Uncle Anti

It was December fifth and Anti finally had a plan for Chase to get his kids for Christmas.

It wasn't a morally ethical plan. It was more so along the lines of illegal. . . .Probably.

But by god, he was going to make Chase feel better and this was the only way to do it! This was the perfect Christmas gift!

Now Anti just needed help with this plan in case it didn't quite work out.

Thinking it over some more, he went and knocked on Jackie's door.

After a few moments, the hero answered, looking more cheerful than ever. Anti cocked a brow at him, "You seem happy today"

Jackie rolled his eyes with a chuckle, "What? I can't be happy? What do you want, you little shit?"

Anti bit his lip before looking around, "Can I come in?" he whispered to him.

Jackie knew something was up now and since Anti had spiked his curiosity, he moved out of the way to let him in his room.

Anti slithered in and let Jackie close the door behind him.

"Alright, so what's up? What you hiding?"

Anti moved up and down on his heels, "Well. . . . I have a plan."

"A plan?"

"Yes"

"What is this plan?"

"To make Chase happy this Christmas" Anti skated around what he knew he HAD to really say.

Jackie nodded, "Okay. . . . and how do you want to go about that? You getting him a present for Christmas?"

"Sort of"

"What do you mean, sort of? Explain" Jackie crossed his arms and Anti swallowed.

"Okay so don't judge me on this. . . "

"That's a horrible way to start but go on"

"You know Chase was upset about not seeing his kids for Christmas. He hasn't seen them in quite a few months now, actually"

"Yes." Jackie was very interested in what Anti was getting at.

"Well I thought that maybe, you know, perhaps  . . . we could do something about that?"

Jackie closed his eyes, sort of knowing where Anti was going with this already but allowed him to continue, "And?"

"I sort of need your help for this plan" he paused again.

"Go on"

Anti really didn't want to say it.

Jackie sighed, "Anti, what's the plan?"

"Kidnap the kids"

Jackie groaned and Anti tried to justify it, "I said don't judge me! Now just hear me out!"

"I'm in"

Anti halted and stared at Jackie, "Wait. . . .wh-what?"

"I said I'm in" Jackie placed his hands on his hips, "Chase deserves it. That bitch of an ex-wife of his is going against the law, for one, keeping his kids away from him constantly. Sean was right. He has the legal right to see them twice a month and every other holiday and this Christmas was supposed to be his time with his kids, especially."

"Wow, I didn't think you'd actually agree to this"

"I don't agree to necessarily 'kidnapping' his kids but. . . hero work this time of year is a bit hard to come by. Christmas is sort of more relaxing than any other time of year so I'm kind of bored right now, honestly. But you need a better plan"

"You didn't even hear my full plan!"

"Okay" Jackie snorted, "Tell me your oh so great plan, then, Anti and why do you need me to help you with it?"

Anti gave a cocky little grin.

-8888888888888888888888888-

"I still don't know why you need me here, Anti"

The two were walking up to Stacey's house talking over the plan.

"I need you to watch my back in case she decides to call the police on me. You can call in a favor or two, right? Or just grab me and pretend you were in the neighborhood doing hero work or something. Improvise."

"I guess. Just don't go overboard and I'm sure things won't go that route. Don't threaten her TOO much."

"I won't, I won't" he waved off, "Now go hide somewhere so she doesn't see you and suspect something."

"Yeah, yeah" Jackie ran off out of sight.

Coming up to the door, Anti cracked his knuckles and neck before knocking and ringing the doorbell. He was dressed relatively appropriately to be seen by the kids. He wore a black T-shirt, black skinny jeans and a black choker around his neck so his scar wouldn't be shown.

Suddenly, however, Anti grew nervous. He had never actually met Chase's kids. He's seen them before but that was when no one trusted him and everyone distanced themselves from him. Would the kids even trust him to take them to their dad? What had they been told from others about him? Had they even heard of him?

The door finally opened to reveal a nice-enough looking woman with light brown hair and blue eyes.

"Stacey" Anti was the first to speak, trying to remember his plan.

The woman's reaction was immediate and she tried to slam the door in front of him only for Anti's foot to be in the way. Anti grinned, "Well there's no need to be rude, mam. I only want to talk"

Stacey swallowed, "What are you doing here? I thought Chase and his brothers kicked you out?"

"Oh they did. A long time ago but since then I've somewhat reformed" he chuckled, "You've been out of the loop for a long while, lass"

"I guess. What do you want? Where's Chase?"

"Oh NOW you're worried about where your dear ex-husband is? Hm" Anti channeled as much asshole energy as he could, trying his best to act like Septic would have.

"What do you want? Tell me or else I'll call the police"

Anti smirked as she took out her cell phone. Anti suddenly grabbed it and fried it in an instant with his glitching, "Now there's no need for hysterics, mam. May I come in?"

Shuddering in fear and seeing no way out of this, Stacey moved out of the way to let him in the house.

Meanwhile, Jackie was watching the interaction from the neighbor's rooftop, 'Damn, Anti. You're almost pushing it'

As Anti waltzed in the house, he smiled at Stacey as she shut the door and walked by him. He giggled, "Perhaps we should take a seat and chat?"

"O-okay"

Anti glitched over to a chair in the living room and sat in it comfortably, "Come take a seat, lass. It's your house after all."

Stacey hesitantly came over and sat on the couch in front of him but she made no move to speak, clearly terrified. Anti softened, "Stacey, I have no plan to hurt you or the kids."

Stacey gave a slight eased breathe but Anti continued, "But I did hear of what you told Chase. Why can't he see his kids for Christmas? Why have you been keeping them away from him when he clearly has the right to see them?"

Stacey built up some courage and glared at him, "You can't just come in my house and ask these questions. It's none of your business"

"And yet here we are. Tell me, Stacey, where ARE the kids?"

She huffed, "They're at my sisters for the day not that it's any of your concern"

"Why won't you let Chase have the kids?" he growled at her, making her uncomfortable again.

"I. . . I knew he was drinking and-"

"That's a shit excuse and you know it. The reason Chase was drinking was because you wouldn't let him see his damn kids, y̷o̸u̴ ̴b̴i̴t̷c̵h̶!"

Stacey's mouth formed a thin line, clearly trying not to lose her temper with him. She valued her life more than to anger him.

"He's not a good father. He never was. He could never provide for his family, that's why I divorced him."

"You divorced him so you could be a slut, don't you dare lie to me! THAT'S why the kids are at your sisters. Chase IS a good father! He hasn't drank a drop in months and he hasn't seen his kids in way too long. He's getting his kids for Christmas whether you like it or not, Stacey"

The woman sneered, "How dare you! You can't come in my home and demand such things! They're MY kids. I birthed them! Besides, if Chase wants to see them so bad, them how come he isn't here with you?"

"Because he respects you! I have no idea why but he believes you're a good mother and would rather let you have your way than to NEVER see his kids again. However, I have a different opinion. You're not a good mother." Anti stood up and stood above her, slightly glitching, "How can a woman who slinks off to bang random blokes on Tinder, leaving her kids with her sister be a good mother? How can a woman who won't let his kids see their father be a good mother? I'd understand if Chase didn't care about their well-being. I'd understand if Chase drank around them and was abusive but H̸E̴'̸S̶ ̸N̷O̴T̵!̵"

Anti glitched spastically and he he forced his eyes to turn black, "Chase is a good fucking father! He's the best father in the fucking world and loves his kids so damn much, you'd never understand!"

"How'd you know about Tinder?"

Anti rolled his eyes, "I saw it on your phone before I fried it. You're lucky I won't tel Chase about it. He'd be able to fight you in court with that. Leaving your kids constantly to go flaunt yourself to other men every other night. Shameful. And here Chase thought you were such a fantastic mother to be raising his kids"

Stacey was near tears as he hovered over her threateningly. He was about to say more when the door opened, "Stacey, we're back!" another feminine voice rang out. Anti immediately stopped glitching, sat down and made his eyes go back to normal. He didn't want to scare the kids.

Suddenly two little kids came running in, "Mommy! We're back!" they ran up to Stacey and hugged her, not noticing her stiff posture. Stacey's sister walked in.

"Did you hear m- oh." she noticed Anti in the chair, "Hello there. I'm sorry, Stace, I didn't realize you had company."

Anti smiled at Stacey, daring her to say something.

The two kids, a boy and a girl, looked over at Anti curiously. The little boy popped up, "Who's he and why's he look like daddy?"

Stacey was about to say something but Anti interrupted, "Hi kids! My name is Anti. I'm one of your dad's brothers."

The little girl gasped," You're our uncle?!"

"We never met YOU before, though" the boy looked at him with judgement. He seemed to get that look from Stacey. The little girl, however, was just excited to see him.

"Well that's because I've been away" Anti grinned, "I've been talking to your mom here about something VERY important."

Stacey's sister narrowed her eyes at him, "Why ARE you here? Stace, why's he here?"

"Doesn't matter. The reason is irrelevant" she answered, "It's not happening."

She was braver now that the kids were there, confident that Anti wouldn't snap since he clearly stated before he didn't want to hurt them.

"Yes, it is." he wasn't giving up though.

"What's not happening, mommy?" the boy asked.

"Nevermind, Sam, it's nothing-"

"Wouldn't you two like to see your daddy for Christmas?" Anti blurted out and the reaction was immediate.

The little girl had a look on her face like she was just told she was going to Disneyland, "Yes! I want to see daddy! Oh please, mommy, please!?"

Even the little boy cried out, "YEAH! Why can't we see daddy, mommy? We never get to see him anymore!"

Anti smirked at Stacey, 'Try explaining that one, Stacey'

"It's complicated, kids" Stacey started, "Um" she looked over to Anti who glared deathly at her and she couldn't think.

Anti smiled, "Oh come on Stacey! Let the kids see their daddy! Chase wants to see them so bad, too!"

"He does!?" the little girl ran up to Anti, surprising him, "I want to see daddy! Please, Uncle Anti, can we see him!?"

Anti smiled softly at her, "It's not my decision, little lass" he ruffled her hair a little, "It's your mother's, I'm afraid"

She whined and turned to Stacey, "Oh please, mommy! We'll be good, we promise!"

"Please mom?" Sam gave her puppy eyes.

Stacey broke finally, not seeing any other choice. With a sigh, she relented, "Fine."

The children cheered and Anti chuckled, "Good! Now go pack your stuff kids! Don't doddle!"

The kids disappeared to their rooms and Stacey's sister went off to help them, not wanting to be in the same room as the two glaring at each other.

"Why today? Christmas isn't for another few weeks!"

"Oh silly me, did I forget to mention?" Anti stalked over to her, "Since you've been denying Chase for so long to see them, I figured it's only right for him to get the days he's missed out on. From today until December 26th, he'll have his kids. You should be happy, Stacey! You get so much more time to yourself now!"

"That's not fair! I-"

"̷D̵o̸n̵'̵t̶ ̴e̷v̸e̵n̷ ̶g̸e̶t̷ ̴m̷e̶ ̶s̷t̷a̸r̶t̴e̶d̵ ̷o̶n̴ ̴w̷h̸a̵t̷'̸s̷ ̵f̶a̵i̶r̵"̴ he glitched and she shut up.

"O-okay. . . fine. Fine"

Having won, Anti smirked in his victory, "And you better not deny him the kids again after this. I know where you live now, Stace. Plus. . .I have information"  he gave her a sickeningly sweet smile.

Before anything more could be said, the kids ran back down the stairs and the little girl jumped to Anti, "We're ready to go, Uncle Anti!"

Sam giggled, his little heels bouncing up and down, "Ready!"

Anti's heart melted at the two, 'Uncle Anti' he thought, 'They don't even know me and yet they're so sweet'

Leading them out the door, they walked a few seconds out before Jackie appeared," Hey kids!"

"Uncle Jackie!" they rushed to hug him and he laughed as they practically tackled him.

"Sammy, Kallie!" he addressed them, "You ready to see your daddy?"

"Yeah!"

"Good, but it's got to be a surprise, alright? You just listen to your uncle Anti and I. Your daddy's gonna be so happy to see you two"

As they walked home, Jackie fell beside Anti behind the kids as they hopscotched the sidewalk, giggling together.

"Uncle Anti, eh?" Jackie nudged his side, "That worked out a lot better than I thought it would."

"Well of course it did!" Anti whined indignantly, "You thought my idea wouldn't work?"

"No." Jackie laughed, "I thought I'd need to step in more than once but you handled it. You did good, Anti, no matter how illegal it was"

"Hey don't even, you were just as much a part of it as I was" Anti nudged him back.

Kallie heard them laughing and stepped back to them, "Uncle Anti, how come we never heard of you before?"

"Uh"

"Uncle Anti's been away for a while" Jackie saved him, "But he's back for good and he's gonna have to deal with us!"

She giggled but Sam still didn't quite trust the situation, "I heard from mommy one time that you were a bad man."

Anti's heart stopped but he smiled, "Well . . . I've done some bad things but that was because of the bad man in my head. A bad demon monster was controlling me making me do bad things. But he's gone now. Your Uncle Anti won and beat him"

Sam looked over to Jackie to confirm this weird story.

"It's true" Jackie nodded and Sam looked at Anti then in awe.

"Cooooool"

"Do you have any powers like uncle Marvin? Or are you super strong like Jackie?" Kallie asked.

"Or are you super smart like uncle Scheep!?" Sam cut in looking even more interested in him than before.

They were coming up to the park which was only a few more blocks away from home.

"I can glitch" he stated, "Wanna see? I used to not be able to control it but now with the bad man gone, it's so much easier"

"Glitch? What's that?" Sam asked.

Anti looked around and Jackie gave him the thumbs up. Anti glitched away a few paces ahead and the kids stared in awe as he continued to glitch around until he was in front of them again.

"That's so cool!" Kallie blurted.

"You can teleport!" Sam's smile was huge, "You're so cool, Uncle Anti!"

Anti felt his face heat up at their gushing.

When they finally got home, they stopped at the door and Anti told them the plan, "Now when we go in there, you need to be very quiet. Your dad doesn't know about you guys getting to come. We wanted it to be a surprise."

The nodded enthusiastically.

Jackie leaned down to them, "You two are gonna stay behind us all quiet and then when we give the signal, you're gonna ran up to him and surprise attack him! Got it?"

Sam pumped his fists, "Got it! Mission on! Right sis?"

"Yeah! We gonna be the be the best spies!"

Jackie ruffled their hair and had them stand behind them as they walked in. The first person they noticed was Schneep in the dining room sipping on some coffee. He noticed right away something was odd, "Vhere have you two been today?"

Jackie held up his finger to shush him and Anti asked softly, "Where's Chase? We have a surprise for him"

Finally taking notice of the extra small feet behind them, Henrik smiled, "He's in za living room. Be extra quiet now, little mouses"

The two kids giggled just barely as they made their way into the living room. Henrik followed behind, not wanting to miss this.

Marvin was fidgeting with his wand, changing the colors of the lights on the Christmas tree when he noticed the two come in, trying to hold in their smiles. He noticed right away the feeling of the two kids and smiled.

Jameson walked in from the dining room beside Henrik and covered his mouth with his hands, excitedly.

Chase was on the couch flipping through channels on the TV. He looked bored and still pretty sad but he wasn't stupid. He noticed the change in the room and looked around awkwardly.

"Uh . . . hey guys. Where have you two been today? Haven't seen you guys since this morning."

"We've been out and about" Jackie made sure that Chase couldn't see what was behind him as did Anti. The kids were going along with this perfectly.

"Okaaay" Chase knew something was up, "Why'd everyone come in here looking like something's gonna happen, bro? This another prank of yours or something?"

Anti shook his head, "Nah, no." he accidentally said in a higher pitch than usual which gave him away.

"Anti" Chase stood up and gave him that fatherly look, "I've told you not to lie to me again, bro. We've talked about this. You can't lie to me, anyways. But now you have everyone else involved? What's going on, man?"

"We just thought we'd get you an early Christmas present is all, Chase" Jackie provided and Chase crossed his arms.

"Is that so?"

Anti smiled softly, "We just didn't want you to be sad anymore, Chase. We found the perfect gift for you to make you feel better. Since you couldn't go see your kids for Christmas-"

"Dude, stop" Chase frowned, "I'm sorry but there's nothing you can give me that'll be better than seeing my kids, man. I'm sorry-"

"We thought we'd bring your kids to you"  suddenly Kallie and Sam leapt from behind their uncles and ran up to Chase.

"Daddy!" they cheered and tackled him.

Chase's reaction was beyond surprised and Henrik was worried for a moment he'd have a heart attack or something.

"WHOAH!! Oh my god! Kallie!? Sammy!?" Chase hugged them both tightly and started crying, "How the heck did you- Why are you two here!?"

They giggled as they hugged and kissed their dad, "Uncle Anti and Jackie came and got us!" Sam provided.

"Oh god! I've missed ya guys so much!" Chase basically sobbed hugging his kids and the other egos in the room grinned at the wonderful scene as the two children clung onto their father like little monkeys. Chase looked up at Anti and Jackie, "How did you guys convince her?"

"Don't look at me" Jackie shook Anti's shoulder, "It was all Anti's idea. He convinced her to let you have them until the day after Christmas."

Chase sobbed even more, kissing his kids, not wanting to let them go for the world. Finally, he just stood up with his kid's legs around his waist like sloths or monkeys, his arms around them securely as he came up to Anti.

"Anti, you sly little devil, you. Thank you. Kids, help me hug your Uncle Anti." the kids held their arms out and they all group hugged Anti. Chase leaned his forehead against his, "Thanks man." he cried and kissed Anti's forehead, "Best present ever little dude"

After a while of calming down, Chase sat on the couch with Kallie and Sammy on either side of him. They talked animatedly, catching up. Chase loved to hear about what they had been getting up to and what they had learned since the last he saw them.

Eventually hearing the news from Henrik, Sean came over to see the kids as well, excited for Chase. They had a blast the rest of the day talking, eating sweets and playing games together.

Finally it was time for the kids to get to bed and Chase gave them his room. After they finally fell asleep, Chase went downstairs to the living room to sleep on the couch to see Anti there staring out the window. It had started to snow.

Chase walked up to him and hugged him, startling the glitch but Anti calmed immediately seeing who it was.

"Thanks again, Anti. How did you do it?"

Anti rubbed the back of his head a little, almost ashamed, "I .  . .uh. . .I may have threatened her a little. Just a little!"

Chase rolled his eyes but smiled anyways, "Whatever the case, I'm happy to see them. I hadn't seen them in so long, it almost felt like they'd just forget about me. I was actually sort of afraid of that, actually."

"Nah, they love you! As soon as I mentioned your name to then, they freaked"

"I know. I love them, too, so fucking much. They wouldn't leave my side the whole day. Not that I would have let them" he laughed.

The two were quiet for a few moments before Chase spoke again, "We're gonna play outside most of the day tomorrow. Supposed to get a lot of snow by morning to mess with. You gonna join in, Uncle Anti?"

Anti giggled, "Uncle Anti. They don't even know me. Heh. But they ARE your kids" he smirked, "They're almost too nice."

Chase shook Anti's shoulders teasingly in a side hug, "Better get used to it. You have the next few weeks with them, Uncle Anti. They told me how cool your glitching was. They absolutely adore you already."

"They're good kids." he smiled as Chase yawned.

"You should get to bed, Chase. You have a full day ahead of you tomorrow."

"I'm gonna, I'm gonna. Got to set up the couch."

"Take my bed. I'll sleep on the couch"

"But Anti"

"No buts. You need a good rest to deal with those two hyper brats" Anti glitched over to the couch and laid down taking the whole space, "Now get."

Chase shook his head but couldn't stop smiling, "Whatever you say, little bro. Thanks again, man. Love you, Anti"

"Love you, too, Chase" Anti yawned himself as he stretched on the couch. Chase smiled at him one last time before leaving upstairs to Anti's room.

Anti fell asleep smiling, glad his plan worked.

The next morning, Anti woke up to the feeling of his face being poked. Groaning, Anti fluttered his eyes open to see Kallie poking him.

"What you doing, brat?"

"It's time for breakfast Uncle Anti!" she bounced, "Daddy told me to come wake you up"

"He did, did he?" he suddenly attacked her with a hug making her shriek and giggle. She tried to run away but he glitched up and flung her onto his back. The little girl wrapped her arms around his neck laughing, "Uncle Anti! To the kitchen!" she pointed and he nodded.

"You got it little lass. Onward!" as they made their way into the kitchen, the others stared surprised as Kallie was on Anti's back getting a piggy-back ride. Sam pouted as Anti set her down in a chair but Anti caught on and went to ruffle his already messy hair, "Hey brat"

"I'm not a brat!" he argued but Anti just tickled him, changing his mood completely.

The other egos were surprised at how good Anti was with the kids but didn't really question it. He was almost a kid, himself so perhaps that was why. Chase  sat with his kids and they all ate breakfast together.

Henrik started a conversation, "You vill see your cousins, too, for Christmas. Are you excited?"

"Yeah!" Sam nodded, "I haven't seen Leo in forever!"

"Or Heidi! I miss her! I miss playing tea and dollies with her" Kallie whined.

"Do not vorry little mouses!" Henrik grinned broadly, "You vill see both Leonard and Heidi on Christmas! They vill be staying until you two have to leave as vell"

"But I don't wanna ever leave!" Kallie said, "I want to stay with daddy forever"

"Me too" Sam whine.

Chase's heart melted, "Aw, little dudes, you're gonna make your old man cry again. Listen just eat on up and we'll go outside later and play in the snow! That sound like fun!?"

"Yeah!"

The rest of the day was filled with laughs and unending smiles. None of them ever wanted any of this to end.

Thought we needed a cute chapter or two before their date of December 27th comes around lol
