"Can I get on the bed now?" Harry asked as he walked up to the bed before looking back at Ron and Hermione as he asked for permission.

"Of course, you can," Ron said with a smile as he walked over to Harry. He picked him up and set him on the large bed.

He did his best to hide his anger for the Dursleys while talking to Harry, not wanting him to think he was angry at him.

Harry settled onto the bed before crawling over to the head of the bed. He snuggled against the pillows and covers.

"This is really, really soft." He told Hermione and Ron at the same time as his eyes began to droop closed.

"I'm glad you think so," Hermione said with a soft smile as she sat beside him on the bed.

"Are you sleepy?" Ron asked as he sat on the other side of Harry.

Harry nodded his head as he made himself comfortable against the pillows and got under the covers in the middle of the bed.

"You can take a nap, when you wake up we'll eat dinner and play a game and then we'll all go to sleep for the night okay?" Ron said gently as he ran a hand through Harry's hair gently.

Harry nuzzled against Ron's hand. "Okay," he said sleepily before allowing himself to fall asleep.

Hermione and Ron stayed quiet for a bit before Hermione began whispering to Ron, "I didn't know you were so good with kids."

Ron looked up at her and smiled sheepishly "Well I did help raise Ginny and I would help all my brothers whenever I could too even though they're older than me, they were still kids at the same time as me. We would all take turns comforting each other for different things so I was raised taking care of kids and I never stopped taking care of them." He said as he looked down at the sleeping Harry, still moving his hand gently through his short hair.

"That makes sense, I don't know why I never thought about that. I'm an only child, as you know, so I never got to raise anyone. I fear I may be awkward around children for the most part." Hermione said as she adjusted herself so she could rest her back against the headboard of the bed.

"Well, from what I've seen so far, you've been wonderful with Harry. You have good natural maternal instincts." Ron said with a fond smile as he looked over at his beautiful girlfriend.

She smiled back at him with a light blush. "Thank you, Ron." She said softly, she was truly worried that she wouldn't be a good mother in the future.

She thought that because she had no prior experience helping raise children, she would be horrible at it. She has only read a few parenting books when she was bored and anxious about the future or when he mind went swirling about what could happen in the next handful of years.

Ron could see Hermione's mind spinning behind her eyes, "'Mione." He said softly, snapping her out of her thoughts and making her look over at him.

"You're going to be an amazing mother, I know you will." He said in a loving tone making her smile at him yet again.

"And if you don't want to be a mother then that's alright too, we can wait as long as you'd like to have them or if you don't want kids at all, I'll adjust to the idea over time and I'll be perfectly fine with it. I want you to know that I love you and I plan on spending the rest of my life with you. I want to make sure you're always happy and if that means no kids, then we won't have kids. Simple as that." Ron said, rambling softly so he wouldn't wake Harry up as he looked at Hermione with nothing but pure love in his eyes.

Hermione blushed at his look and smiled softly at his reassuring words. "I love you too, thank you for being so... well so you." She said as she moved over to Ron, wrapping her arms around him and resting her head on his shoulder.

He immediately wrapped his arms around her back and head, holding her close. "Well it's pretty hard to not be me so I'm glad you love me for me." He said as he laid them both down so they could be more comfortable.

"I'll always love you for you, always and forever." She said before giving him a quick kiss on the lips and then resting her head back down on his chest.

He kissed back and then grinned largely after she pulled away. He loved her kisses, her hugs, her cuddles, her affection, and everything about her.

"The same goes for me to you, I'll always love you always and forever and ever and ever." He said with his big grin.

Even though Hermione couldn't see the grin on his face thanks to her resting against his chest, she could tell he was grinning a massive grin.

"Do you mind if we also take a little nap?" She asked him before yawning as if her body wanted to prove to him that she was feeling sleepy.

"Of course not, take a nap Love," Ron answered instantly as he gently moved his hand through her curly hair the best he could without pulling any knots.

Hermione gave him a small nod before letting her eyes close and her body relaxes as she allowed herself to drift off to dreamland.

Ron however, stayed awake, running his fingers through her hair the entire time. He kept his eyes looking back and forth between Hermione and Harry, wanting to make sure they were both comfortable while they rested.

He stayed awake the entire time and decided to wake them up just before dinner started so they would be able to wake up properly and adjust to being awake again before going down to eat.
