"It looks like this part of the city is without power," Yusei announced, looking at his phone. "It's not just us."

"I don't like this!" Lizzy exclaimed from the couch, underneath a blanket. "I don't like this one bit! How am I supposed to survive without any light?!"

"With a flashlight!" Jaden answered, grabbing one off the table and turning it on. The girl poked her head from the blanket and smiled in relief.

"I'm better now," Lizzy said, looking at the flashlight. Joey gave her an odd look and asked,

"You afraid of the dark or something?"

"A little bit. I had a bad experience when I was small. Whenever I got to sleep and it's too dark to see, I start getting terrible dreams."

"It's a good thing I have leftover candles from the last time we lost power," Yusei mentioned, grabbing some candles from one of the kitchen cabinets. He put them on the kitchen table and started up a lighter, lighting each of the candles to give everyone a bit more light.

"This happened before?" Yugi said, grabbing two candles and taking them to other parts of the living room.

"Yeah, it's happened a few times since I've been here."

"I knew we should've brought more board games!" Joey cried aloud, setting the two board games that he and Yugi brought on the floor. "Anything I can do to help out?"

"No, we're good," Yusei replied, taking one of the candles and placing it on the table where the couch, and everyone else at the moment, was at. "But thanks for asking."

"So, what should we do?" Lizzy questioned, sitting up straight but still having the blanket on her with her head poking out. "We got two board games and Duel Monsters at our disposal."

"Can we play Duel Monsters?" Jaden asked excitedly. "I'm dying to play against Yugi and Joey." Any new people that Jaden meets and plays the game, he would always ask to duel them. He loved doing that.

"I wouldn't mind dueling them either," Yusei admitted with a smile. "It'd be an interesting match."

"I'm down to play!" Joey grinned with enthusiasm. "If there's a challenge, I'm willing to play."

"So a few rounds of Duel Monsters it is then!" Lizzy announced with a playful smile. "Does anyone have a game mat that they want to use?"

"You don't really need one to have some fun! But if you guys like having a mat, we can use it."

"I'll go and get mine!" Jaden said, jumping to his feet. He dashed to the hallway where his room would be...or at least he tried to. He crashed into the wall that was just to the left of the hallway, making him hit the ground hard.

"Ouch," Joey said in response to Jaden's crash. "That's gotta hurt."

"You'd be surprised of how many times he has done this," Lizzy said to Joey. "Whether there is light or not."

"Do you want a candle, Jay?" Yusei asked loudly so that Jaden could hear him. "It's going to be dark in the hallway too."

"...Yes, please," he responded, stumbling to his feet.
