Brooklyn Noelle Brankovich
Chapter Fifty-four: "What an egg-cellent day"
"-What's Maryland like?" I asked Noah, my head on his chest as we laid up in my bed.
I'd almost fallen asleep after leaving the bonfire at Rick's because I got high with Paris, but Noah banging on my door woke me right up. And I'm glad he didn't leave me hanging because cuddling with him was perfect.
We didn't bother watching any tv, our source of light and sound came from the cracked balcony door. The night life ambience was actually pretty soothing and effective for deep sleeping. I remembered the days of listening to ocean and rainforest sounds on YouTube to fall asleep.
I ran my cold feet along Noah's shin and kissed his nipple then put my chin on my hand that rested on his chest and looked up at him.
"It's not like here," he said in his sleepy voice, "but I don't miss it too much. I'm glad I grew up there instead of here, though. What about Texas, what's it like?"
"Big as they say. It's really conservative, especially where I was raised. I love the weather, some of the people, and everything I got to do there, but I think LA has my heart," I cooed.
"Teach me something in your language," he said, bringing my body over his lap and gripped my hips. I subtly grinded against him and found pleasure in a certain spot when I did so. I swallowed and pressed my lips together, finding the strength to stop myself.
"Hmm," I quickly thought of what to say, "Ich heiße Brooklyn. That's German."
"What does that mean?" he asked, sucking in his lower lip.
"My name is Brooklyn. So you would say: Ich heiße Noah. Say it."
"Ich heiße Noah," he repeated pretty well.
I clapped for him. "Good job, babe! Now say-" I immediately sunk into a shell and pressed my lips together when I caught my slip-up.
I'm so damn dumb! Why did I say that? It just slipped out!
Noah smiled and brung me down to his face. He said, "Babe?"
"I didn't mean to say it, I swear," I apologized, feeling my cheeks glow red. "Let's try Spanish?"
Noah's palms rested on my ass and he sunk his nails into my flesh.
"How do you say 'you're so sexy'?" he asked me, emerging from kissing my neck. I held back my moans and smiled against his lips.
"Eres tan sexy," I told him in a whisper.
"Eres tan sexy," Noah repeated, sitting up. He peeled my cami off and slid his hands down my back as I straddled his lap.
He sucked my breast into his mouth and my nipples hardened between his teeth.
"Te quiero tan mala," (I want you so bad) I breathed out as his lips trailed lower. He lied me on my back and found my hands, interlocking our fingers.
It was too much to resist, I missed how he made me feel. Weakened under his touch, I let him remove my satin shorts and he threw them onto the carpet.
"Estoy tan lista para ti." (I'm so ready for you)
Noah's fingertips roamed up my leg to my throat where he held his hand and kissed from my lips down to above my bellybutton. I shuddered under his warm kisses and pushed his head down. He removed my hand and angrily held it down so I couldn't touch him anymore or take control.
He put my knees over his shoulders and kept his forearm over my stomach to keep me from squirming away. It'd been a while, so I was more excited and uncomfortably turned on.
He dipped his nose into my arousal and then moaned against my inner thigh as he bit me there and kissed the pain away.
"Mm," I whimpered, my back arching. "Me haces sentir muy bien." (You make me feel so good.)
Noah glanced up and his hungry eyes found mine, driving me wild.
I grabbed his hair and pulled him back up to my lips.
"I want you so bad," I whispered, out of breath, "I wanna taste." His tongue entered my mouth and swirled against mine. I felt his erection against my slit through his shorts and as we kissed, I yanked his shorts down. He stopped my hand and put his forehead to mine.
"Stop, Brooklyn," he growled, panting for breath.
I looked at him with wide eyes and pecked his lips once more. I gulped. "Noah, I want you."
"You said you don't want to do this," he reminded me, smoothing the hair out of my face.
"But I do," I gushed softly, "please."
He studied my face and clenched his jaw.
"What are you thinking?" I asked him.
Noah snapped out of his head and rolled over. I pouted and stared at his stiff length, watching him proudly stroke it. I kneeled between his legs and continued watching in awe.
He's so damn perfect.
Even more turned on by this, I tossed my head back and felt myself up, stopping at my breasts.
"You're so sexy," he gritted as I crawled up to his lips. "Come here."
I was positioned between his legs and he reached around my waist and delved his hands into my wet entrance, making me cry out. I grabbed his hair and submitted to the kiss as he thumbed my clit, my body weakly squirming against his. I broke the kiss and moaned as I watched him please me in a way that only he could. He teased me, slowly going in and out, his fingers instantly coated. I sucked them into my mouth and gagged on them. Noah smiled and rubbed the moisture along my chest.
I removed myself and kissed back down his chest, my hand following. He wrapped a ponytail around his fist as I dropped my jaw to fit him whole inside my mouth, easing back to my uvula until I felt my eyes water.
"Fuck, Brooklyn," he gasped, closing his eyes. I looked up as his head tossed back.
"Stop," he hissed, raising my chin. I pouted, looking at him in confusion.
"But I want to make you come," I purred, continuing to stroke him with my hand.
Noah gritted and buckled under me. "Not like this," he voiced, "I'm about to come all over your face."
I grinned sinisterly and sped up, saying, "I want you to."
He swallowed hard and forcefully grabbed my wrist to stop me. We stared at each other until our lips crashed into each other's. I threw my leg over his lap and felt him lie on his back but I rolled us over. Noah worked his hips, the thick vein on his member rubbing against my clit enough to stimulate me. He tapped his hard shaft against my sex. Pre-cum dripped onto me and I swiped it up with my finger wanting to taste it. Noah huffed and flipped us over, pulling me back onto his lap.
I put my forehead against his and breathed unsteadily.
"Put it in," he whispered an order, linking his arms behind his head as he arrogantly watched.
I whimpered and forced myself down every inch, feeling a pit in my stomach.
"Shit," he let out. I tossed my head back and then rocked and swirled, trying to go from discomfort to pleasure.
Noah held my hips down as I bounced on him relentlessly.
His body tensed up and he moaned, "Fuck, slow down."
"Like this?" I asked innocently, grinding sensually as I hovered over his body.
"Just like that," he breathed out, pushing the sweaty hairs off my sticky forehead.
Hearing his voice encouraged me. I just wanted to please him so I remained at that pace. But I finished first and let him caress me as I came down.
"Yo necesitaba eso," I breathed out, "Te necesito."
*
"Get outta here," I laughed, physically pushing Noah's body out of my bedroom.
"Come on, Brooks, it's too early. You've never kicked me out before," he whined like a brat, his voice almost gone.
I dug my heels in the floor and used more force, finally getting him to the front door.
My hand reached for the doorknob but first he tried kissing me and I dodged it so his lips landed on my cheek.
"Aha, you're mad at me because you gave it up last night," he concluded, laughing at me. He's right, I'll admit.
"You're the worst, leave," I grunted, opening the door.
"Okay," he sighed, "Damn, you can at least make me breakfast sometime."
"I can't cook remember," I frowned.
"Well, learn."
My eyes rolled. "Bye."
"See you, girl," he winked, walking down the hall. I bit down on my lip and waited until he was inside 305, to start my day.
Saturday night. The club reopened for business. It was back to normal, well, except for us having to be patted down when we entered.
I approached the bar and curled my face upon seeing Cassie and Lily laughing together.
"Oh, hi, Brooklyn," Lily chimed. She just thought she was so cute with her hair in a middle part. Now I have to switch to side parts. And I bet she's not even a real blonde.
I blinked and said a hesitant "hi" in return. With other things to do, Lily walked away leaving Cassie and I to talk.
"Wow. I thought it was hard for you to make friends," I sassed with sarcasm at Cassie.
She stopped wiping the counter and looked at me."What is that supposed to mean? Do you not like Lily?"
"Sure, I like her," I shrugged, turning my mouth down, "I just like hanging out with you, too, but apparently I've been replaced."
Cassie gasped at my claim. "Replaced? I mean, you could ask me to hang out like she did. I'm not going to say no but I just thought you were busy." Busy my ass.
I flailed my arms, calling utter bullshit. "Busy doing what, Cassie," I ranted, "I have no life."
Cassie leaned on her hand. "And you could always ask me to do something. I would hope this friendship isn't one-sided."
What she said made me feel bad, I stepped outside of myself to see her point. "I'm sorry," I admitted, "you're right." I hoped my charming humor would win her over.
Cassie stared at me and smiled. "That was so cute."
"Well clear your schedule tomorrow because you're going everywhere with me: the gas station, the bank, hair salon, and my game! That is, if you want to?" I grinned brightly at Cass to convince her.
"No, I don't," Cassie said plainly, keeping a blank face until she eventually laughed. "I'd love to go to the gas station with you. And all of those other places. Consider my schedule cleared, blondie."
Relieved, I allowed myself to laugh. With my knees in the stool, I leaned in and squeezed Cassie's body for a hug. "Okay, you're lucky I can't come up with a nickname but I will! And between you and me, I prefer you over Paris. I'm never getting high again."
Cassie rubbed my back, a sweet gesture that didn't go without acknowledgement. "You were the only one that I came into this with and the one I hope to leave with, so I'm glad you prefer me." She giggled and resumed washing glasses. "And yeah, I think I'll stick to drinking." I heard that.
"You're so stinking cute!" I squealed and took a seat, childishly spinning in the stool. "Speaking of drinking, how was your night last night? I didn't see you and Gael talking a lot?"
Cassie's high cheeks blushed and she glanced over her shoulder. "It was nice and needed for everyone to let loose. But we try to stay away in public because you just never know, right? I don't want him getting beat up because of me. And how fucked up does that sound?"
"Totally fucked," I agreed, "I hate it here. I say we blow the place up and run away."
As soon as I said my last piece, Courtney strolled by in her pumps and said, "Get to work, ladies!"
Not wanting another strike under my belt, I shot up to stand. I quietly laughed, "Oop."

Sunday's, a day for relaxing and pampering. My game was thankfully postponed due to the gym being rented out in advance for some other event.
I told Cassie to expect me asking her out a lot more and I meant that. So, we agreed on a brunch date - just the two of us.
I wore white, floral long sleeved dress that was short and flowed at my upper thighs, and a pair of nude red bottoms - my first, and favorite, pair of Louboutins. I threw on a stacked necklace with it, a crossbody bag, and other accessories. My curled hair was parted in the middle - I decided I owned the style instead of Lily and didn't let her make me change it. Instead of a full beat, I concealed under my eyes and set it with powder as well as applying clear gel to my brows, coated my eyelashes with my favorite mascara, did a simple fox-eye look, and painted on a creamy mauve lipstick.
Seeing the time, one-fifty, I sprayed my favorite soft rose perfume and walked through it. Next I grabbed my purse, sunglasses, keys, and phone before exiting my apartment.
As I neared the elevator, I looked up from texting Noah and saw Gael heading to his place.
"Hey, Harlem," he greeted me, flipping through the mail in his hands, "where you going?"
"On a date with your girl," I beamed, popping my foot as I pressed 'down' on the elevator. "Jealous?"
"A little bit," he admitted. "Where are you going?"
"Mama Mimosa, heard of it?" The elevator was taking forever and a day, it seriously needs to be fixed before someone gets stuck inside or worse.
He furrowed his eyebrows. "Heard of it, never been. It's expensive."
I smacked my lips and titled my head to gaze blankly at him. "And what are you trying to say? We can afford it, you know, with all the tips we make from those fine, fine men at the club," I rubbed it in, only playing with him.
He reached in his pocket and searched through his wallet, revealing a nice wad of cash. "Here, tell Victoria it's on me," Gael offered.
Victoria? My face curled as I awkwardly received the small stack of twenties. At a quick count, I found it was almost one hundred and forty dollars.
"Her name is Cassie, weirdo," I drawled, "and she won't accept it; she can pay for herself. But thanks for the gas and nails money!" I cackled, just joking, of course I'm going to put it towards her meal and give her the rest. I think what Gael did is so cute, very sweet of him.
The elevator finally opened and I skipped inside, wearing a plastic smile until the doors closed me in.

"I'm so excited," I beamed, gritting my teeth at Cassie who was removing her seatbelt. She smiled at me and climbed out of the Porsche. Once I clutched my purse, I got out and got a full look at Cassie. She outdid herself, putting me to complete shame.
She wore her light golden brown hair in light waves at the ends and rocked a middle part, like myself. Her light makeup was flawless, as well, and she exuded confidence.
Cassie's bronzed skin looked absolutely gorgeous in the satin white mock-backless strappy rogue dress she modeled, making her crystal eyes pop. The faux leather white square-toed lace-up sculptured heels were just as cute and matched the dress perfectly, leaving me envious in the best way.
"Bitch, you look good!" I exclaimed, insisting on taking her photos. She laughed and tried posing as I got some good shots.
Remembering what Gael said, I told Cassie, "Or should I say Victoria?"
"What?" she asked me, oblivious.
I shook my head and walked arm-in-arm with Cass to the entrance. "Nothing, something Gael said earlier."
"Ohhh!" It suddenly hit her and she blushed, giggling, but didn't let me in on the inside joke.
"Welcome to Mama Mimosa," the waiter said, "how can I help you?"
Cassie spoke up while my eyes scanned the inside of the earthly-themed establishment. It didn't even look like we were in LA anymore, the atmosphere itself completely sold me before I even tried the food, service, or drinks.
"Table for two," Cassie squeaked.
The hostess lead us to a nice table that had a good view of the place and the greenery all around.
I fixed my shirt and instantly regretted wearing a corset, knowing I was more than likely going to pig out.
Pulling up Snapchat, I got Cassie in the frame for a selfie to post to my story.
"Loves it," I said, also posting a few slides of pictures to my Instagram. I captioned it:
Ma ma se, ma ma sa, Mama Mimosa.. or whatever Michael Jackson said
I watched Cassie palm her face, her plump glossy lips turned into a big smile. "This is such a nice gas station for our first friend date," she said.
I uncrossed my arms and let my face fall. "Bitch," I rolled my eyes and laughed through my nose, "shopping and Chick-fil-a was our first friend date."
"Oh yeah," she laughed, "well I think we've improved and have reached third base. I mean, we were already cuddling."
I started smiling and raked my fingers through my hair. "Oh, watch out," my deep voice spoke, "you don't wanna get the Venus treatment."
Her French-tipped fingernails tapped on the table. She said, "Save all that energy for Noah. I'm sure he needs it with the attitude he has. He called me a dummy and I'm not over that." Ugh, don't remind me.
I thunk back to our argument at the hospital and when he showed up at my apartment when I got back from Texas. I'm proud of myself for calling Noah out on his shit, but disappointed now with myself for giving in so quickly. He renders me weak. Every time.
"Yeah, sorry, he's so fucking mean. I told him I wanted to end things because of how he treated me at the hospital but he was just so cute and didn't want to. So, I threatened to hold off on sex but last night happened. I'm so weak, I'm a poor excuse of a woman, Cassie!" I groaned, closing my eyes.
Cassie's mouth dropped into an 'O.' "The definition of dick-matized," she told me, "but he was that bad? At the hospital?"
"I'm just a baby, I don't know, but yeah, he was pretty bad. What about Gael, how'd you get him out of that funk?" I really wanted to know because Gael was not himself after the accident for a few days and if it hurt me, I know it hurt Noah and Cassie, too.
Our small waitress appeared and flipped to an empty page on her notebook, she took our orders and then excused herself, claiming they'd be "right out."
I returned my attention to Cassie so she could answer my question. "It's understandable to a certain extent, you know?" Cassie leaned on her elbow, looking at me. "But we didn't talk for three days. Emmy and I bought him a stupid gift and then we talked and fell asleep on the roof." She smiled like she was thinking back to that night and I felt happy for them, how romantic.
"I'm actually jealous, I hate you guys. That's so cute! Aw, Emereigh, how is she," I barely stopped to catch my breath in between words, "I wouldn't know because Noah's literally scared of me interacting with her if he's not around. I think he's weird about it, he mentioned how weird it is to have someone who cares about him. But hey, what about Em's birthday?!"
Cassie sipped one of her three mimosas before replying to all of that. "Don't be jealous. I have no clue what the hell is going on and I don't think he doesn't either. But Emereigh is good. She's with her mom for Labor Day, but why? I mean, I'm around her, what's the difference? But oh yeah! It's going to be Frozen themed and I found her cake already. She's going to love it!" I appreciated her hitting every question I asked and keeping the same energy, I know we're meant to be best friends.
"Oh, I can't wait," I beamed. A nice breeze danced along my skin and I inhaled, taking it all in. What a nice day, I thought, wearing a visible smile on my face as I tossed my head back. "Ugh," I frowned, "why can't everyday be like this? I don't want to go back to work."
"Work," Cassie rolled her eyes, and then something hit her. "Oh shit," she talked, "Tell me I'm not crazy. Ronnie and Vince are the same murderers from the cruise. I tried to talk to Gael about it and he was short with me."
Trying to process what she said, I sipped a large portion of my mimosa and blinked my eyelashes in thought.
Suddenly hit with a memory from that night, I slapped my palms on the tabletop. "Oh my God, I knew I wasn't seeing things! And they swore we were just drunk that night. This is too weird for me," I scoffed, pushing my plate away.
Cass finished one of her drinks and bit into the French toast. "Drunk my ass. Hit your head my ass. Like why would I just make that up? How are we even supposed to go about that? Not do anything for the sake of the stupid NDA's as they would say."
"Fuck that. Cassie, we saw them murder someone. Don't you think this club is a little too... shady? And I'm tired of everyone just shrugging it off! I'm going to ask Noah. In the meantime, let's just stay away from those guys, okay? They make me uncomfortable." As Cassie nodded, I began to eat my smoked salmon and egg salad on a toasted baguette. Now this is food I'm used to.
Cassie continued to eat. She said, "I know the club is shady, and I keep seeing little things that shouldn't be happening. But everyone acts like it's normal and it's not. But I'm with you on staying away. I wouldn't approach them anyway." I couldn't agree more.
She sipped her drink with her pinky out and made me laugh, reminding me of my snooty mother.
