In the dull and grim forest of Nagasur settlement, voices of argument echoed.

"A year has passed Yuvraj and you have done nothing but to mislead us !" Vishkaal said.

"I am trying Maharaj ! She is very adamant." Rukmi said.

"But isn't her lover dead ? Why is she still lamenting ?" Kaalkhand asked.

"I don't know. But she is not even ready to listen to me." Rukmi said.

"Just admit it Yuvraj that you cannot convince her. I'll abduct her now !" Vishkaal said.

"No ! No ! You will not do that Maharaj ! The entire Aryavart will laugh at us saying that Vidarbh cannot protect its women. Firstly Rukmini eloped with Krishna and if Rukmika is abducted.... No ! No ! Please don't do this." Rukmi said.

"Fine. But this time I myself will talk to her." Vishkaal said.

"When ?" Rukmi asked.

"An invitation has come from Panchal about the swayamvar of its princess. Everyone in the trilok has been invited." Vishkaal said.

"Oh yes. Vidarbh has also received an invitation from Panchal-naresh Drupad." Rukmi said.

"Then you shall bring Rukmika along with you to the swayamvar. There I will try to convince her." Vishkaal said.

"Alright." Rukmi nodded.

On the other side, the revered Sage Krishna Dwaipayan Vyas, the son of Rishi Parhasar and Satyavati, the 28th Ved Vyas and grandfather of the Pandavas visited the 5 brothers and their mother.

He informed them about the swayamvar that was about to take place in Panchal.

"Pandavo, a great-souled rishi had a daughter who was beautiful and had all the auspicious qualities. But because of her earlier deeds, she was unfortunate. Despite being beautiful and pure, that girl did not get a husband. With sorrow in her heart, she then began to perform penance so as to obtain a husband. She satisfied Mahadev with her severe austerities." Ved Vyas said.

The Pandavas and Kunti sitting around the great sage listened to him very carefully.

"Mahadev offered her a boon and she repeatedly told the supreme god, 'I want a husband with all the qualities.' Then Mahadev blessed her to have 5 husbands in the next birth. She told Mahadev, that she wanted only one husband. The god of gods then addressed her again in these excellent words, 'You have repeatedly asked me for a husband five times. Therefore, when you are reborn in another body, it shall be as I have just said.' That daughter of divine form was born in Drupad’s family, as the unblemished Krishnaa Draupadi and is destined to be your wife." Ved Vyas said.

"Our wife ?" Yudhishthir asked.

"Yes. O mighty ones ! Go to the city of Panchal. There is no doubt that you will be happy in obtaining her as your wife." Ved Vyas said.

A/N

Ved Vyas before hand only had told the Pandavas that they all were destined to marry Draupadi. And I have copy pasted those dialogues from BORI CE, changing a word or two to fit my writing style.

So the Pandavas knew and therefore didn't object to Kunti's order.
