Imagine visiting your brother, Chad, and when you started driving from the wonderful Florida to the mountains in Tennessee you get a call from Chad saying that your best friend and crush, Joey, is going to be there.

I was packing my bags to go visit my brother when my mom walked in my door. She walked over as I was folding my last pair of jeans. She started folding my shirts and putting them in beside my jeans.

"So, Izzy, how long you gonna be gone?" She asked me. I stopped folding my shirt and looked at her.

"I don't know. Whenever Chad tells me to leave I guess" I answered honestly. She nodded and walked over to me and kissed my cheek, then she started walking out, but before she closed the door she spoke again.

"Oh and while you're in Nashville, get a boyfriend. You're almost 25" I rolled my eyes playfully as she closed the door. I shook my head while smiling. I finished folding my clothes and zipped up my suitcase. I grabbed both of my suitcases and walked out of my room. I stopped in the kitchen and saw mom cooking.

"Well I'm leaving now. Goodbye mom" I stated. She turned around and hugged me. I hugged my dad and went outside to my car. I turned it on and drove away to Tennessee.

~a few hours later~

I was almost in Nashville. Right now I was at the gas station getting gas and eating a granola bar my mom packed for me. When the car was filled up, my phone rang. I looked at the id and saw Chad's name and face on the screen. I smiled and pressed the green answer button.

"Hey bro how ya doin" I asked. He sighed.

"Don't even ask. I just wanted to tell you that your annoying friend is here" he stated.

"Hey I heard that" I heard someone yell in the background. I smiled softly already recognizing that voice.

"Yes you are Joey now stop talking. I'm trying to speak to my sister" he yelled back.

"When are you going to get here here?" He asked. I turned my car on and looked at the time on there.

"About an hour" I replied. He sighed in relief.

"Thank God. Please hurry" he said and hung up. I rolled my eyes ad hurried as fast as I could without breaking the speed limit.

~one hour later~

I arrived at Chad's house safely. I opened the back and grabbed my suitcases. I walked up to the front door and knocked.

"Coming" I heard from behind the door. The white door opened to reveal Fallon. Her eyes gleamed with happiness.

"Izzy!" She yelled grabbing everyone's attention.

"Fallon!" I yelled back with the same tone as her. I wrapped my arms around her as she did me. We pulled away and I saw Chad smiling at the both of us.

"I haven't seen you smile in forever" I stated and he rolled his eyes. I quickly hugged my older brother, then pulled away once I heard a familiar voice.

"Don't I get a hug" Joey said as he pouted. I went to go hug my best friend of three years. After talking for awhile we decided to play games. It was getting late and soon Joey had to go. I walked with him outside while talking some more. Then everything was silent.

"It was nice seeing you again" he started I nodded in agreement. I looked around and saw that no one was around. I turned my attention to Joey as he started to talk again.

"Listen, Izzy, there's something I want to tell you" he started as I stared into his dashing blue eyes. I nodded as a sign for him to continue.

"Ok so this might sound cheesy, but the moment I saw you at our concert three years ago I have fallen hard for you. I know you don't share the same feelings and I'm making a total fool of myself, but I had to get this off of my chest. You can go ahead and reject me, but just know that I'll always love you. I love you the way you are and I'll never get over it. So just ple....." I cut him off by kissing him square on the lips. He seemed confused at first but then kissed back. I pulled away first and stared into his eyes.

"I love you too" I stated barely above a whisper. He smiled widely.

"Ok then I have another question" I nodded to let him know that he has my attention.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. Instead of answering, I just kissed him again.

"I guess that's a yes" he said after he pulled away, smiling. I nodded and hugged him. He pulled out of the hug and walked to his motorcycle.

'Well, my mom is going to be happy when I give her the news' I thought as I watched Joey ride away on his black motorcycle.
