(A/N: idk if its just me, but it looks like i posted two of the same chapter. But like, on my editting page, it says i onlu have the previous chap up. Sorry if it's like this for u too.)

Before I could comprehend anything, I was sitting in a beautiful flower field. I was taken aback. The sunlight escaping the bright pastel colored sky felt warm radiating on my skin, and the floating mountains and hovering waterfalls revealed a mystical vibe. The flowers of different colors were just one of the beautiful things that caught my eyes. I could only gap at the place. The animals looked so peaceful. A group of glowing butterflies flew past a floating waterfall and I was mesmerized. A beautiful hummingbird that shined a gorgeous yellow chirped at my face. It wisped around me before flying off to a nearby pond with a gigantic tree in the middle of the pond. I decided it wanted me to follow, so without anything to go against it, I did. I was greeted with a powerful, but gentle voice that echoed this strange realm.

“You’re a long way from home, my child.” the voice echoed.

I looked around and didn’t find anyone here. The voice sounded as if it came from every direction so i couldn’t pinpoint it.

“I’m aware.” I giggle and stare at the scenery in front of me.

“Bold of you to giggle in such a dangerous situation young one.” It chuckled at my small being.

“Dangerous? Hardly.” I scrunch my brows and pick up the smallest flower of the bunch which was hidden by the taller ones. It was wilting and I gently slid my finger along it’s petal.

“Interesting.” I can hear the amusement in the person’s voice even though I can’t see. “I can explain your situation if you walk across the pond to the ancient tree.” It states blandly and I look at the tree in the middle of the pond. I didn’t notice it before, but the fire flies surrounding its leaves glimmered and glittered in the sun. I couldn’t help but run across the water excitedly and stare up at the fireflies dancing rhythmically when I got closer.
“This realm or whatever you call it is beautiful.” I whisper not expecting him to hear.

“Thank you” the person chuckles. “You surprised me. Many souls who were told to stand in the pond sunk and were disqualified then removed from this realm. To see a small girl like yourself dash across with no problem amazes me.” The person states as the fireflies glowed with each word. I gasped at the mysterious person.

“Disqualified? Removed? What?” I stare at the tree, realizing the voice must be coming from it.

“Let me explain. I am the God of Transmigration. I determine which souls get reincarnated where and what person, place, and fate. Another god makes their fate, I just match them to what. I do this by comparing their past lives and the weight of their soul. By weighing a soul, I mean comparing the burdens and hardships by the soul itself. Your burdens were abnormally heavy. Usually, people would drag that along and turn into venomous people, affecting the soul. But you--” he paused laughing genuinely.

“You have one of the lightest souls I have ever weighed! I know this because of the water you are standing on. If your soul was burdened so much so that it weighed to much, you would have drowned. You basically skipped above it! Never had such an event occured up until now.”

I was at a loss of words. I gathered up the rest of myself and finally spoke. “So you’re telling me, Since my soul is contradicting my past life burdens entirely, I get to have a better life?” I ask.

“Smart. However, living  always has an obstacle no matter the situations. I can give you a chance at a better life with everything you could ever need. But you need to fight for it. You need to earn it with your own actions to get the life you desire. You need to change fate.” I whispered his every word under my breath, imprinting it in my brain.

“It will be hard, so I’ll give you a few abilities you can use to your advantage when you get there. Now…” He trails off and the environment shifts as if the sun is darkening, leaving the fireflies glowing brighter than before. My eyes glimmer in hope and curiosity. For once I get the chance to explore the world! I have a chance! I have a life..!

"Do you want your happy ending?”

“Yes please!” I smiled brightly, tears of joy streaming my cheeks. The fireflies glow blinded my sight and I felt the world disappear into fragments along with my body. I left the realm hearing a hearty laugh from the tree and  the wilted flower which proves of my presence once there.

I didn’t know what the world ahead of me was going to throw at me, or what the people will treat me as, but I won’t ever let that get in my way. I will change the world along with my fate. I will become the person I wanted to be in my old world, and do the things I wanted to do when I couldn’t. I will become everything and anything I need to be for this. That’s a promise.
