) She too was wearing a waitress outfit because she so happened to work at the same restaurant that Lizzy works at. "Oh Akane! How may I help you? I'm surprised that you found my apartment."

"Well I got your address from the manager," Akane said softly, looking down on the ground. "You left something back at work today..."

"Oh! What is it?" Akane yelped a bit at Lizzy's response, and she took out a silver key from her pocket.

"This fell out of your backpack," Akane murmured, handing the key to Lizzy.

"Oh, my key!" Lizzy gasped, taking it from her co-worker. "Thank you so much for giving it back to me. I wouldn't know what to do if I lost it..."

"What's the key for?"

"Oh, that's a secret! It's definitely not anything for this apartment. That'll be the only hint I'll give you." Lizzy let out a slight giggle, which made Akane smile softly.

"Well I'll let you get back to what you were doing," Akane said, looking up at her now. "Were you doing anything important?"

"No, I wasn't," Lizzy replied with a sweatdrop. "Just taking it easy from the shift. Need an escort to get you home? I'd be happy to do it."

"Thank you but I'm fine. I actually don't live far from here. So it will be a nice walk. I'll see you tomorrow, Lizzy."

"See ya tomorrow, Akane!" Lizzy waved at her co-worker as the latter went to the stairway and walked down the stairs. Lizzy sighed happily as she closed the door and walked back over to the couch, laying down with a smile on her face.

"Man, she's such a sweetie, Northy," Lizzy smiled. "I love her! She is a little shy but she is one of the kindest girls I've met...aside from Keiza, Beth, Mel-Mel, and other girls I've met. Wait, that'd be a lot. How about I'd say that Akane is one of the kindest girls I've met in this city? Yeah that's way better! Right, Northy?.....Northy??" Lizzy got Northwemko's card from the table and said, "Northwemko? Is everything okay in the card world?" She looked at the card closely and saw that the card was blank with a yellow ting. Lizzy's eyes widen as she murmured, "Oh boy, that's bad." As she said this, a yellow light came from her backpack and Lizzy got a pillow ready, prepared for the worst. "Bring it on," she said.
