I decided to start with a short Levi x reader. Since they are popular yeah?  Anyway,  here we go.

4 was your number.

It was the 4th expedition you've been on, and it has been four times you've probably were in the hands of death. It's been four times you've fallen in love, and all four times were a mess.

You looked outside and saw the tilted trees. Then you felt something roll down your cheek. It was raining, but why did the rain seem red? Or was everything starting to look like blood to you?

You heard a shade behind,  and then a horses grunt. "Cadet L/N,  you're suppose to be preparing your gear."

It was Captain Levi, and much to your dismay, he was checking up on you again. As he does everyday.

"I ready did. And I double checked it, triple even." Even though you weren't facing him,  you could to a frown grew in his lips.

"F/N. You do know that your gear almost always fails you. Like it did for four times in a row."

Four. You signed heavily,  "I'm fine Captain."

"...that reminds me."

"What?"

"Don't go near the titans on today's expedition. I want you helping the wounded soldiers."

You spun around and faced Levi's face with anger."Is this about not preparing my gear! I'm fully capable of killing the Titans!"

"You're not going to get yourself hurt again."

Those words seem to aim straight at your heart. But wasn't that why you joined the Survey Corps?  Your life didn't matter, the lives that matter were the people that looked up to you.

Levi sucked in a breath."Just... don't die."

And in one second, he was gone.
