~~~ Your POV ~~~

I was aiding a mother cat along with her kittens while everyone, but Levi, Hanji, Erwin, and Mike, was out saving animals that needed saving. The cat meowed as I smiled and pet her softly and smoothly while saying, "Shh... it's okay, you and your kittens are going to be fine... May. That is your name." she purred as her three kittens slept next to her. After I was done, I left them in their area so they can rest after being saved two hours ago by my co-worker who's also the guy I've been thinking of, Levi Ackerman. Some people who don't know he works as animal rescue member think he's rude, but... if they were to see him save animals with unnoticeable tears in his eyes if one of them died in his arms or hurt badly, they'll otherwise.

I went to Hanji, the only person who knows my two secrets. "Hanji, I need to talk to you, do you have a moment?" "SURE! ANYTHING FOR MY ANGEL SHORTCAKE!" Hanji yelled as I sighed and walked to where we kept the animals.

~~~ Levi's POV ~~~

"SURE! ANYTHING FOR MY ANGEL SHORTCAKE!" I looked at the corner of his eye to see (Y/n) and Hanji leave.

"Hmm... I don't get it... back in middle school, Hanji would only call her 'shortcake', but ever since freshmen year in high school, she started calling her 'angel shortcake'. It fits her well, I must admit. She's beautiful as an angel, her soft, shiny (h/l) (h/c) hair that makes most women jealous because her hair is naturally like that, her pure and innocent (e/c) eyes that make you want to gaze into them endlessly as you fall deeper, and deeper in those perfect eyes. Her (s/c) skin sometimes look like it glows, no matter the lighting she's in. Her smile, oh that smile, it makes me want to believe angels exist while it can make a grown man want to cry,"

I thought to myself as Mike sniffed me, making me say, "Oi, what the hell do you think you're doing?" "You're thinking about the angel." I clicked my tongue before replying, "You and Hanji seem to be calling (Y/n) 'angel' or some shit like that. Why?" he doesn't reply, but he simply goes to Erwin to talk o him. Just then, Hanji and (Y/n) come back inside and started getting ready. "It's go time! Abandon puppies in an old shopping mall that closed in 2000. We have to move and get them to safety!" Hanji called out as we all started getting ready. "I'll get the van," Erwin called out as he left to get the van started. "Mike, I need you to get the cage at the ready along with the leach if the puppies mother is still there," (Y/n) spoke as Mike nodded before heading off to get the things. "Hanji, I'm going to be needing your ham sandwich!" she yelled out as Hanji whined and tried to protest, but failed.

"Ackerman, I need you to get a head start to track down those dogs, I'll be acomonying you on the way," she said as I replied with, "Tch, fine, but don't get in the way like you always do." "Ackerman, for the last time, don't talk that way to me, it's bad enough that you won't allow me to call you by your name anymore along with you not wanting to talk to me before or after work hours, SO SHAPE UP." and with that she grabbed her bag that has her things in it, for example, bandages, Hanji's side lunch she makes for the animals, tracking device in case they can't find us, and some masks in case we have to go underground or if there's an awful smell."

we went to the car and started driving to the old mall. "(Y/n), I--" "Don't. We can talk after we're done, but for now, we have to focus." but that's the thing... I can't focus because I can't stop looking at your beautiful figure. "(Y/n), please... hear me out," I spoke as she sighed before saying, "Fine. What is it that you want to say." "I want to say that... that I'm sorry for being a complete asshole to you,"

"And?" "and for not talking to you before or after work hours," "And?" "for not allowing you to call me 'Levi' anymore," "And?~" she said in a singsong like voice, I sighed and said, "and for being a complete idiot for doing those stupid things." she giggled softly. "The most idiotic man ever." I let a smile appear on my face as I got close to the mall.

~~~ LATER ~~~

"I'll check the left, you check the right," I told (Y/n) as she said, "Alright, be safe Levi." she ran off as I ran the other way to look for them, after countless minutes, I heard (Y/n) call out, "I found them!" I ran over to her, to find that she's looking up at the third floor that's starting to fall. "Fuck... this is going to be hard." just then (Y/n) stepped back a few before trying to jump up to the third floor since the stairs are no longer there, so I'm guessing they got up there somehow without stairs, I'm guessing a secret way? (Y/n) fell down. "Damn...  CURSE MY SHORTNESS!" (Y/n) called out as I heard footsteps.

"I'll go get the others, you make sure you get ready for them in case they fall." "Okay." I ran off to get Hanji and Mike, leaving (Y/n) alone.

~~~ Your POV ~~~

I watched as Levi ran from sight, I sighed and looked back at the puppies. "I have no choice... they're going to fall," I thought to myself as I heard a crack in the floor. "I have no time!" I pulled off my backpack and jacket letting my wings free, just then, the floor to the third broke, and since I was on the first floor due to the second floor being gone, I flew up as I yelled, "NO!" I caught all six of them with the blanket I hand in my hands before the floor fell. I wrapped them up and panted in fear. "Please be okay... please," I pleaded with my life as I opened it a bit to see all six of them whimpering in fear. "Thank goodness." I went down to the ground and set them down, but I heard a whimper, I looked up to see the runt of the pack. A beautiful dog with black fur with blue eyes. "Oh no..." I heard them behind me, I flew up to get the puppy.

~~~ 3rd POV ~~~

As they go there, they saw (Y/n) flying to get the runt, Levi was shocked to see what he was seeing. "Her wings! They're so beautiful!" Hanji yelled out as Erwin held the blanket that had to pups as Mike nodded before saying, "I knew that she wouldn't have been able to hide it for longer..." meanwhile, (Y/n) was trying to reach the pup. "Come here... it's okay, I'm going to help you." the pup whimpered in fear as (Y/n) whispered, "Please... your brothers and sisters are waiting for you... along with your mother." the pup walked closer to (Y/n), she grabbed him and held him close to her chest as she flew down.

"(Y/n)." (Y/n) turned around to see her friends looking at her with a smile... er, well, almost all her friends. "H-hey..." "(Y/n), explain," Erwin said as she sighed before saying, "I'm an angel... I was sent down to live a normal life since I'm not meant to live up there yet... my job has always been with animals, so I went undercover to keep up this thing... please don't tell anyone." she looked at them as she held the pup close.

"We won't... just as long as you promise to be true to yourself," Erwin said as she sighed before smiling. "Thank you." a loud bark causing them to look behind (Y/n), they saw a beautiful white dog with blue eyes. "There she is. Mike, Erwin, get the sandwich and feed her while Hanji, Levi, and I take the pups to the van." and with that said, they went off.

~~~ MORE LATER ~~~

After three days of taking care of the puppies and dog, they were given names. A beautiful white, male pup with brown eyes was named Yurio, a white, male pup with blue eyes was named Victor, a brown, female pup with brownish red eyes was named Vanellipe, a brown, male pup with green eyes was named Ralph, and a black, (fe)male pup with blue eyes was named (name). A little boy and girl came by the other day and saw the two remaining puppies we haven't named, so they took them, but here's the cute thing... those two pups were inseparable along with the kids. They were of age to leave their mother, so no need to worry.

(Y/n) was taking care of the pups, but she couldn't put down (name) because (s)he had grown attached to her. Levi went to her and asked, "Why are you carrying (name) around?" "I have too... when I put her/him down, (s)he starts crying. You have to remember, (s)he is very sensitive when no one is holding her... I would be too if I was deaf in one ear and could bearly hear out of the other while having a hard time seeing and could only see blurs."

Levi sighed and took her/him from (Y/n) and held them close. They didn't whimper but rubbed up against Levi. "Aw, adorable." Levi's and (Y/n) eyes locked when they were about to talk about something else, but they didn't say anything. Levi used a free hand to hold (Y/n)'s cheek and bring her close. "Levi... do you like me?" she asked shyly as he replied with, "Tch, damn brat... you have no idea how much I love you." and with that said, he closed the gap between them.

Little did they know, a crazed woman with a man with bushy eyebrows and a man with a hound dog nose was watching them.

And from that moment on, Levi and (Y/n) stayed together with their dog (name), who they take care of and love every day. (Y/n) did not only save a family of dogs, but she did save a man's heart from giving up hope that he'll win her love, yes... you can call her an angelic rescuer, but... as Levi says, "She's my angelic rescuer."
