*THIS HAS BEEN REVAMPED*

I had just gotten home when I found my mother in an odd state. "엄마 괜찮아요?" (Mom, are you alright ?), I asked as I approached her when my father quickly stopped me. "Don't touch her, Daniel. It isn't safe." Now I was completely confused. "Why isn't it safe ? What's going on ?"

My father didn't given me an answer, but he did manage to get my mother to go rest. A few days later I woke up to a loss of air. Like I couldn't breathe. My eyes snapped open, settling in my mother. She looked so broken now. Sickly pale & eyes bloodshot. "저를 혼자 내버려 두세요!"(Die ! Die ! Leave me alone !), she screamed as her grip on my throat tightened. 

I struggled for a few minutes before my father had rushed in & pried my mother away from me. She thrashed around & screamed as my father tried to calm her down in the next room a few doors down. Before long he called me out for breakfast. 

"What was that, Dad ? Mom literally tried to kill me." I loved my mother, but I was absolutely terrified. I was nearly minutes from death a few moments ago. "I have no idea of what's going on, Daniel. I am trying to figure it out."

Truthfully, Daniel' mother wasn't the only one acting irrationally & almost crazy. All over people were suddenly erratic & volatile to their friends, and their families. "Are you really trying or are you just saying that ?" Daniel' father was aware his son was just very concerned, but he didn't appreciate his son sort of accusing him of lying.

"Eat up. I'll go check on your mother." 

A week had gone by before I was woken up in the middle of the night by my father. Sirens sounded loudly, & his mother was a manic mess as a few people tranquilized her. "W-What are you doing !? That is my mother !" A person in a white lab coat muttered something no one ever wished to hear. "그녀는 더 이상 당신의 엄마가 아니에요. 그녀를 놓아줘요. 그녀를 데려가는 것이 당신에게 최선이에요." (She isn't your mother anymore. Let her go. Taking her is what is best for you.)

"MOTHER !", I yelled as my father held me back. I quickly realized our neighbors were experiencing the same thing. "It had to be done, Daniel...", I heard my father say but I was still in shock.
