"Yunho! Drive!" Yeosang shouted after looking out the back window. "Drive, drive!"

Yunho swore under his breath and gunned it. The Illusion's engine roared even louder as she tried to outrace the explosions happening behind them. "What happened?"

"I don't know!" Yeosang shook his head quickly and glanced at his laptop. He was sure he had programmed everything correctly so that only half the bombs would go off. "I- I don't know! Only half of them are showing as detonated."

"Can you stop it?" Yunho yanked on the steering wheel to head toward the exit.

The car shook as rubble continued to pile up behind them. Large cracks started tp appear in the floor, indicating that it too was about to collapse.

"No. I can't."

"Well then hang on, this is going to be close." Yunho kept increasing the speed to drive faster. It was the only way they were going to make it out of this alive.

At the far end of the room, a few Pack members ran appeared to investigate what was happening. They all stopped and stared with open mouths as the place they called home disappeared before their eyes. Not one of them made an effort to try and stop the car either.

There was no stopping them anyway.

Yeosang grabbed the car handle next to him and sucked in a breath. This was way to fast for his liking, but he could handle it.

A ping came up on his laptop and Yeosang gasped when he noticed it was Mingi trying to contact him. It was the second time too, he must have been so busy with the bombs he missed the first one.

"Mingi?" He asked after singling out his earpiece. "Mingi, can you hear me?" When he didn't get an answer, Yeosang turned up the volume of his earpiece and froze when he heard the chaos on the other side.

"What is happening to them?" Yunho asked, glancing at the laptop with wide eyes.

"I-I'm sure they are fine." Yeosang said, more for himself than anything.  He had to believe that they were going to save Jongho and that everyone was going to be ok...

But any hope he had was gone when sections of the ceiling in front of them started to collapse. A large piece fell right in front of the car and Yunho had to yank on the wheel to swerve around it.

"This is too close!" Yunho growled and swerved around another large piece of cement.

"I know, I know!"

The exit was right in front of them. It was getting closer and closer, all they had to do was go a little further.

Then an explosion went off right next to the car and sent it spinning off to the side. Both Yeosang and Yunho cried out while trying to find something to hold onto.

It took several rotations for the car to finally come to a stop, and thankfully it wasn't because they slammed into anything. However they were still in danger.

Yeosang grabbed his bag and stuffed his laptop inside it before getting out of the car. He slung his pack over his shoulder and ducked his head, protecting the back of it with one of his arms while running around to the other side.

The instinct to fight drove him forward. There was no way he was going to die getting crushed in a car.

"Yunho! Come on!" He shouted over the sound of falling rubble. He could feel smaller bits slamming into his body and tried not to think of the of the bruises they were going to leave.

Yeosang ran around the Illusion and pulled open Yunho's door, then bent over to help pull him free. It was going to be a challenge helping him get out of here, but Yeosang would never leave him behind.

"I-" Yunho bit his lip and shook his head.

"Come on. Just grit your teeth and push through it. I'm not leaving you behind." Yeosang leaned into the car and wrapped his arms around Yunho's chest to start pulling him out.

The driver cried out in pain, but kept himself as relaxed as possible. When he could stand on his good leg, he let Yeosang duck under his arm to support him, and the three of them started rushing toward the exit as fast as the could without Yunho putting pressure on his injured leg.

"Almost there." Yeosang panted heavily and started to pull Yunho forward.

"S-Sangie..."

"Don't give up on me! We are almost there. Think of San."

Rubble continued to fall. But to add to that, large cracks in the floor started to appear.

They were running out of time.

With a final push, especially from a few hard ones from Yunho's good leg, they managed to make it to the main entrance.

The bodies of Pack members were laying in their own blood from where they had been hit by the debris. To some extent, their plan had worked... but they had just been hoping to be clear of the area.

Then the biggest quake of all hit and Yeosang cried out as he was crushed between Yunho and a wall while trying to balance himself.

They turned their heads just in time to see a giant section of the ceiling fall, shining a light down from the floor above.

Rolling clouds of dust filled the air. Both Yunho and Yeosang started to cough and turned their heads away to try and protect their lungs.

It took a few moments for everything to settle, but one it did, Yeosang peered back into the room to see exactly what happened.

His heart stopped.

Laying on top of some of the rubble... was Hongjoong.

Yeosang helped Yunho lean against the wall before he ran forward, climbing over large pieces of cement and wood to make his way to their leader. "Joong!" He fell to his knees next to the man and gave him a once over. Besides some bruising, it looked like he was going to be ok. "Hongjoong, can you hear me?"

The older groaned and slowly opened his eyes. "Yeosang? Wha..."

Cement moved next to them and Seonghwa's hand poked out from a small hole. His muffled coughing could be heard, so Yeosang slid over to start pushing debris out of the way. "Hwa. Hwa I'm coming."

When enough had been cleared, Seonghwa was able to push through and pulled himself from the wreckage. "Where's Woo?" He asked immediately, looking around in all directions. "Wooyoung!"

"Seonghwa, what happened?" Yeosang pleaded. He looked back to where Hongjoong was slowly sitting up and rubbing his head.

A little distance away, more groans could be heard and rubble was rolling across the ground. San crawled forward, dragging someone behind him.

It took Yeosang mere seconds to recognize the limp body. He let out a strangled cry and scurried forward, not caring where he was stepping, until he got to Jongho.

"Baby? Jongie? Jongie!" Yeosang rolled him onto his back and cupped his cheeks. "What happened?" He asked, turning to San. Large tears rolled down his cheeks and it took every ounce of strength left in him to not sob uncontrollably.

"I... pulled the... headband off..." San panted. He fell onto his side and curled up a little, holding his stomach. "He... had a... seizure..."

"WHAT?" Yeosang could feel his panic rising and he turned back to Jongho. "Baby, please, answer me." He leaned forward to place his ear by Jongho's mouth and whimpered when he felt air. Jongho was still breathing.

"SAN!" Yunho shouted from where he was still leaning against the wall. He started to hop forward on one leg, face scrunched up in agony as he did.

"Yunie.." The younger whimpered and pushed himself off the ground so he could run to Yunho. When they reached each other the collapsed in a pile on the ground, arms wrapped as tightly as they could around each other.

Everything felt so wrong. It was almost as if time had slowed as Yeosang watched the couple embrace. He turned his head and saw Hongjoong helping Seonghwa stand.

They were still missing two...

Both Seonghwa and Hongjoong seemed uninjured, so they started searching the concrete pile, pushing and pulling large chunks in an effort to find their loved ones.

Yeosang worked quickly to pull Jongho out of the way, then set up so he could cradle the younger in his lap. "Please, please, please... Wake up baby. I'm here." He leaned forward to place his lips against Jongho's forehead and started to pry to every god he knew of.

"Wooyoung! Mingi! If you can hear us, answer us!" Hongjoong shouted.

Loud clatters sent both boys scurrying backward as a large section of the pile started to roll away.

A small hand poked its way out, alerting them to another person who had survived the fall. But before either Hongjoong or Seonghwa could reach him, another one was tossed aside from someone underneath.

Wooyoung started to pull himself free, blood running down the side of his face from a head injury. It looked like he was also holding his shoulder.

But the panic in his eye is what alerted Yeosang to what was really happening.

Mercer stood up behind him with a roar. He threw the rock in his hand off to the side and looked around with a rage that caused fire to burn in his eyes. Especially once he saw the destruction around him.

"NO! FOOLS! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?!" Mercer spun around in a circle and clenched his fists.

Then his eyes fell on where Wooyoung was pulling himself forward. He stooped down to pick up a piece of concrete bigger than his own fist and raised it above his head.

"Father, no!" Seonghwa jumped up and tackled his father from the side, sending them both tumbling down the pile and crying out at each impact.

There was no getting out of this now. If Mercer was here then this would be when they had their final battle.

And they had yet to see Mingi...

Hongjoong looked like he was torn between going after Mercer and continuing his search. Thankfully he didn't have to decide because San came running forward, wielding a rock of his own which he threw at Mercer when the man tried to stand.

It his him in the side of his neck and sent him stumbling to the side.

"You won't win this!" San cried. "Not after all the pain you've caused!"

Mercer started to laugh. He stood up once more and tipped his head back to let out a deranged, manic laugh. "Oh but I already have! For you to be this desperate. There's no way you're going to win! I just need to get to my machine and I will erase all of this!"

"There's no way down. It's all gone." Seonghwa stood to face him. "And even if there was, I would never let you."

As father and son squared off, Wooyoung continued to struggle to get free. He searched desperately for help and ended up finding Yeosang first. "S-Sangie!"

Yeosang clutched Jongho to him, not wanting to leave his love's side... but for now Jongho was only sleeping. He gently set the younger down before going to help Wooyoung.

"My leg..." Wooyoung twisted to look back at where his leg was trapped beneath a large, flat piece of concrete.

"Hang on." Yeosang found a long, metal rod that was still intact and wedged it under the slab, then pushed down on it with all his might.

Wooyoung screamed and pulled with his arms. He managed to pull it free and curled over his leg. "What happened?" He asked the hacker.

"I don't know. But everything went wrong. I couldn't do anything to stop it. What happened with you guys?"

Wooyoung opened his mouth to answer, then gasped and started to twist around. Yeosang followed his gaze and grabbed the metal rod once more. Although he feared it wouldn't be enough.

For moving the piece of rubble trapping Wooyoung had revealed something else.

Mingi.
