Nic's POV:

I grabbed some nerf guns, string, wire and anything useful around me. I then built a popcorn gun. 'Mitch and Jerome are going to LOVE this!' I say in my head. I hear them stirring. I look at the time, 6 o'clock. Great I didn't sleep. I get behind the wall and I wait until they come out.

"PUT YOUR SLEEPY HANDS UP!!!" I yell pointing the guns at them.

"Ugh what did you make this time?" They moaned.

"Popcorn guns!" Their eyes lit up.

"Just put them down girl!!" Jerome laughed.

"Fine princess!" I teased.

He crossed his arms and sat on the couch.

"So how are the kings doing this fine morning?" I laugh jokingly.

"Lovely peasant girl." Mitch replies.

I roll up my sleeves and clench my fists, "This peasant can beat you up!"

"Fine, Princess!" He teases.

"Guys cut it out!" Jerome says walking to the fridge.

I walk over to the kitchen to start making breakfeast. I open the cupboard oping to find the cereal. But all I found was an empty cereal tub.

"Mitch!" I moan.

"What?" He replies.

"We needz more foodz!" I say sitting on the counter.

"Go get some!" He laughs.

"I need parental guidance!" I joke.

"Nic I'll take you if he won't," Jerome offers.

"Alright Jerome lezzgo!" I yell.

-After shopping-

Jerome's POV:

"MITCH WE'RE HOME!!!!!" Nic screams.

Mitch jumps from the couch and runs to help Nic carry the bags. She pulls the bags away from him.

"I can do it myself." Nic insists.

"Alright if you say so!" Mitch laughs.

Nic just looks at him then laughs. We bring the bags in and put them on the counter. Then Nic starts going all 'everything must go where it's supposed to' mode.

-10 minutes later-

"Done!" She laughs.

"Finally!" I tease.

She just grins and grabs a soda from the fridge. Just as we go to sit down we hear a knock at our door.

Mitch gets off the couch, "I'll get it."

Nic pushes him back onto the couch, "No I will get it."

We all laugh as she goes to open the door.

The house turns silent as me and Mitch turn around to look at Nic.

To our suprise a man standing at the door. His face wet with tears.

Mitch gets up and I follow.

Our eyes light up when we realized who it was.

"Preston?!"
