This time they'll be adults with maturity and realizing that their master the Supreme was way too evil that it made them abandon their master and go in separate ways outside of Paris to live their own lives. Even if it means coming back too when they reunite again. This is all about them trying to work together to fight against the Supreme this time. They won't get too sadistic unless provoked by another enemy. Let's just say that being teenagers made them too villainy to get away from pain but as they got older, their master was too abusive and evil that they ran away with the miraculous.

For 10 years ever since they were mysteriously given a miraculous to use for evil, the two teens never got along nor did they ever succeed in getting butterfly miraculous. 5 years of failing and it did not please their master and when that happens, they get abused for failing nor ever get spared. Other holders have tried and failed too. Until they realized that these strange black veins in their bodies were a price to pay whenever they used their power more than once for evil.

5 years went by as they became adults, and they left their master which made him furious that one day he would make them pay for betraying him. That is if they ever return again.

Present day in Shanghai, at a nightclub known as Yue Xiang which means Moon Phase. A thief owns this nightclub as she goes by Fei Wu. And of course, as every night, top criminals would try to hire the greatest badass villains to steal something but one was very smart when they would try to use him to their advantage.

"Hey, pretty. We are looking for that infamous cat" The criminal said in Mandarin Chinese.

"He won't be interested. Get out!" Fei said but then a dagger was warned.

"Let's try this again. Take us to him or we take this nightclub as our own" The criminals laughed.

"Fine. But be warned. He doesn't like to be disturbed" Fei said and brought them to a private room which was dark and when she turned the lights on, there stood a goth-punk cat-themed man snoring very loud with a fedora hat on his face while taking his catnap on the couch.

"Are you serious?" The criminal snorts at this lazy cat asleep.

"You wanted him. Go wake him up" Fei closed the door, unaware that she locked it from the outside, knowing this would get very ugly.

"Well? Wake him up! He's probably had too much to drink!" The lead urged them in Chinese.

His henchman sneaks up to snatch the ring but the snoring gets too loud like he's about to wake up. He touched it but a hand grabbed him from reaching his ring.

"Agh!" He winced at the strong grip breaking his wrist.

The feline man moved his fedora hat off and was wide awake with a pissed-off look, "It's rude when a cat enjoys his naps" The feline said in Chinese, "Cat got your tongue?" He shoved him against the wall hard.

"Claw Noir! We looked everywhere for you!" The lead said in English.

"No, not interested. Every criminal organization that tried to hire me always gave me a death warrant to throw me away whenever I succeeded. I know every trick and disloyalty" Claw Noir said with a masculine deep voice.

"But you always enjoy jewelry all over the world," The lead said.

"I do but I don't do it for criminals. I'm a lone cat than a wolf" Claw Noir goes to the scratched wall to claw the wall to sharpen his claws like a cat, "Now get out. I'm a retired villain and I like my peace"

"Whatever happened to Shadybug?" The lead asked.

It made Claw Noir stop in his tracks and glance at the men for ever mentioning that name, "Don't know. That was a long time ago. I never wanted to be reminded of that name again"

"He's wasting our time! Kill him!" One of them said as they pulled their guns out.

Claw Noir sighs in frustration at the times they try to kill him, "Dumbasses" He took out his staff and deflects the bullets as they bounce back to them. All ended up with bullet wounds until eventually, they would die in seconds.

As it got quiet, Claw Noir walked over to the barely alive leader and kneeled, grabbing the Chinese jewelry of the dragon eye, "Hmph, another one of their tricks to take advantage of me by lying. Curiosity never killed me. Sweet nightmares in hell" He leaves them dead and knocks on the door to tell Fei it's safe to open the door, "You know the drill, Fei"

"You got it" Fei opened the door.

"Thank you. No claw marks this time" Claw Noir comes out and heads to the car with her, "Don't give me that look"

"I did told you that they all want you and Shadybug dead because of your master" Fei hands him White Russian.

"Our master was no true master but an abusive trainer. We were stupid and young to believe he would remove our pain. He was using us" Claw Noir drank his drink.

"And you said Shadybug abandoned her name to be called Ladybug, while you went back to be Claw Noir," Fei said.

"I did because I want to put fear in other criminals. Paw Noir sounded too soft" Claw Noir said.

"Like your paws? Come on, it's been years since you left Paris. That's like running away from the past that you never put away because your master is still out there probably hiring assassins to kill you and Shadybug" Fei said before giving more drinks to the members.

"That's not the only problem why I left Paris. When I was free from him.....my father...." Claw Noir remembers that his return to the mansion was very tragic that his father died of a broken heart.

He thought to himself he hated his father for moving on too quickly from his mother but now he regretted that his father was reunited with her in the afterlife, Claw Noir has no one but himself and left Paris to forget all that pain and try to move on with a new life.

"I blamed myself and my father thought I was captured and was never found. He died of a broken heart when he thought he lost me" Claw Noir explained his theory to believe his father died a broken heart.

"So what are you gonna do?" Fei asked him.

"I don't know. Continue what I always do. What do you want me to do, Fei? You taught me pickpocket for months so I can survive on my own" Claw Noir finished his drink.

"Go find Shadybug and make sure she's not assassinated. You two were not close friends but you're not kids anymore. You're adults now and adults have maturity when it comes to no longer being childish at everything" Fei said, gesturing him to hand the jewelry that she was getting her hands on for months but thanks to the cat for claiming it earlier.

"She hates me, Fei" Claw Noir hands it to her, "I don't know where she is and we never saw each other again for the past 5 years. One thing I do miss is the girl I had a crush on. If only I saw her one last time"

(Flashback)

Every day he would always have his bodyguard drive to the bakery to buy pastries while Adrien waited in the car to look at the goth girl with pigtails. He never let his eyes off her from the window. If only he did get to socialize with her but lack of it due to being friendless with anyone.

The bodyguard came back in the car and handed him the bag of treats. The smell of pastries was a reminder of her, no matter how many times he tried to one day go in the bakery on his own but was too cowardly to believe she'd reject him. He did not want to feel the same pain when he lost his mother.

The bad kitty made his way to the dance floor with Chinese girls swooning him, reminding him of his teenage crush on the girl he loves who is half Chinese with those Asian eyes like them.

"We love you, Claw Noir" They all cheered for him.

"Careful, ladies. This kitty is bad luck" Claw Noir chuckled and got sexy on the dance floor by zipping down his suit to reveal his pecs and abs.

"Whoa! So sexy" One girl said.

"Meow, and very dangerous. I got poisonous lips made from cataclysm. Don't even try" Claw Noir said seductively as he made his way to the dance pole to take out his staff whip to get sexy and dangerous for Shanghai criminals to never get on his bad side again.

"RAWR!" He swipes his whip around.

It spooked everyone by the smack of the whip and the kitty spots another assassin with the Supreme mark that was sent to kill him. Claw Noir smirked and grabbed him by the whip to pull him.

"Nice try, but you're not getting me this time!" He wrenches the assassin's hand to take his weapon away.

"Okay! Okay! I wasn't planning on killing you! Honest! Please don't kiss me to kill me like the rest!" The assassin begged for mercy.

"Then who are you?!" Claw Noir tore his mask off.

He had to pretend to be bisexual in front of the members to not attract too much attention. So instead, he drags him to the private room to talk before anyone sees him.

"Talk! Now! Or this old-fashioned cat phrase will rip your tongue out for real!" Claw Noir extends his claws.

"Okay! Okay! I came all the way down here looking for you! Agh! But instead, the Supreme gave you and your partner a message that he won't stop at nothing to find you!" The assassin spoke quickly.

"The Supreme never trusted us, he used us like his own puppets he can dispose of! He just wants to finish us off!" Claw Noir said angrily.

"This is different now! He has his successful holders out in the world to find both of you! Both of you have something that belongs to him!" The assassin whimpered.

"They aren't his anymore! By betraying him we saw how he made the kwamis suffer like I have suffered!" Claw Noir lifts him by the throat, "He manipulated me just so I can suffer more than hoping for a better life!" He shoved him aside.

"Now get out of my sight and tell the Supreme to not come for me!" Claw Noir warned him.

"You're sparring me?!" The assassin coughed.

"OUT!! NOW!!!" Claw Noir won't say it again.

The assassin ran off to not face his wrath.

"I told you that the past will always find you" Fei standing near the open door.

"It seems I have to return to Paris to finish him once and for all for using me and Shadybug" Claw Noir said.

"But you don't know where she is," Fei said.

"I know but I have to try. I hope Shadybug is out there" Claw Noir said before heading out the exit door.

"This is insane, cat! You're having a death wish by the time you face alone in Paris!" Fei said.

Claw Noir puts on his helmet and gets on his Ducati, "I ran away long enough, Fei. If I run again, they will always find me. It's time to face the past and get my future back!" Claw Noir drives away.

Shadybug was in Moscow living her own life away from her abusive master. She hoped she wouldn't have to see him or that cat again. She hated that cat for being reckless years ago. Since she left she decided to use her powers for good than evil. But there was no one to be her friend and she was still trapped in darkness since she won't try to be good enough. Especially her parents who could not love her enough. She was right now running her own store in the city under a fake name, Marina Delov to not be found by the Supreme's assassins. Her kwami has now been freed from her seal, enabling her to speak. Even if the goth girl has slightly matured, she can't feel any joy in her life.

"Dasvidaniya" She bid a customer farewell.

It was now closing time and she had enough money to survive on her own, even in the snowy weather of Moscow.

"Well, today I earned something" She turned the sign.

"This is like deceiving, Marinette" Tikki spoke.

"You know my entire life story, kwami. I never had a good teenage life" Marinette said coldly.

"You can start a good adult life than sulk 24/7," Tikki said.

"Hmph, I always am good at having my life become terrible because of him," Marinette said before making her way up the rooftop.

"You're unbelievable," Tikki said annoyed.

"Tikki, blots on" She transformed into Shadybug, sighing at her costume remaining the same as an adult but the name she wanted was still not as the good Ladybug she wanted.

"Time for a city view in St. Petersburg" She swings her yoyo.

She swung up to the Saint Basil's Cathedral. At the top, she reflected on how the Supreme only used her insecurity to make her his pawn. The same way her cat fell for it too, even if they don't know each other behind the mask, except the familiar body scent.

"Who could he be behind that mask?" She wondered.

His scent was so familiar like that "stuck-up-brat" or "self-centered" Adrien Agreste she thought was a weirdo in high school but never saw him again when she was 'rescued' by the Supreme until she realized he was using her.

"Could he be....No" She shrugs it off.

(Flashback)

In high school, she was a nobody but one did try to socialize until he was a clumsy sociable boy.

"H-Hey there" Adrien tried to get her attention but she ignored him.

"Hmph, got somewhere to be?" Marinette refused the greeting that sounded clumsy.

"No, just wanted to talk to you about cla...I mean hobbies" Adrien said.

"I have none," Marinette said.

"Pity, I have video games," Adrien said.

"Interesting. All I do is run the bakery" Marinette heads to her locker.

Adrien however tripped and fell but quickly got back up, "Agh. Oh, that's nice" Adrien said shyly.

"Yeah, but getting flour all over" Marinette replied in a deadpan.

"I'm Adrien by the way" Adrien introduced.

"Marinette" Marinette gathered her books for class and closed the locker door, "Stay out of my way. Chloe likes to steal boys whenever I talk to one. I'm sure you'll find her better than me" She walks away.

"Hey, I wasn't trying to flirt with you!" Adrien tries to protest.

"Yeah, sure" Marinette chuckled in disbelief before heading to class.

Somehow she felt a feeling of guilt after looking into his lonely eyes. Maybe he did want to be her friend but let her insecurities get the best of her.

"What have I done?" She said to herself.

In a one-reflex move, she jumped out of the before an assassin with the Supreme symbol tried to kill her with a knife.

"Whoa! How did you find me?!" She grasps his wrist.

"We have our ways. The earrings. Now!" The assassin demanded.

"It goes with everything I wear" Shadybug gripped his wrist hard, "Not very nice to treat a lady! Why are you here?!"

"The Supreme wants you dead for betraying him!" The assassin said.

"Forget it! If anyone should die it's him!" Shadybug knees him in the crotch.

"Agh!" He held his groin in pain, "Fuck!"

"And I never saw or heard Claw Noir for years. Supreme is wasting his time!" Shadybug summons her lucky charm dagger to finish him.

"Wait! Wait! This is totally different this time. He has already trained successful holders to one day take you and your cat down!" The assassin begged for mercy.

"Well let me tell you this! If he sends them to me, I'm coming for him and finish him off!" She stabs his hand.

"AAGGGHHHH!!! Fuck!" The assassin screamed.

"I am not his puppet and I won't be fooled again to trust someone to take advantage of my pain! Not even as I'm now an adult!" Shadybug digs it deeper, "Now get the hell out of my sight before I'll cut your tongue out!"

The assassin ran off before he gave her the chance to kill him.

"The Supreme is gonna pay for this" Shadybug clenched her fists.
