"Man, this smoothie is REALLY good!" Joey exclaimed, sipping more of his drink as he sat at a table. He and Jaden were at the mall, finding the smoothie place and figuring out if it was the right one that was recommended to Joey. It turns out it was the right place.

"Isn't this joint the best?" Jaden asked Joey, sitting across the table with his drink. "I came here a few times with Yusei and Lizzy. But I've always forgotten the name."

"I'm just glad we've found this place. Thanks, Jaden!"

"Anytime!" The two sipped their drinks again and relaxed in their chairs. Jaden wanted to bring up the reason why they both came here, but not yet. He thought that they would take it easy and when the moment was just right, he would bring it up. The problem is when to do it. That's always the hardest thing to do. But luckily, Jaden didn't have to worry about that.

"So, about that whole spirit thing," Joey began after drinking more of his smoothie, "that spirit you saw is definitely the Pharaoh, that's for sure. He looked almost exactly like Yugi, right?"

"Yup!" Jaden responded with a nod. "How do you know the spirit, anyway?"

"He's been a part of our lives since high school," Joey explained. "Yugi has a big pendant that he used to wear at the time, which turned out to be an Egyptian item that had connections to the Shadow Realm."

"Shadow Realm? That sounds creepy."

"You got that right! The pendant my buddy wore was called the Millennium Puzzle."

"The pendant was a puzzle?"

"Yeah! It took Yug a long time to solve the puzzle and when he did, the spirit appeared. It appears and switches with Yugi's body every time there was a duel." Jaden raised his eyebrow.

"Every time?" he repeated curiously.

"Not all the time," Joey admitted with a shrug. "I mean, they looked pretty similar so it was hard to tell them apart sometimes."

"I find that hard to believe."

"Yeah. Other people do too. Anyway, the spirit was actually an Egyptian pharaoh named Atem, who lost his memories due to becoming part of Yugi's pendant. So, we got his memories back and Yugi and Atem played a duel against each other, in order for Atem's spirit to find peace."

"But he's still here."

"Yup, he is. We don't know why though. Yugi was able to beat Atem so that he can finally go to the afterlife. However...it didn't happen. Even Ishizu doesn't know what was going on! Everything was just fine beforehand."

"Well, there's probably a reason that happened."

"I know that! But we haven't found it yet, and Yugi doesn't seem that excited about find the mystery behind it. That's the reason why we're here instead of the apartment."

"He doesn't like to talk about it?" Jaden assumed. "But you two are best pals!"

"There are some things he keeps to himself," Joey pointed out. "Everyone does that. So, as his pal, I can respect it. But I also don't wanna see him so down about that though."

"Okay then, maybe we can get some help with that!"

"But it's probably gotta do with Egyptian history. Who are we gonna ask for some help?"
