"(Y/N)?" Kadence asked, looking over at you worriedly. You had stopped your horse once the castle came into view, knowing it was the HQ. You, Kadence, Sierra and some other 105th trainees had joined the Survey Corps, and you were currently on your way there.

You all had graduated two years before you were supposed to, and Shadis refused to explain why. Sierra was lucky enough to graduate in first place, and you ended up in fifth. But hey, it's better than nothing, and it's better than Kadence, who ended up in sixth.

You were nervous about meeting the 104th again. You hadn't seen them for over a year, and you were scared they weren't gonna like you anymore. Unbeknownst to you, a certain group of boys were very excited to finally see you again. Even they were nervous, but only because they were scared you would've found a boyfriend while they were gone.

"I-I'm ok," you explained, sending a smile to Kadence before following the group of newly-graduates to HQ, Kadence staying by your side the entire time.

"You know what?" Kadence asked, catching your attention.

"What?" You asked, turning your gaze to your friend.

A smile stretched across Kadence's face as she looked at you. "We need to find a new signature tree." You both giggled, before turning your attention back to the road in front of you.

Once you all were there and had put away your horses, Erwin talked about different things you would need to know. Like, how you could choose your own bedroom (out of them that weren't already used) because there were so many. And you can share it with whoever you want, since boys and girls can share rooms.

Behind Erwin, you could see a girl with brown hair in a ponytail with glasses you recognized, and a boy with dark brown/black hair and an expressionless face. You didn't see the 104th anywhere, and figured they were out on a mission or something.

Hanji waved furiously when she saw you, a big smile on her face. She would've ran up to you and pulled you in for a hug if commander Erwin and captain Levi wasn't watching.

When Erwin was finished and you and Kadence found a room with Sierra, you were instantly bored, and decided to go outside since Erwin said that you could explore. The second you took a step outside, you were attacked in a hug.

"I've missed you so much, (Y/N)!" The person exclaimed, who you recognized to be Hanji. A smile stretched across your face as you wrapped your arms around Hanji, hugging her back.

"I've missed you, too!" You replied before Hanji pulled away, taking in your looks before squealing.

"You've grown so much since I last saw you!" She exclaimed. "So tell me, are there any boys you have your eyes on?" Hanji smirked as she looked down at you, wiggling her eyebrows. You instantly blushed and averted your gaze away from her.

"N-no," you stuttered, even though Hanji knew you were lying. Hanji raised an eyebrow, before looking behind you, instantly letting you go and hugging Kadence.

"You're here, too!" Hanji said happily, squeezing Kadence. Kadence didn't mind these hugs and was often happy to get them, so she hugged back happily. Hanji pulled away, looking at you and your friend happily.

"Shitty glasses," a monotone voice interrupted, causing Hanji to gasp and turn around. Your and Kadence's eyes followed, seeing a small ravenette standing in front of Hanji with no emotion. You and Kadence instantly saluted once you realized it was captain Levi, humanity's strongest soldier.

"You have paperwork to do," he continued, still no emotion seen. Hanji instantly frowned, the thought of paperwork making her want to gag.

"But--" Hanji gulped once Levi squinted his eyes at her intimidatingly, causing her to quickly run away to do her paperwork, yelling "see you later" to you and Kadence, leaving you two alone with Levi.

You brought your gaze to Levi and gulped, thinking he looked really intimidating despite his height. He made a "tch" sound before walking away, causing you and Kadence to breathe out in relief and let your arms drop to your sides.

"See that tree?" Kadence asked suddenly and pointed at a random tree ahead. "That's our new signature tree." She looked back at you and smiled, you smiling back before the sound of horses galloping could be heard, and the 104th came into view.

A smile stretched across your face as you saw your friends again. They were a little occupied with getting their horses in the stable, so they didn't notice you or Kadence. You and Kadence looked at each other and smirked once an idea crossed both your minds.

You both walked over to the stable and waited outside, hearing the others talk and put away their gear and horses. You and Kadence looked over at each other and giggled. You both waited a little longer, until the first 104th member came out.

A pair of blue eyes widened as a certain blonde boy gasped seeing you. You both blushed when you realized how close the two of you were to each other, before you felt a pair of arms wrap around you. You giggled and hugged back, happy to be with your friends again.

"We've missed you, (Y/N)," Armin said, a smile forming on his face as he pulled away from you, a tint of pink on his cheeks before he saw the chocolate-haired girl behind you. "And Kadence." Kadence smiled and waved happily, before the other members of the 104th came into view, their eyes widening as well as they saw you and Kadence.

Soon enough, you and Kadence were stuck in the middle of a group hug, hearing multiple "I missed you"s and "I'm glad you're here"s.

Someone cleared their throat loudly, causing the hugging to stop. You looked over to your side, seeing a tall and well-built blonde guy standing next to a taller brunette guy. They both looked at you and Kadence confused.

"This," Jean started and wrapped an arm around your shoulder, causing your eyes to widen and a blush make it's way to your cheeks as several pairs of jealous eyes glared at the back of Jean's head. "Is (Y/N), and that's Kadence."

"I'll introduce her, horse-face," Eren spat and wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you into his grasp instead of Jean's, who's eyebrows were furrowed in anger.

Eren was pushed away and replaced with Connie, who smirked and wrapped his arm around your waist. He opened his mouth to say something but was pulled away by both Eren and Jean. Armin would've wrapped an arm around you too if he wasn't so shy, but that doesn't mean he didn't send death glares to the back of the boys' head.

"What makes you think she'd want to be introduced by any of you?" Jean spat, glaring at Eren and Connie.

"Better me than you, horse-face!" Eren spat back, his eyebrows furrowed in anger as he stepped closer to Jean intimidatingly.

"I'm the one who should introduce her!" Connie argued, joining into the fight as well. Armin sighed and walked up to you.

"(Y/N), that's Bertholdt and Reiner," he introduced, before hearing the three boys stop throwing insults at each other and instead glared at Armin angrily. All the girls watched in shock, confused by what just happened. Krista walked up to you, Sasha and Ymir following behind.

"Let's just go to the mess hall," Krista said before making her way towards the mess hall with you and the other girls behind. The boys glared at each other angrily, muttering curse words and insults as they followed you and the girls to the mess hall.
