San rolled into his side and groaned. His head hurt so much... It was pounding, although it always pounded these days.

It hurt to much to even think about opening his eyes, so he laced his arm over them and tried to pretend he could go back to sleep.

No luck though... The bed shifted next to him and an arm wrapped around his waist. It was comforting and San was able to relax at the touch.

Soft, feathery light kisses danced across the base of his neck, making him shiver. "Good morning." Seonghwa's low voice came from behind him.

Their bare skin rubbed together, reminding San of their bliss-filled evening together. He smiled and wiggled his shoulders a little, settling deeper into the bed. "Good morning." He muttered. It was always harder for him to get up in the morning.

"Do you want to go with me today?" Seonghwa asked. He started to rub soothing circles across San's chest, making the younger hum with content.

"To do what?"

"Father wants me to check on a high priority target. I guess he disappeared yesterday and now Father's worried that if we can't find him he may cause trouble for us. Do you have any assignments today?"

"I don't think so." San rolled over slowly and pressed his nose to Seonghwa's chest. "Do we have to?"

The older chuckled. "I have to. You don't. You can stay here if you want to."

San let out a long, probably over-dramatic sigh. "No I'll go. I don't like staying around here if I can avoid it."

Seonghwa just nodded in understanding and slipped out from under the covers. "Alright, we will try to make it quick. I don't understand what my Father expects me to find, or what's so important about this guy."

San rolled over and noticed the file sitting next to to the bed. "Is this him?" A hum from the closet had San pulling the file to him.

"Jeong Yun... ho..." San whispered. The name rolled of his tongue and had him pausing. It felt... familiar, but he was certain he had never heard it before. He opened up the file and skimmed the small page of information they had on him, which wasn't much. Really it was just his last known address, his presumed age, height, and the fact that he was a street racer.

There was one picture, though, and San found himself staring at it without blinking.

Yunho was so handsome. His fluffy brown hair and kind features. Even though he was almost scowling in the picture, San could tell Yunho was only tough because he had to be.

And his eyes...

San brushed his finger against the photo.

"Are you going to get dressed?" Seonghwa stepped out of the closet pulling on a black button down shirt. Then he checked the leather straps around his thighs and waist where San knew he would holster a couple of guns and knives.

"You're getting that geared up?"

Seonghwa shrugged. "Better to be safe than sorry. If this man is as dangerous as my father seems to think he is, then I'd like to be prepared."

"Why do you think he wants him?" San pushed himself off the bed and walked into Seonghwa's closet. They spent enough time together that he had a small selection of clothes here and he could stop by his room if he needed anything else.

While he dressed in a very similar outfit, Seonghwa looked at Yunho's file again. "I have no idea. This is the one thing that Father doesn't want to share with me yet. I have a feeling he will soon, especially if these people elude him. He must be dangerous though."

San pursed his lips and glanced down at the photo he had brought into the closet with him. There was no way this man was dangerous.

When he was ready, the two of them went to the weapons room and finished gathering their gear.

While Seonghwa favored guns, and selected several to strap to his body, San picked a variety of both. All the training he had been through, he knew that he was well rounded and skilled with both hand to hand and long range combat.

"Are you sure this isn't too much?" He asked, looking down at the six different knives attached to his thighs and the two handguns at his waist.

"Probably. Let's go." Seonghwa motioned with a jerk of his head for Seonghwa to follow.

San looked down at the ground. He knew that Seonghwa had slipped into his work mask. He always got this way when going out on a mission. So serious and focused. It almost scared San when he thought about it.

But then he remembered the looks he got from other members of the Pack and knew he must get the same way sometimes...

They made their way to the garage and Seonghwa picked one of the faster sports cars to drive. Within minutes they were speeding through the main part of the city.

Seonghwa wove in and out of traffic with practiced precision. No one dared question him or try to stop him either. That was the nice thing about ruling the city. San loved all the power that came with it.

The house they were going to would normally have taken them almost an hour to get there, but Seonghwa managed it in just over thirty minutes. The neighborhood itself was incredibly rundown and as soon as anyone on the street saw their car, they ran back to their houses.

Seonghwa just scoffed while pulling into the driveway of their target's house. "Be on guard. These people are filth and I'm sure they will try anything if given the chance."

San had to agree. Already there were groups of onlookers gathering a few houses down trying to see why they were here.

"If ANYONE so much as breathes on my car, you will get a bullet through the head. Got it?" Seonghwa looked in their direction with a deadly glare. No one answered him or moved, but they exchanged worried glances.

At that, Seonghwa walked up the house. There were bullet holes all along the front side. He tapped the door handle a couple of times, then turned it quickly while pushing the door in. Surprisingly, it swing open without resistance.

Seonghwa pulled out his gun and cocked it, then held it in front of him before stepping inside.

Meanwhile San pulled out two knives and twirled them between his fingers to try and calm his nerves. The house was nothing like he expected it to be from the picture of Yunho. It was so... empty and run down...

There were no pictures on the walls, no decorations, the couch looked like it was already beat up before it had been shot to pieces, no dining room table... How could anyone actually live here?

Seonghwa looked just as stunned. "Someone who lives here, is someone my father is scared of?"

"Maybe he never actually considered this place his home." San muttered. He meandered into the kitchen and tilted his head to the side when he saw the hole in the floor. "They must have left quickly when our men showed up."

"Oh I'm sure they did." Seonghwa started opening every drawer in the kitchen. Then he jumped when his phone started to ring. He pulled it out quickly and held it to his ear. "Hello? Oh, Father, I—" The tone of Seonghwa's voice changed drastically, making San turn to look at him. "Yes. Well I— Yes, I asked him to. He said— Father you don't—"

San was about to asked if everything was ok when he swayed in place. His head grew heavy and black dots appeared across his vision.

San. It's ok. We are here.

Comfort. That's the first thing he felt when he heard the voices. They were... comforting... to him.

We need you to do something for us San.

"What's that?" He asked, ignoring the fact that Seonghwa lowered the phone from his ear and glanced at him.

Find the target. Find him, and eliminate him. Can you do this for us?

"Yes." San turned and scanned the room again. Whoever lived here had been careful not to personalize it or leave any trace of who they were.

The hole in the floor was suspicious though. San crouched next to it and narrowed his eyes. What could that have been used for?

He must have been hiding weapons. He must be stopped! He is dangerous!

San just nodded and studied the slide marks on the floor, and then his eyes fell to the refrigerator that was lying on its side next to an open door.

He stood in one smooth motion and exited the house. A garage stood in front of him and the first thing he noticed was the security cameras that had been set up to watch it. But there was nothing elsewhere in the house...

Odd.

San could sense Seonghwa following him, but he knew that he was the better problem solver so Seonghwa would follow his lead for now.

Not caring about the cameras, San opened the door into the garage and looked around. One wall had tools placed in and organized fashion so that everything was hanging and accessible. Below it was a workbench, again neat and tidy, although there were a few stains in the wood. Stains also marked the segment floor where he knew the target's car was parked and probably worked on.

More cameras were placed around the inside. The target sure cared about his car.

At the end of the garage, tire marks showed where the driver had most likely slammed on the gas to make their escape.

"I need access to all the cameras in this location." He said.

That's it. Trust your instincts. Make us proud, San.

"That shouldn't be a problem." Seonghwa said from behind him.  "I have one of our screens in the car."

"Get it."

The older hesitated, then left without another word.

We must hurry. We can't let him find the others.

"Why?"

He will try to convince them to take you from us. He will hurt you, San.

San didn't like the sound of that. He didn't want to be taken away from the only thing that had ever cared for him or protected him. There was no way he was going to let that happen.

Seonghwa returned da few minutes later with the screen he mentioned. A thin device that was see through unless activated. Once San's fingers started to dance over the screen, it lit up with a pale blue light. He typed in his request to the Pack's mainframe and within seconds he was scanning through the security cameras in the area.

He was able to find the ones for this address easily and started sifting through the last few days. When he found the day in question, he watched as another man ran up to the house. Once he was out of view of the cameras San wasn't sure what happened, but a short time later a group of Pack cars pulled up. Then two people ran into the garage and pulled away in their car.

San took several screenshots and would rewind the footage so he could study it. He managed to get the plate number, as well as confirm the target.

The other man was unknown.

Enhance.

He followed the order and zoomed in on the picture.

Then he cried out in pain when the voices started screaming in his head. It was a loud, terrified wail that wouldn't stop.

"San! San, what's wrong?!" Seonghwa ran forward to catch him before he fell to the floor.

TRAITOR! FILTH! SCUM! HE MUST BE STOPPED!

Soon San found himself repeated the words being screamed in his head. He couldn't help it.

"HE WILL END ALL THINGS! HE MUST BE DESTROYED! FIND HIM AND KILL HIM!"

"San! SAN!" Seonghwa yelled at him, trying to get him to stop.

San pointed at the tablet and kept screaming. Then his body started to shake in Seonghwa's arms. He could vaguely hear the older male still calling out to him, but the voices in his head took over everything.

Don't stop until he is dead! He will kill you first! He will kill US! You must end him, San! You must kill him!!

The wailing grew louder, to the point where San was pressing the heels of his hands into his temples and screaming at the top of his lunges.

When it got to the point where his body couldn't physically take it anymore, San seized up for seconds before he blacked out.
