Prerna took the small pigeon in her hand and started feeding it. When she heard her sister calling her out.

"Yes Dii what happened?" Prerna asked and kept the pigeon down.

"Preu you don't know? Your Anurag's flight has landed Rajasthan." Priya said to her sister with a teasing smile.

Prerna blushed hearing her sister's voice and ran to her room.

Prerna sat on her bed and started thinking about her Anurag. A blush crept on her face as she thought about him.

She was very happy that she was going to meet him after four years.

Why wouldn't she?

He was coming back after completing his project and two days before their engagement.

She got up from her bed and took one of her oldest boxes out. She took out her treasures from inside and smiled warmly seeing it.

It had the anklets he gifted her after getting his first job. He was so happy that he decided to gift her something from his first earned.

Prerna took out the small square box and opened it. Her eyes started to get watery seeing the old memories of them. Her hands travelled to the side section of the box and she took out a pile of letters from it.

They were the letters he used to write for her on their initial days of relationship.

They were childhood sweethearts and then college lovers. When he started to work he asked her parents her hand and after a lot of persuading her parents agreed. But he went to New York to complete his project and left her behind.

Prerna was getting tingling sensations thinking about those memories and specially thinking about her love, Anurag.

It would be a sheer lie if she will tell she didn't missed him. She missed him with each second of her life.

Prerna took out the earrings he had gifted her before leaving India and smiled weakly seeing them.

It had been ten months she hasn't talk to him. She was busy for her college and job and he too was busy in his project to call her.

Prerna stood up from her place and took the small taj mahal he gifted to her with a smile. He proposed her for marriage with a small taj mahal.

A small mark of love from him to her.

She got up from her place with a taj mahal in her hands and started dancing with it. Twirling and laughing she admired the gift he gave to her.

Prerna stopped dancing and took out her engagement ring from her hidden place. She keenly looked at the ring and thought about their first proposal.

Flashback

Prerna was sixteen that time when she took the courage to propose him.

He will either accept or reject her but she has to try for it.

She went to cricket court where he practice cricket everyday and called him to a corner.

"What happened Preu?" Anurag asked her seeing the looming tension radiating from her.

"Woh anurag I Want to tell you something, don't get me wrong. But I love you very much. It's okay if you don't love me but I wanted to tell I love you. What I am telling, it's okay? No it's not. Anurag but still I love you, madly and deeply." Prerna blabbered closing her eyes while anurag looked at her shocked.

Prerna again opened her mouth but anurag closed it with his hand.

"Shoo. Chup ekdum." Anurag said closing prerna's mouth with his hand while prerna looked at him wide eyes.

"And you don't need to be okay, because Miss Prerna Sharma I love you too." Anurag confessed with a smile.

They both looked at each other with love when anurag asked prerna "Now you won't tell anything?"

Prerna pointed him towards his hand and took his back with a grin.

"You really do." Prerna confirmed from anurag and hugged him with all her love.

Flashback ends

Prerna chuckled remembering those days and closed her eyes.

"Preu?" Priya yelled near the staircase making prerna alert.

"Yes Dii." Prerna yelled back and kept all things back to their places in a fast speed.

"He is entering the main gate." Her Dii said knocking at the door and went away. While prerna's heart started to beat faster.

Prerna ran outside her room after seeing herself in the mirror. She went to the main hall and stood their breathing heavily.

A big smile covered her face seeing her Anurag coming inside the house. He was smiling at everyone and touching the feet of elders.

When suddenly his eyes collided with her and they looked at each other deeply as if asking how they are.

While prerna was looking at anurag someone shook her from behind making her eyes change the direction.

She looked at her sister priya with a glare and then at anurag who laughed warmly and left from the hall winking at her.

Feeling too shy prerna went to her room with a deep pink blush on her cheeks.

She reached her room and closed the door. She stood near the door calming her nerves which were in havoc seeing him.
