Mingi tried to keep his emotions under control during the entire time Yeosang asked him questions. He failed almost right away, but he just prayed that would make everything he was saying seem more sincere.

Even though he had told his story a couple of times already, for whatever reason this time was harder.

Yeosang sat across from him, stone-faced and eye flicking between Mingi's face and the machine he had Mingi hooked to.

At first, Yeosang didn't ask any questions either other than for Mingi to tell his story. Both he and Jongho sat next to each other and watched his every move. Yunho also stood behind them and listened carefully.

Because of this, Mingi went into even more detail than he had with Yunho. He went over all the interviews, trainings, and each member's story.

He watched as Jongho eyes narrowed in a glare when he started talking about them becoming friends and Jongho disclosing his story to everyone. It was even worse when Mingi started talking about Yeosang.

It warmed Mingi's heart that at least two of them had ended up happy. He would have never guessed it would be Jongho and Yeosang after things had been so tense between them.

Hours passed by in what felt like minutes. It was hard to stop talking once he truly started, even if he had to force the words out through his tears.

The only times Yeosang showed any emotion was first when Mingi started talking about the guilt Yeosang had felt when Seonghwa and Wooyoung were taken after the break in. His eyes flashed to the ground and he tilted his head in Jongho's direction just a fraction of an inch.

"It wasn't your fault." Mingi said gently, trying to keep his voice as sincere as possible. "It was all a perfect setup because of San. He was so easily controlled but none of us knew about it until it was too late."

"Controlled how?" Yeosang asked. He leaned forward and scrunched his nose a little.

"Well we had a doctors come in to test him to try and diagnose whatever was causing the split personality he had. It was discovered he had a chip implanted in his brain. We never found out how or why, but it allowed the Pack to take over his mind and control him. You actually came up with a way to block their signals."

"I did?"

Mingi nodded. "Don't ask me how or for any information. You are way to smart for me. But you made some kind of head band," Mingi started gesturing to his own head, "and on it was a little chip that rested right above the chip in San's head. Something in it allowed him to regain control." Mingi glanced at Yunho next. "You actually worked with him to help block out his demons too. I think he pictured locking the voices in his head behind a door. That seemed to be what helped him the most."

Yeosang sat back in his chair and rubbed his neck. "That sounds like something I could do. Continue."

"There's no way you believe this, do you?" Jongho asked, standing up quickly.

"I don't know what I believe yet." Yeosang snapped while giving the younger a harsh look. But then his gaze softened and he reached out to take Jongho's hand.

Mingi's lips quirked slightly when he saw Jongho relax and let out a sigh before sitting back down.

Once he was settled, Yeosang turned back to Mingi and nodded. "Continue."

The next couple of hours was filled with Mingi talking again as he went over the police turning on them and their hasty escape, and then the two different encounters with the Pack. It was obvious that all three of them were dying to ask him questions, but he was grateful that they let him get to the end of that story and begin his for this life.

"And that brings us to what you already know. I tracked down Yunho and then we came here." Mingi said, letting out a long breath.

The silence that surrounded him felt like someone had tossed several sacs of flour over his shoulder.

Yunho was chewing on his bottom lip and staring at a spot on the floor while Jongho was looking at Yeosang.

The hacker looked like he could possibly be chewing on his tongue of the inside of his cheek the way his jaw kept working back and forth.

When Jongho saw that too, he stood and disappeared behind a corner for a minute and then came back holding something that made Mingi's heart soar. Jongho sat back down next to Yeosang and held up and unwrapped sucker, to which Yeosang just opened his mouth to accept the piece of candy.

His family was still here. They had changed, but they were still here.

Several minutes passed with Yeosang pushing the sucker around in his mouth while staring at the machine. Mingi would wait all night if needed, but he was starting to feel anxious. His started to tap his foot against the ground and watching his knee bounce as something to try and distract himself.

"So what is your plan?" Yeosang finally said. Mingi glanced at him and froze. "If we were to help you, what is your plan?"

"This is my plan so far. I'm just trying to track everyone down that I can. Honestly I had no idea where you were so if Jongho had agreed to come you were next on my list because of your hacking skills."

"And what were you going to do if I wasn't a hacker?" Yeosang arched an eyebrow but and almost amused look reflected in his eyes.

"I had to have faith that you would be. I'm still the same person I was in my past life, I just have a different past now, so a couple of things about me might be a little different, or would have been if I didn't remember."

Jongho pursed his lips. "I just don't get how this would be possible if it's even real. How can someone build a machine to travel back in time?"

"It sound like he was able to get a pretty rare particle right?" Yeosang started typing on his computer.

"Yeah, none of us knew what it was. We barely figured out what his plan was. It was only because of Seonghwa that we were able to even attempt to intercept them. I'm sure he's already got whatever it is in this life to prevent anyone from using it against him."

"That would make sense." The hacker mumbled as his fingers flew over his keyboard.

Yunho let out a long sigh and ran his hand through his hair. "You said you know where Hongjoong is, right?"

Mingi felt his heart sink a little. "Yeah, I do. I don't know how we are going to convince him though. I'm pretty sure he's running some kind of underground black market. Seonghwa and San were there the other day searching his shop. So I know those two are with the Pack."

"And you said Wooyoung could be there too?"

Nodding, Mingi leaned forward to brace his elbows on his knees. "I feel like the chances of him not being there are very slim. Seonghwa's father is a sick man. If this is supposed to be his perfect life..."

"We have to stop him." Yeosang said, looking around the room.

"You... You believe me?" Mingi felt a lump forming in his throat.

Jongho paused as well and studied Yeosang's face. The pair looked at each other and had a silent conversation that had Mingi suddenly feeling like he was intruding, but whatever it was had Jongho conceding and shaking his head. "Are you sure?"

"He didn't lie a single time." Yeosang glanced at Mingi. "Not even a small blip. So either he is just very good at lying, or everything he said is true. And after watching his reactions, I'm willing to believe him and give him a chance."

At his words, Mingi slipped out of his chair and fell to his knees. He was overwhelmed with so many emotions again. He was almost halfway there. Maybe this was actually going to be possible after all.

A sob tore from his throat and he had to lean forward to brace himself on his hands. "Th-Thank you..." He managed to force out. "Thank you..."

Slowly, Yeosang moved to join him. He placed a gentle hand on Mingi's back and patted him a couple of times. "I can't imagine what you've been through, but we are here to help you now. The Pack needs to be stopped. So let's get started."

Mingi sniffed and whipped all the tears from his face and sat up. "Y-Yeah. Ok."

"So Hongjoong first?" Jongho asked, pulling over Yeosang's laptop. "I think I've heard of a black market in this area, so I can try to see what my regulars have to same about it. If it's something happening right under the Pack's nose I bet there's something special we'd have to do to get in."

"I can show you the store he works in too. That's what Seonghwa had searched while there."

"So..." Yeosang sat back so he was sitting on his heels, "If Seonghwa is doing that... Then he must be ok with what his father is doing. Or could his father be forcing him?"

"It's hard to say." Mingi shook his head slowly. "His father was so deranged at the end... but he seemed genuinely upset when Seonghwa had been shot. I think there's love there, so I don't' know if he would be manipulative or if Seonghwa actually respects him."

"We will have to see if we can get him alone." Yeosang stood up and started pacing. "It sounds like San could be with him too so we could possibly get both of them together. I can start working on this headband for San too, I think I know what I could do to block signals and such." He stopped suddenly and turned to look at Mingi. "Where are you guys staying?"

"I've got a small apartment I stay at, it's nothing special." Mingi said.

At the same time Yunho snorted and said, "Nowhere special."

Yeosang nodded once. "You'll stay here then. If this is really going to happen then I think it would be best if we all stayed together. Are you ok with that Jongho?"

The youngest looked like he really wanted to oppose. His eyes said it all; he didn't like the idea of someone invading their privacy. But Yeosang was obviously going to get his way because Jongho pulled out his phone. "I'll call the contractor to have them come build a couple of rooms."

"I'll pay for it." Yunho said quickly. "Since we showed up out of the blue."

"You don—" Yeosang started but Yunho just bolted from the room.

A few minutes later, he reappeared with the large bag that Mingi had seen him throw in the back of his car. "Here. We are now a fully funded operation!" Yunho beamed and bounced in placed after dumping the contents of the bag on the floor.

It almost seemed like a never ending stream of money. He even had to shake the bag a couple of times to release a couple of bundles of cash.

"Wow. Where did you get all this?" Jongho asked.

"I'm one of the top drag racers in the city." The older puffed his chest in pride. "I've never really had anything to spend it on so it's just been stockpiling."

"Well money wouldn't have been an issue anyway, but thanks." Yeosang took the bag and dragged it over to a large safe that had been built into the side of the wall where he stored it safely. "Alright. Let's begin."

Kill them! Kill them all! He must not be allowed to live!! Hurry, San. Hurry. Take the blood you thirst for. END HIM!
