"Elemental Hero Neos attacks you directly!" Jaden announced with a cheery grin, looking at the game mat. "Gotcha!"

"Aw man!" Joey said in frustration, throwing down his cards in defeat. "I gotta hand it to you, that was an awesome duel. Your heroes were cool!"

"Your monsters were awesome too! Red Eyes Black Dragon, Time Wizard, your fusion monsters...it was too cool!" As the two congratulated each other on a good duel, the other three were on the couch and watched the entire game.

"That was a really close game," Lizzy stated. Her back was hunched forward and her hands sat between her legs. She thoroughly enjoyed the duel.

"They both got extremely lucky that match," Yusei mentioned, crossing her arms. "I can't tell who had the most luck out of the two."

"Joey's luck comes out when he needs it most in a duel," Yugi admitted with a sweatdrop. "It's helped him out a lot."

"Doesn't it for all of us though?" Lizzy added. "Whenever we need a little luck in the game, we manage to pull through."

"That's the heart of the cards, Lizzy," Yugi answered. "It always helps you when you need it most."

"Ahh that's what you call it. Okay, I'm cool with that. Anyway, that was game six! Does anyone else want to play more?"

"I think I'm good for now," Yusei said with a yawn. "We played a lot of games tonight." It was true. Not only did they play Duel Monsters, but they played the two board games as a way to take a break. The power still hadn't come on yet and they were getting bored after that sixth game of Duel Monsters.

"Personally, I think we need sleep," Lizzy announced to the boys. "We've been at this for so long and I believe we've reached the limit."

"Oh, I haven't reached my limit yet. The night is still young for me."

"I have no idea how he does it," Jaden stated, putting his cards in his pocket. "He is the definition of a night owl. He will never sleep at night!"

"Really?" Joey said in surprise, looking at Yusei.

"It's a lot quieter where I work at," Yusei replied softly, a tiny bit bashful.

"Haha, I knew it!" Lizzy exclaimed, pointing at Yusei. She then hid under the blanket that she had ever since the power went out, making sure that her friend doesn't catch her. Yusei just shook his head with a shrug.

"She's interesting to hang out with," he stated to everyone else.

"I could've told you that!" Jaden said aloud.

"I'm sure you did a few times," Joey stated. "Right, Yugi?" He turned to his friend to get a response, but he was asleep. "There goes Yugi."

"I think Lizzy is out too," Yusei noted, going over to where she was and nudging her slightly. "Maybe it's best that we should get some sleep too."

"Way ahead of you," Jaden said sleepily, closing his eyes and falling asleep on the floor. Slowly, the group began to doze off into the night, still without power in the apartment complex.
