An Interesting Visit Part 2
"What's going on?" Mrs. Wood cried out, glancing quickly around the dark museum. "There are still employees in the museum!"
"He's coming," Ishizu said softly, her eyes shut to feel the power of her Millennium item. "I can feel it. We must leave quickly!"
"How can we? It's pitch black now. Where else can we go?"
"If we can leave this museum, we'll be okay for now. Odin, lead the way."
The man in the black robe nodded and quickly began to find the exit. Ishizu followed and grabbed Mrs. Wood's hand to make sure that she got out too. The older woman was confused and uncertain of what was going to happen. Who were these people? Who exactly was their enemy, and what did he want with a bunch of mummies? Mrs. Wood wished that her husband was here instead of her. He was more experienced with situations like these. Just before the three walked out the museum through the two sided door, a voice called out,
"You're not going anywhere!"
Ishizu gasped at that familiar voice and turned around to see if it was who she was thinking of. There stood a boy with spiky, white hair, red eyes, and a malicious grin that Ishizu knew well. "Bakura!" she exclaimed aloud, stopping Odion and Mrs. Wood from leaving the building. "Why would you come to a place like this?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Bakura cackled, holding a pendant in the shape of a ring with an upside down triangle in the middle. "I'm gathering an army!"
"An army?!" Mrs. Wood gasped, her eyes widening. "What for?"
"Well, it looks like you're out of the loop," Bakura noted, stroking his pendant slightly. "So, let's catch you up. I want an army to defeat the ones chosen by the Millennium items, especially the Pharaoh, to conquer this world! I thought this would be the best place to find more soldiers for my army."
"Army of what?"
"An army of the dead! I will use this Millennium Ring to call forth the perfect minions I need to take down the Pharaoh." Bakura grinned evilly as his Millennium item glowed brightly in dark hues of purple and black. Its color spread throughout the building and absorbed into all of the sarcophaguses. One by one, a mummy crept out of their buried cases and walked steadily towards Bakura, their eyes red and draped in burial wrappings.
"We need to leave," Mrs. Wood said to Ishizu and Odion. "He's grabbing all of the mummies in the museum!"
"Right," Ishizu replied with a nod. "We can't deal with this now. Let's go."
"I will stay and let you two get a head start," Odion spoke, still looking at Bakura and the incoming mummies.
"No, please come with us! You won't be able to defeat the horde on your own."
"How would you be able to do that?" Mrs. Wood questioned, raising her eyebrow.
"By dueling Bakura!" Odion lifted a sleeve on his left side and revealed that he had a duel disk attached to his left arm. "Let me protect you as I have done all of this time, Ishizu," Odion said with a soft smile.
Ishizu was about to object but then nodded, taking a deep breath. "Let's go," she told Mrs. Wood. The latter agreed and hurried out of the museum.
That's the end of the chapter part! Thanks for reading and look forward to the next part tomorrow. See you then! :)
